Brandi Glanville slammed for Armie Hammer tweets — and for her apology
After receiving hundreds of horrified replies, Brandi Glanville has apologized for a tweet in which she flirtatiously referenced Armie Hammer's alleged cannibal fetish. "Dear @armiehammer You can have my rib cage," the former "Real Housewives" star tweeted on Monday, Feb. 8, adding, "How do you just keep getting hotter and hotter #letsbbq." The post comes amid claims from multiple women who say the actor discussed sexual fantasies involving cannibalism with them. As Brandi's Twitter feed filled with angry replies, she initially asserted she'd been kidding and refused to apologize to those she'd offended. "I'm not sorry I don't take it back it was a … joke clearly I need my rib cage but maybe he can have one my kidneys," Brandi tweeted (and later deleted), according to Us Weekly. "Get some hobbies," she chided. Later in the day, however, she changed her tune. "Guys I DID NOT KNOW the extent of whats being alleged against AH," she posted. "I just read he was getting divorced and thought he was hot …lesson learned." Brandi's apology (slash ignorance claim) didn't do much to stem the tide against her on social media, though. "You did know since you referenced him eating your rib," one user pointed out. "Either apologize for real or dont." Armie has denied the allegations against him, as has his lawyer, who called the women's claims "patently untrue" and said the star had only ever had "consensual" interactions with intimate partners. Despite his denial, Armie has been dropped by his talent agency and bailed on multiple projects since the scandal erupted.

Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers are reportedly engaged
Congratulations are in order for Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers. Earlier this month, multiple outlets confirmed the "Big Little Lies" star and Green Bay Packers quarterback are an item. Now, People reports the couple is engaged. "They are very happy together," a source told the outlet on Monday, Feb. 8. "It's not surprising he proposed so fast," the insider added. "When you know, you know, right?" The two aren't exactly keeping their big news a secret, either. On Saturday, as Aaron accepted the NFL's MVP Award at a virtual NFL Honors ceremony, he mentioned the engagement while ticking off the events of the past year. "It's an honor to win this award for the third time. 2020 was definitely a crazy year filled with lots of change and growth, some amazing memorable moments," he said. "180 straight days of having my nose hair scraped, playing for very little fans or no stands the entire season," Aaron continued before announcing, "I got engaged." As of Monday, Shailene had not yet commented publicly on the news.

The Weeknd's 40-pound, ruby studded jacket was among the 'most challenging' aspects of his Super Bowl Halftime Show
The Weeknd's meme-worthy Super Bowl Halftime Show performance broke multiple traditions, from the stage the singer had built in the stands — what looked like an ode to the Las Vegas Strip — to his decision not to invite additional artists to perform with him, other than an orchestra and a cadre of backup singers and dancers. "Abel [The Weeknd's real name] wanted to start with high production value. He came up with this idea of that open," the show's executive producer, Jesse Collins later told ET of the car/Jumbotron opening sequence. "It was something that had never been done before and he worked it out with Pepsi." The over-the-top tech wasn't the necessarily the most difficult aspect of the concept, though. Collins told ET the singer's red jacket was made of "real rubies" and weighed about 40 pounds. "That was probably one of the most challenging parts through the whole thing, because rubies are not the most flexible things in the world," he explained. "So just to wear that thing, running around, up and down, singing live and dancing, it was really unbelievable how he was able to pull that off." Collins also confirmed that the lookalike, red jacket-clad dancers wearing bandaged faces a la The Weeknd's "After Hours" look were meant to be a final nod to the idea of calling Hollywood's "absurd" and superficial culture into question. "He definitely wanted to complete that thought," Collins said. "Those bandages also had KN95 masks built in them, so it was a great way to be COVID-19 safe while at the same time tell the artistic story that The Weeknd wanted to tell."

Tom Brady gets some love from Gisele Bundchen and ex, Bridget Moynihan, after Super Bowl win
Tom Brady's long inspired polarizing vibes among football fans, but his family was clearly thrilled to help the quarterback celebrate his first Super Bowl win for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, Feb. 8. After the Bucs destroyed the Kansas City Chiefs, 31-9, Tom's wife, Gisele Bundchen, joined her husband on the field in Tampa, where the couple embraced and kissed, both smiling the whole time. The supermodel also shared a sweet video on her Instagram Story showing the pair's kids, Vivian, 8, and Benjamin, 11, jumping and hollering, "we won!," as the game came to an end. Tom and Bridget Moynihan's 13-year-old son, Jack, joined the family for the game, too — as his mom cheered for her ex on social media. "I am pretty sure I am not the only one from #patriotsnation celebrating @buccaneers," Bridget wrote on Instagram. The game marked Tom's seventh Super Bowl and after he was honored as its MVP, the 43-year-old told reporters that despite reports he might retire after this season, he plans to continue playing with the Bucs next year. On Monday, meanwhile, Page Six reported Gisele, 40, is leaving IMG Models after 22 years.
Diplo faces backlash for playing Morgan Wallen's 'Heartless' to mostly mask-less crowd
Amid growing concern that the weekend's Super Bowl festivities in Tampa, Florida, may have been a COVID-19 superspreader, social media posts showed that Diplo's performance on Saturday, Feb., was attended by a crowd of largely mask-free fans who appeared not to heed safety warnings. Staged at the Godfrey Waterfront Hotel's WTR Tampa Pool — the same venue where Steve Aoki performed to a mostly mask-less audience on Friday — Diplo's show attracted some 2,000 concertgoers, many of whom could be seen enjoying the show within elbow-rubbing distance of the people around them, according to the Daily Mail. Ahead of the show, Diplo, who's already been vaccinated, shared a photo of a sign at the venue that read, "Masks are mandatory…please social distance and wear mask at all times." But social media pics and video from the event proved those rules were mostly disregarded. Posts also showed Diplo played Morgan Wallen's "Heartless" just days after the country star was forced to apologize for using a racial slur in a video that leaked online. Though his music was dropped by major media platforms including CMT and iHeartRadio after the footage went public, Diplo could be seen smiling as his audience cheered along with the track. None of this sat well with social media users. On Sunday and into Monday, posts on Twitter and Instagram slammed the DJ for being complicit in potentially spreading the virus that's killed at least 463,000 Americans. "Travelling from LA, the most out of control city Corona-wise," on Twitter user griped, "… to what is bound to be the biggest super spreader event yet just because you miss pressing buttons for a crowd and incorrectly believe that all of Florida is vaccinated is just next level moronic." Wrote another: "Diplo supporting his racist look a like all Morgan Wallen while not wearing a mask, and throwing a super spreader club party. Smh." Florida recently became the first state to report 200 cases of the new coronavirus variants, according to USA Today.

