When the AP projected Joe Biden and Kamala Harris the winners of the 2020 election on Saturday, Nov. 7, social media platforms exploded with memes celebrating the Vice President-elect, in particular. That's because their victory made the 56-year-old California Senator not only the first woman on a winning presidential ticket — but also the first Black woman and the first South Asian woman to be elected Vice President of the United States — a Veep hat-trick for the history books.
