Kylie Jenner gushes about her dad, says they still talk almost every day

Unlike some of her sisters, Kylie Jenner remains on great terms with her father, Caitlyn Jenner. In a new interview with Harper's Bazaar, the 22-year-old Kylie Cosmetics mogul says she and Caitlyn talk "like, every day," other than the "three or four weeks" when Caitlyn was out of the country shooting, "I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!" "I watched clips online," Kylie recalls. "It was hard to be out of touch for that long, but I feel like it was harder for her because she couldn't see us." Caitlyn came out as transgender in 2015, after which she wrote candidly in her memoir about challenges in her marriage to Kris Jenner. Some of the things she revealed struck a nerve with Khloe Kardashian and others in the family who have since distanced themselves from Caitlyn. Kylie, however, is loyal to her father. "My dad was the best growing up. Never missed a sports game. Took us to school every day, and our school was like 45 minutes from our house," she says. Finally, Kylie says the "audience" her dad had as an Olympian helped make her comfortable being in the spotlight before she was ever on TV. "I don't know," Kylie says. "I think it's a blessing, the way it happened so early, because I don't really know what it would be like to not be famous or in the limelight."

The Mother Monster shared a photo of her new boo cradling her in his lap on a yacht on Monday, Feb. 3, amid multiple reports revealing his identity. "We had so much fun in Miami," she captioned the shot. "Love to all my little monsters and fans, you're the best! ❤️" Gaga and Michael were in Miami together for Super Bowl festivities including her performance the night before the game. Michael, a tech entrepreneur who heads up a number of organizations and businesses owned by Napster founder and Facebook president Sean Parker, was spotted kissing Lady G on a balcony a few days before the game. He reportedly watched the singer's show from a VIP suite while chatting with her mom. They were previously spotted sharing a kiss on New Year's Eve.

Ashton Kutcher says 'it's all good' with ex Demi Moore, but they 'don't hang out'

When Demi Moore released her memoir, "Inside Out" last fall, her ex-husband Ashton Kutcher, who's featured prominently in the book, did not comment on it publicly But a recent appearance on Marc Maron's "WTF" podcast, the actor was open about where things stand for him with Demi and the daughters she shares with her previous ex Bruce Willis. "Ah… We don't hang out. You know. It's all good, we don't hang out," Ashton said of Demi. He added that he makes "a really conscious effort to stay in touch with the girls," referring to Rumer, 31, Scout, 28, and Tallulah Willis, 26, whom he helped raise. "It was eight years — there's no badness," he pointed out (Demi and Ashton married in 2005 and finalized their divorce in 2013). "I loved them and I'm never gonna stop loving them and respecting them and honoring them and rooting for them to be successful in whatever they're pursuing. At the same time, I'm not their father. I was never trying to be their father. I always had respect for Bruce and I think he's a brilliant human being and a wonderful man. So if they don't want an engagement with me, I'm not gonna force it upon them, but they all do and it's great." At the time of the book's release, a source told People Ashton "hasn't talked about [Demi] since the divorce, and he never will," because "he respects that she's a mother with a family."

In other celeb couples of yore news … Nick Lachey is apparently unaware of the commentary Jessica Simpson included about the former couple's marriage in her new memoir, "Open Book." Nick, 46 and now married to Vanessa Minnillo Lachey, stopped by "Today" this week to talk about their new dating series "Love is Blind." When Hoda Kotb asked how he reacted to Jessica's printed reflections on their marriage and split, Nick replied: "I'll be honest, I obviously haven't read the book, so I don't know what she said or what she revealed there, but I'm certainly happy for her and her life, I know she is happy for us. There's definitely a mutual respect there, so that's, you know — obviously, it was a long time ago; we've all moved on." In her book, Jessica acknowledges that after she and Nick consented to be "always mic'd and always on" for their starring roles on "Newlyweds," things eventually went south. "We worked and we were great at it but when it came time to being alone, we weren't great at it anymore," she wrote (as excerpted by People). She has also cited that she was "very young" when she got together with Nick and that "the media" attention made it harder to navigate their marriage.

Nicki Minaj faces backlash over Rosa Parks reference

Hip-hop fans can't seem to decide if Nicki Minaj just name-checked Rosa Parks in a new track out of respect, confusion or as a dis. Nicki shared the new song, which she hashtagged "Yikes," on Instagram this week shortly after returning to the platform following a three-month hiatus. The post features Nicki rapping lyrics that include, "All you b—— Rosa Parks / Uh-oh / Get your a– up." Later, she calls detractors "clowns for life," and the song does sound largely aimed at haters. It hasn't helped matters that the late civil rights icon would have turned 107 on Tuesday, Feb. 4 and that the line dropped at the start of Black History Month. As one seemingly confused commenter posted (via Complex). "Not only is the Nicki Minaj Rosa Parks line disrespectful, it makes no sense. Cause Rosa didnt get up. Or is she speaking from the white power side of it? TRASHHHHHH." NBC News, on the other hand, cites an interpretation from an account called The State of Hip Hop that reads: "The bar was a double entendre … Basically she's talking about how everyone want to act like they're in for a movement, or for the culture, but they're not doing anything about it. So it's sorta of like an indirect meaning to what Rosa stood for. Although Rosa Parks was sitting down, she made an impact." As of Tuesday, Nicki had not weighed in to clarify her meaning of the reference.

