Candace Cameron-Bure addresses Lori Loughlin scandal
Candace Cameron-Bure is doubling down on sentiments she seemed to express about Lori Loughlin at the Kids' Choice Awards when "Fuller House" won for Favorite Funny TV Show. After Candace told fans that "a loving family sticks together no matter what," including "the hard times," during the cast's acceptance speech, it was widely assumed she was referencing the college admissions scandal Lori and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, are headed to court over this week. During an appearance on the Tuesday, April 2, edition of "Today," Candace addressed the scandal more directly, saying she and her cast mates will "always be there for each other," according to People. "It's too personal to us and we would never want to talk about someone that's such a dear and close friend," she continued. "I've already said that we are family and we stand by each other and pray for each other and we'll always be there for each other." Lori and Mossimo, along with Felicity Huffman and 48 others, have been indicted in an alleged scheme to fraudulently buy their kids' way into college. The fallout from Lori's arrest has left her — and her Youtuber / social media tastemaker daughter, Olivia Jade — with multiple canceled gigs. A source tells People the whole family are remaining off the radar as much as possible ahead of their first court date on Wednesday, April 3.

Ariana Grande responds to questions about whether she identifies as bisexual
Did Ariana Grande just announce she's bisexual? That's what fans on social media were wondering on Monday, April 1, after the singer released her newest song, "Monopoly." The track is another collaboration with Ariana's close friend, Victoria Monet, who wrote multiple songs on the "Thank U, Next," album, according to Page Six. Victoria came out as bisexual in November, which could explain the line fans are zeroing in on, "I like women and men (yeah)." But both she and Ariana sing the lyric and closer to the end of the song, Ariana sings it alone. As comments like, "We stan a bisexual queen," and, "But sis did you come out," flooded Twitter, Ariana was initially quiet. After spotting a response that read, "ariana ain't gotta label herself, but she said what she said," the singer chimed in. "I haven't before and still don't feel the need to now," she said, "which is okay."
Sophia Hutchins praises her 'amazing, loving partner,' Caitlyn Jenner
Caitlyn Jenner, 69, threw her live-in partner, Sophia Hutchins a 23rd birthday at their mansion in Malibu over the weekend and her efforts didn't go unnoticed. After Caitlyn joked on Instagram that there were "so few candles" on her significant other's cake, Sophia shared a longer Instagram message about the people she keeps close in her life as she gets older. "I have chosen to be very intentional about the people I surround myself with," she wrote on Monday, April 1. "Surround yourself with those that inspire, those that are beautiful, those that are genuine, those that empower you, and those that choose love. I am so lucky to have the friends, team, and amazing loving partner I have. I cannot wait to share this year with all of these people and so many more that wouldn't fit in this collage! Thanks for making my bday so special!" Neither Caitlyn nor Sophia have ever defined their relationship as being romantic, but Sophia has said she and Caitlyn are "partners in everything we do."

Beyonce 'prays for' Nipsey Hussle's family as new information about his murder surfaces
As the music world continues to mourn Nipsey Hussle — Beyonce recently posted in his honor that she was "praying with every ounce of my heart" for the slain rapper's family — TMZ is reporting there was concern ahead of his death that someone might try to kill him. Last week, the 33-year-old musician and social activist shot a video Khaled's new album on a set in a parking garage in the Inglewood section of Los Angeles. According to sources who were there, those around Nipsey expressed concern about his safety and wanted to keep the whole building closed during filming to prevent anyone from coming inside. They reportedly settled on allowing the lower floors to remain open but brought 10 armed police officers onto the set to make sure no one was able to sneak in and attempt to kill him. Having grown up in South Los Angeles with gang ties, Nipsey has been a vocal advocate against gun and gang violence. He was due to meet with the LAPD this week to discuss possible reform measures.
Christie Brinkley marks 25th anniversary of helicopter crash: 'Each day is a gift'
Despite her seemingly ageless appearance, Christie Brinkley is very much aware of the passage of time. This week, the 65-year-old supermodel shared a throwback People cover from April 1994, that detailed the events surrounding a helicopter crash she nearly died in 25 years ago. "Not a day goes by that I have not counted my blessing for being alive," she captioned the post (via Page Six). "I know for a fact that tomorrow is not a guarantee and that each day is a gift and an opportunity to make sure that everybody we love knows it!" The accident reportedly took place on a mountain in Telluride, Colorado, where Christie and five others were trapped for hours following the crash. Christie managed to escape with only minor injuries, though the People cover shows she was still wearing a splint on her wrist for the photo shoot.