Engagement rumors hit Emma Watson and Leo Robinton
Emma Watson's fans have been speculating that the actress may be engaged to boyfriend Leo Robinton after she was spotted in Los Angeles last week with a new piece of jewelry adorning her left ring finger. Photos published by The Sun show Emma, 30 giving Leo, 31, a kiss on Thursday, Feb. 4, while resting an apparently injured leg on a scooter. In the pics, the "Little Women" star appears to be wearing a delicate gold band on her left hand, sparking a slew of social media comments and requests for more from fans. As of late Monday, she had yet to reply — and if her track record for divulging details about her personal life is any indication, it seems unlikely she'll confirm or deny any engagement buzz online. The couple has kept their relationship largely under wraps since they were first linked back in 2019.
Billie Lourd reveals she had a 'gestational diabetes scare' while pregnant
Last week, Billie Lourd shared a photo of her first sonogram from early February 2020. "1 year ago today I had my first ultrasound and today I have a laughing smiling little human sitting on my lap (?!?!!!!!)," she marveled in the caption. The actress — who never revealed her pregnancy until after her son, Kingston, was born in September — also shared one of the challenges she endured while she was expecting her first child. While chatting with fans in an Instagram Story Q&A, Billie, 28, was asked what she craved most during her pregnancy. According to BuzzFeed, she initially replied that she was all about some Ben & Jerry's Mint Chocolate Cookie until a health concern forced her to replace the indulgence with something better for her. "But then I had a lil' gestational diabetes scare, so then it was beets?!?!" she continued. "Random, I know, but that's pregnancy vibes for ya!!!" Gestational diabetes is relatively common and because it usually causes no symptoms, pregnant women are generally tested during their second trimester. Left untreated, it can cause pregnancy and delivery complications and can put women at a higher risk for type 2 diabetes later in life.
Caitlyn Jenner praises Kylie Jenner for being a 'best friend' as Kylie does her dad's makeup for the first time
"The highlight of my life." That's how Kylie Jenner describes her excitement about doing Caitlyn Jenner's makeup for the first time in a new video on Caitlyn's YouTube channel. Shot in the Kylie Cosmetics office, the footage shows the 23-year-old beauty entrepreneur welcoming her dad, 71, in for a glam session as the two reflect on what it means for Caitlyn to be able to express herself freely since she publicly came out as a trans woman in 2015. "Did you ever think this day would come?," Kylie asks her dad early on in the clip. "No, did you ever think?" Caitlyn replies. "I mean, I was 65 years old before I finally came through this. It's like I had to raise everybody else and I had such a life and finally, it was my time to be me and live my life." Caitlyn goes on to say she wasn't sure if she'd ever go through with her personal transformation. "I didn't think I could do it and then I did it and you guys have been my best friends," she says, seemingly referencing Kylie and her sister, Kendall Jenner, or all of the Kardashian-Jenner daughters. Speaking to Harper's Bazaar last year, Kylie said she and her dad are extremely close and still talk on the phone at least every other day.
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan surprise a virtual poetry class in honor of Black History Month
A group of budding poets got an unexpected, virtual royal visit over the weekend, courtesy of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who wanted to celebrate Black History Month by introducing themselves to students in the arts education nonprofit, "Get Lit – Words Unite" project. "Guess who surprised our poetry class this weekend?! It was the best weekend EVER!" read an Instagram post from Get Lit on Monday, Feb. 8. The caption went on to praise Meghan for sharing "some of her favorite poetry lines." According to HuffPo, Meghan and Harry's team contacted Get Lit to ask how they could be involved. "Our Poets' mouths hit the floor," Get Lit's founder and executive director, Diane Luby Lane, told HuffPo in an email. "After they left, one of the poets started crying and said 'I need someone to explain what just happened right now.'" She also said the students were "completely blown away" to find the Duke and Duchess of Sussex "knew the names of each of the Poets and talked about their lives." The pair also got music recommendations from the class and said they planned to make a "dinner playlist" from the ideas. "They both listened so deeply to every word of the 3 poems that they heard," said the director, who added that they also, "discussed deep things like racism and the importance of listening to one another."