Mo'Nique calls out Oprah Winfrey after her exit from Russell Simmons doc

Mo'Nique took a shot at Oprah Winfrey this week regarding her response to sexual misconduct allegations against Harvey Weinstein as opposed to Russell Simmons and Michael Jackson. In an open letter addressed to Winfrey on Instagram, the "Precious" actress said she "felt compelled" to speak out about the "disparity" between Winfrey's treatment of "people who were accused of the same" kinds of things. She went on to reference a 2017 interview Winfrey gave "CBS This Morning" in which she said she was looking for the "silver lining" with regard to Weinstein. "You also said 'if we make this all about Harvey Weinstein then we have lost the moment,'" she continued. "When you either are, or were going to be a part of documentary on Michael Jackson, and Russell Simmons, how is that not making it all about them? Interestingly, Brother M.J. was acquitted, and deceased, so how is he not off limits?" She went on to ask if Winfrey looked "for the silver lining" with regard to accusations about Jackson and Simmons "like you said you did for H.W.?" Mo'Nique then wrote that "the only difference between the two is there [sic] skin color and doesn't H.W. have way more accusers?" The post comes after Winfrey exited her executive producer role on a new documentary about Simmons and his accusers. As Complex reminds us, Mo'Nique and Winfrey have some history of animosity that goes back to 2009.

As a mother of three, Duchess Kate's already a pro when it comes to interacting with kids. But her nationwide, nationwide "5 Big Questions on the Under Fives" survey, intended to increase "conversation on raising the next generation," might be giving her even more of a boost. On Tuesday, Feb. 4, for example, the Zara clad duchess was visiting South Wales with Prince William when she reportedly had a sweet exchange with a little girl named Annabel who was "really excited to meet a real princess." The girl's mom told People Kate offered the perfect response, telling her, "I'm sorry I'm not wearing a pretty dress today." According to Annabel's mom, the little girl "then said that she thought she'd look like Cinderella," adding that Kate was "very, very natural and lovely and sweet with the children."

Joaquin Phoenix could use a quick lesson on interacting with British royals, but we secretly hope he doesn't get one. Because a video from the BAFTAs that showed him nervously — and rather adorably — presenting Prince William with a curtsey rather than the "subtle head nod" men are apparently expected to give royals was one of the highlights of the awards. William, for his part, moved past the awkward moment with grace befitting of his title and simply told Joaquin he was great in "Joker," though he "put it off and put it off watching it," after being warned he should "be careful" about the timing of watching the scary flick. "But when I did it blew my mind," William said (via the Daily Mail), "… it was really good."

Megan Thee Stallion throws cold water on G-Eazy romance rumors

Like the song says, "a kiss is just a kiss …" Megan Thee Stallion hopped on Twitter this week to shut down rumors she's dating G-Eazy after a video of him kissing her during a Super Bowl party went viral. "Lol alright nowww y'all got all y'all jokes out," she wrote on Twitter on Tuesday, Feb. 4, "but I am not f—ing G Eazy." Some fans weren't satisfied with the Houston rapper's claim, though. Asked why G-Eazy "sucked the makeup off ur right cheek" if the two aren't involved, Megan brushed it off — while giving Rihanna's makeup line a shoutout by suggesting he must "like Fenty." G-Eazy, Page Six notes, shared a photo of himself with Megan on Instagram from the weekend, complete with four blue heart Emojis in the caption.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus: Trump's 'great state of Kansas' tweet would have been great 'Veep' fodder

Every once in a while, some tidbit comes out of the White House that makes Julia Louis-Dreyfus pine for "Veep." Donald Trump's tweet congratulating "the great state of Kansas" after the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl was one such tidbit. Julia stopped by "Ellen" this week to promote "Downhill," her new film with Will Ferrell. But she couldn't help but admit she got nostalgic about the writing opportunity that Trump's gaffe would have offered her "Veep" team were it still in action. The tweet itself — "You represented the Great State of Kansas and, in fact, the entire USA, so very well. Our Country is PROUD OF YOU!" — was edited 12 minutes after it went to live to correct the state to Missouri. "It would be really fun to script those 12 minutes between him launching the tweet and it getting deleted," Julia mused, according to USA Today. "What an idiot! Idiot. It's so humiliating," she added. "Downhill" hits the big screen on Feb. 14.
