Charlize Theron's OCD makes her a tough relationship partner
She's gorgeous, smart and talented, but it turns out Charlize Theron might not be the ideal girlfriend or wife. When the 43-year-old "Long Shot" actress and her costar, Seth Rogen, checked with James Corden on "The Late Late Show" this week, Charlize revealed she has some quirks that make her "really hard to be in a relationship with," according to the Daily Mail. "I'm very OCD, I don't like the idea of having too much stuff — or stuff that I don't use — it really bothers me, yes," she admitted, sharing an example of how she once tossed her man's shoes. "I was in a relationship and whenever this person went out of town, I couldn't help myself. I needed to get kind of rid of — listen, I was being helpful, I think — because men's shoes are tricky," she said. "He had very tricky shoes and when he was out of town, I would get rid of the tricky shoes and he would come home and within two hours say, 'Where are my straw shoes?' And I'm like, 'Did you just hear yourself? You're wearing straw shoes — no grown man should wear straw shoes' … and he had like the clown patch shoes, the fabric patch," she continued. That's when Seth broke in to say exactly what was on our minds: "I'm amazed you dated this person!" Alas, she didn't say if said poor shoe taste dude was one of her famous exes, who have included Sean Penn, Keanu Reeves and Brad Pitt.

Sophie Turner confirms she married Joe Jonas in Las Vegas after the Billboard Awards
In case there was any question, yes, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are married — and yes, they did it in Vegas. Chatting with a reporter for a Louis Vuitton YouTube video about her prep for the 2019 Met Gala, Sophie rather adorably confirmed the news. "Camp is, um, hard to define," she says in the clip (via Us Weekly) ahead of the "Camp: Notes on Fashion"-themed bash. "Let me give you an example of camp," she offered. "I think camp is, um, getting married in Vegas last minute after the Billboard Music Awards [because] that would be fun. I'd like to try that. That's camp." She then winked, sealing the news that she and Joe had done just that. "I can't keep a secret …," she joked at the end of the clip. "Whatever."

George Clooney hopes press will be kinder toward Duchess Meghan now that she's a mom
While Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry basked in the glow of their newly minted status as parents on Tuesday, May 7, their pals, George Clooney and Amal Clooney, hit the red carpet in Los Angeles for the premiere of George's new film adaptation of "Catch-22." Asked by the Associated Press about Meghan and Harry's baby news, he warned that the press and others should start being more kind toward since "she's a young woman who just had a baby." Speaking to ET, the star opened up about life with Amal their own little ones, 1-year-old twins, Alex and Ella, in the context of his cranky character in the film, whom he apparently doesn't share much with, anger-wise. "I'm not mad at anything," he said. "I got a brilliant, beautiful wife, I got two knuckleheads for kids, life's great." As for the kids? "They're good. They're fat!" he said, adding with a chuckle, " to keep 'em quiet, you feed 'em." Words of wisdom.