Tracy Morgan calls out Jussie Smollett on 'The Tonight Show'
It took Tracy Morgan less than two minutes to take a dig at Jussie Smollett during Tracy's appearance on "The Tonight Show" this week. Asked about his "new gig," Tracy told Jimmy Fallon, "Yeah, they gave me a role on 'Empire,'" then added, "Contractually, they gave me millions of dollars. Contractually, all I gotta do is not fake a hate crime." He chuckled, then turned to no one in particular and spat out, "Jussie!" The "Last O.G." star went on to question aspects of Jussie's claim he was attacked in a homophobic and racially motivated incident in January in Chicago while getting a sandwich at Subway at 2 a.m. "C'mon," Tracy said (via Page Six). "First of all, racist people don't be jumping nobody in the polar vortex. It's too cold, we be racist in the spring.'" The late-night snack seemed to be a questionable element of Jussie's claim for Tracy, too, given reports Jussie was still holding the Subway goods when he spoke to police. Said Tracy: "He didn't let that Subway sandwich go!"
Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka celebrate their 15-year anniversary
Love was definitely in the air on Monday April 1, for Neil Patrick Harris and his husband, chef David Burtka. The couple, who wed in 2014, both shared sweet posts about the anniversary of their first date, which ET reports they celebrated with dinner at Manhatta in New York City. "My first date with David was 15 years ago today, and we've been nearly inseparable ever since," NPH wrote alongside a selfie from the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. "I'm so, so grateful to this gorgeous man for giving me his heart, his shoulder, his strength, his lust, his laughter, his joy," Neil continued. "He's an actor, chef, author, singer, producer, and the most wonderful, selfless parent I've ever seen. A sextuple threat, if you will. And I most certainly will. Happy 15th Anniversary, @dbelicious," Harris continued. "You keep making all my dreams come true. #love." David, who surprised his husband with their dinner date for the occasion, posted an equally love-filled note commemorating their anniversary. "Fifteen years ago Neil Patrick Harris and I met on the street. From that day he has made my world a better place," he wrote. "Thank you @nph for the best years of my life. I can't believe how fast 15 years have gone. Happy Anniversary! I can't wait to keep on laughing, playing and loving for years to come. #15yearchallenge #lifeisaparty." In the coments, NPH replied, "You're the sweetest! I love you!" The pair share 8-year-old twins Harper and Gideon.
Mick Jagger's tour insurance likely prevents him from getting back onstage after heart surgery: Report
After the Rolling Stones indefinitely paused their No Filter tour due to Mick Jagger's upcoming heart surgery, insiders told Page Six the 75-year-old singer is due to have a stent inserted "to prop up at least one of his arteries." It seems the procedure is relatively routine and many patients can "be back at work within weeks," according to one source, but "because the health checks are all set into the insurance for the tour," the band may simply need to be extra "careful." Meanwhile, the tab notes Mick's booze and drug loving bandmate, Keith Richards has shown almost no signs of diminished health in spite of the fact the 75-year-old only got clean about a year ago. Mick reportedly maintains a serious exercise schedule and an organic meal plan. Keith, who said he snorted his father's ashes (cut with cocaine, of course), wrote in his memoir, "Life" that he was lucky with drugs because he was getting pharmaceutical grade versions.
Lisa Vanderpump doubts there's a future for her and the rest of the 'RHOBH' cast
Lisa Vanderpump doesn't see her friendships — or is that frenemy-ships? — with the other "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" ever recovering from "puppygate." "I stopped filming halfway through the season," Lisa recently told ET. "When you are a woman of integrity, and you're a woman that works really hard and is very compassionate, and is very principally minded, and they keep coming at you and ganging up on you, I don't know…" The ganging up, of course, came after cast members accused Lisa of leaking a story about Dorit Kemsley's dog adoption process gone wrong to the press. Lisa, who has denied she leaked anything, says she gave up on everyone when they refused to believe her. "I didn't integrate with the other women after they constantly called me a liar," she said. "I felt that once somebody says, I swear on my children's life, as you saw [in the fight], I would never question that, I just wouldn't. So, for me, unless the dynamic changed radically, I don't want people in my life that question me." She has not yet said whether she'll participate in the all-cast reunion, set to be filmed in a few months.
