Lori Loughlin is reportedly 'freaking out' about jail prospect

In today's college admissions scandal news … People reports former "Fuller House" star Lori Loughlin is starting to realize she's probably going to jail and she's less than pleased by that prospect. "Lori is finally realizing just how serious this is," an insider says of the conspiracy to commit mail fraud, honest services fraud and money laundering charges she and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli face for allegedly paying out bribes to get their daughters into U.S.C. "She is seeing the light that she will do jail time," the source adds, "and is freaking out." It seems Lori and Mossimo hadn't considered the possibility they could end up behind bars when they rejected their first plea deal offer. Lori also perhaps didn't consider that it looked a bit off for her to sign autographs outside the courtroom, which she did this week. "She was obviously extremely nervous and the actress side of Lori came out," said E!'s source. "She doesn't know how else to be in public. Her natural reaction was to just smile and try to be lighthearted. She's always been so well loved and charming, that's the part she knows how to play in public." Like a dozen other parents implicated in the scandal, Lori's actress peer, Felicity Huffman, took full responsibility for her crimes and agreed to a plea deal. Lori and Mossimo could reportedly face between 2 and 20 years behind bars. According to Page Six, the couple is now "engaged in strategy talks" with crisis manager Hunter Frederick, who has previous worked with stars like Lindsay Lohan and Gwyneth Paltrow when they were facing nasty image problems.

Blake must have been feeling a little more flirty or less sarcastic when she noticed the post, because rather than use the post as a launch pad for some new, hilarious dig, she simply pointed at his monster character and asked, "is it wrong to say i'd tap that?" The answer, it seems, was no. "This is easily the best fan-fiction I've ever read," Ryan replied (via the Daily Mail). At the end of that method Pokemon acting video, by the way, Ryan riffs on the ongoing joke by saying that one time he didn't pick up the daughters he shares with Blake from school because he wasn't Ryan, he had literally become his character. "The point is, my daughters, they may never their dad again, but you can be damn sure that they'll be looking up at that screen this summer and they'll be seeing 'Detective Pikachu," he tells the camera. In the clip, Blake just laughs and says, "We're not going."

On Wednesday, friends and family said their "goodbyes" in a private viewing at Angelus Funeral Home on Crenshaw Boulevard, according to TMZ. Like the Staples Center event, the viewing was reportedly run under tight security with a very small, "inner circle" invitee list, to protect mourners. By then, some 21,000 free tickets to the Staples Center event had already been snapped up within minutes, the website reports.

Like folks all around the world, Olivia Munn couldn't contain her enthusiasm about the groundbreaking scientific advancement that allowed us to see a black hole for the first time in history this week. She was so excited, in fact, that when an Instagram user challenged the wording of her post about the news, she quickly turned the tables, pointing out the user's basic error and suggesting he climb inside the expanse of nothingness. "We got the first-ever image of a black hole because of an amazing team led by MIT grad student Katie Bouman, who helped create the algorithm that made the image possible," Olivia wrote on Instagram on Tuesday, April 10. "The algorithm stitches together a network of eight linked telescopes that form the Event Horizon Telescope. Congratulations and THANK YOU, Katie! You're an inspiration to so many people." While many comments on the post were of the "yeah, science!" variety, some shouted out the fact that "a woman did that," since science and math have long been notoriously male-dominated fields, some users griped that Katie's gender was even being mentioned.