Kim Kardashian couldn't sit in her Met Gala corset
PSA: Kim Kardashian West did not, we repeat, did not wake up like this. Nor did she have ribs removed. The reality star's crazy curvy Met Gala figure — and look, in general — was the result of a waist training corset, topped off by her wet-looking Thierry Mugler dress. As Kim explains in a new video posted on Vogue.com, the corset was made by famed corset designer Mr. Pearl — and it was laced so tightly she couldn't sit down. "OK, so Anna, if I don't sit down for dinner, now you know why," she says to Anna Wintour in the video. "I'll be walking around mingling, talking, but I cannot hardly sit. I can only half-sit." Her dress designer, meanwhile, ditched his retirement to make the dress for Kim, who, along with Kanye West, thought he was perfect for a camp theme. "He is, like, the king of camp … he invented camp," she says. Kanye apparently told his lady he wanted to "fade out into the background and just be your date and let you shine." Her shine, by the way, came with no small amount of work, either. She says she had "three facials, a spray tan, a Korean body scrub and more," according to Page Six. "Literally every single day, whatever beauty treatment you can think of, I got," said Kim.
Halle Berry explains why she won't show her children's full faces on social media
The way Halle Berry sees it, her kids should get control of the green light when it comes to revealing their identities on social media. The mother of two, who tends not to worry about hiding much of her own face or bod when posting selfies, stopped by the "Today" show on Wednesday, May 8, to promote, "John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum," which opens next week. But she also got candid about her reasons for keeping the full faces of her son Maceo-Robert, 5½, and daughter Nahla Ariela, 11, out of view over the years. Calling it a "safety issue," she explained: "I just don't want to plaster them all over the internet. That just doesn't feel right for me. They're gonna do that soon enough. That's gonna be their life when they grow up, and they will choose when that starts. I've fought really hard to protect their privacy, and I just want them to have their life and have it be theirs." According to People, Halle shared a photo that showed a side profile of Maceo-Robert's face in July during a family vacation. "That was a struggle," she told "Extra" at the time. "I really don't like to show my kids very much … but I do realize … my people are, like, solid for me and me for them and I feel like I want to include them. But it's a fine line because I don't want to exploit my children … I want to protect my children, so I thought, 'Half the face is good.'" A few years earlier, when she shared another photo that hid most of her kids' faces, an Instagram user demanded, "What's with the hiding of the faces? They're beautiful children why not show them off?" Halle replied: "I've noticed you have said this several times now so let me be clear — I'm not at all ashamed of [my] children. I try to find creative ways to incorporate them into my feed because they are the biggest part of my life, but I also work very hard to keep their identities as private as I can considering they are only children." She continued: "It's my belief, and I'm not criticizing others who have different beliefs, that it's my job as their mother to protect their privacy as best I can. When they grow and they're of age and they want [to] share their images on the internet, that will be for them to decide, not me. Feel me? Have a beautiful day."
Justin Bieber wants photographer lawsuit tossed
Justin Bieber has asked a Los Angeles court to dismiss a lawsuit filed against him by a photographer whom Justin reportedly swiped with his truck. In papers reviewed by The Blast , the singer maintains William Wilson has no case because in his negligence claim stemming from an incident in 2017 when Justin pulled out of parking spot at the Saban Theater after a Hillsong Church service. Justin says he did nothing wrong — at the time of the accident, he also told other paparazzi they made it difficult to drive when they all clustered around his car shooting flash bulbs. William, however, says he was knocked to the ground, suffered minor injuries and eventually developed "permanent disability and emotional damages." Police have said Justin complied with their requests after the accident. He also reportedly exited his vehicle after the man fell and stayed by his side until medics arrived. After a photographer was killed in an accident while chasing Justin in 2013, Justin sent his condolences to the family and called for better legislation to monitor the activity of paparazzi.
Olivia Jade splits from Jackson Guthy: Report
As Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli wait to learn if they'll get jail time for allegedly bribing their daughters' way into USC, their 19-year-old, Olivia Jade, is going through her own personal problems — and they're not all school related. According to Us Weekly, Olivia has split from her boyfriend, Jackson Guthy. "Olivia and Jackson have been cooling off for a couple months. They aren't together anymore, but are still very cordial and really do remain friends," says a source. Another insider says Jackson's been a big support to Olivia through her current ordeal. It hasn't always been easy, given the crazy amount of spotlight on them right now," said the second source. Lori and Mossimo pleaded not guilty to the fraud charges. They could face up to 40 years in prison, although new reports suggest there's a good chance they won't get jail time.
New 'Bachelorette' star Hannah Brown has quite the baby-making suitor …
It's a well-known fact that the crazier your backstory is the more likely you are to get good air time on a "Bachelor" Nation show. And we want to give one of "Bachelorette" star Hannah Brown's suitors the benefit of the doubt, so we'll go ahead and assume that's why he shared the following tidbit in his bio, which ABC released this week. It seems Atlanta's Matteo Valles, a 25-year-old management consultant, moonlights as a sperm donor. As he puts it in his bio (via Us Weekly), his role at the old sperm bank has "helped create 114 children for all types of families." Fans have already taken note of this distinguishing feature, although us notes he has a few others, including a childhood in which he traveled around the world before moving to Altanta and the questionable achievement of having once chugged a gallon of milk in 10 seconds during a talent show. He'd also like to someday take a lucky lady to a ball at a castle. Hannah, 24, appeared on Season 23 of "The Bachelor." She finished in seventh place. "The Bachelorette" Season 15 hits your TV Monday, May 13, at 8 p.m. ET.
Hilary Duff reveals why she stopped breastfeeding her daughter
Hilary Duff is no longer breastfeeding her 6-month-old daughter, Banks. She told fans about the change this week on Instagram, sharing an in-depth explanation about her decision to stop. For one thing, she said, she was pumping milk at work, which meant doing so in a trailer, "while four hands work to get me ready for the next scene with lots of other people around," which made an already uncomfortable situation even more challenging and time consuming, thanks to the need to store the sterilized bottles of milk. "I want to say I enjoyed (almost) every moment of feeding my daughter. Felt so lucky to be so close to her and give her that start. I know many women are not able to and for that I am sympathetic and very grateful that I could. For six wonderful months. But I needed a break. I was going to break," she admitted, according to E! News. She went on to say she also found herself feeling "sad and frustrated and feeling like a failure all of the time" when Banks wasn't into eating. "We are strong as hell over-achievers. I am amazed at all that we can do in one single day! That goes for myself, my mom friends, my mom, or my sister!" she said. "I wanted to share this because deciding to stop BFing was so emotional and hard. I thought about it ALL day everyday. It was a constant loop in my head. Weighing the pros and cons. And half of the time I wasn't making any sense. It was about me, and not Banks at that point." Weening off breastfeeding was hard, too, though. "I wasn't myself at all. Something scary was hovering over my brain and my heart…the part of me that I know is smart and rational. The lows felt horrible," she revealed. "I was missing good time with my baby. But I was really missing that natural oxytocin high. Those chemicals are powerful hormones and no joke," she continued. "I am happy to say that I haven't fed or pumped in three days and it's crazy how fast you can come out on the other side. I feel fine and happy and relieved and silly that I even stressed on it so hard. Banks is thriving and I get even more time with her and daddy gets to do more feeds! And mommy gets a tiny bit more sleep!" Hilary also included a shoutout to the superhero moms everywhere, who she credited for, "Always putting yourself last and running a mile a minute…while carrying all of the bags." The "Younger" star is also mom to son, Luca, whom she welcomed with Mike Comrie in 2012.
