Chrissy Teigen takes on troll who claims she plagiarized a banana bread recipe
Less than a week after criticism from food writer Alison Roman sent Chrissy Teigen into a brief Twitter hiatus, she returned, only to face a new round of disses. On Monday, May 11, the cookbook author found herself on the defensive after spotting a claim she stole the banana bread recipe that appears in her 2018 release, "Cravings." "You can't cook or not copy someone's idea from their cookbook!" the tweet, posted by @buckwheat1939, began (via ET). " It's copying even tho you changed one thing! Come up with your own s—! Ya f**ing bum!" The user went on to claim Chrissy had ripped the recipe off from someone named "Chef Mike," tweeting: "Chef Mike saw your s— and might file a suit! I just saw you review and he called me! Stick with your Phillipino s—." No stranger to trolls or clapbacks, Chrissy replied: "No idea who chef mike is but he probably wouldn't be happy to learn that you, a friend of his worthy of calling, is outing him about his impending lawsuit." Alas, this only sparked another tirade from the user, who told her to "use YOUR talents and not others," or "atleast credit the person or persons the idea came from." The person went on to say "Chef Mike" contacted them "because his NY restaurant is closed and was reading the article about you and that sparked his rage," then wrote, "Yes, he cooked for your family too. I told him he should do a virtual restaurant show, to show the cooking to table and how things work." At that point, Chrissy requested contact information for the allegedly enraged chef. "Please tell me who this chef mike is? so I can speak to him?" she asked. "I have never stolen a recipe from anyone and I actively talk about the restaurants I love," she added, before getting one final jab in: "Imagine the ego to think someone is copying you when they haven't heard of you?"

Expectant parents Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are waiting out NYC's lockdown in rural Pennsylvania
As Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik prepare to become parents for the first time, they're taking it easy on the former One Direction singer's farm in rural Pennsylvania, according to Page Six. The farm is reportedly near Gigi's mom, Yolanda Hadid's farm in the artsy town of New Hope, about an hour north of Philadelphia. "[The farm] is just out of the way and feels grounded," Zayn told Billboard back in 2017. "There's not a lot of things around. I do a lot of farm work. Yeah, yeah, I take the horses out and feed the cows and that kind of stuff." The couple has reportedly been spending time with Yolanda — whose own farm boasts cattle, sheep and chickens — while they're nearby. Their daughter is due in September.

Tina Fey's daughter calls her mom a 'loser' on national TV
The perils of working from home, when home includes an 8-year-old … Tina Fey was chatting with Seth Meyers about the "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" Netflix special on "Late Night" this week when her daughter, Penelope, interrupted to share a special report from the world of 8-year-olds. "Please hold, there's a colonial lady coming in," Tina told Seth when she spotted Penelope walking into her office (via People). "Yes, can I help you?" The two paused. "I'm sorry, you're not making sound. What?" Tina asked. "We're taping a television program right now, do you need something?" Now in view of the camera, Penelope then delivered her breaking news — in the form of a thumb and finger-made "L," which she slowly put up on her forehead. "You're calling me a loser?" Tina clarified as Penelope burst out laughing. "She just called us losers!" Tina marveled. Then, as Penelope darted out of the room, the "30 Rock" creator held an "L" of her own on her forehead and hollered, Liz Lemon-style, "This meant 'loyalist' in colonial times, so that's on you!"
Why Anderson Cooper asked his ex to co-parent his new son Wyatt
Anderson Cooper wants to ensure his new son, Wyatt, gets all the built-in family love he can. The 52-year-old first-time dad, whose own dad died when he was 10, followed by his mother and brother years later, also wants Wyatt to have someone to lean on besides himself, just in case. Those are two of the reasons he's asked his ex, Benjamin Maisani, to help him raise his son. "I don't really have a family and so my friends become my family," Anderson told Howard Stern this week, according to USA Today. "This is somebody I was involved with for 10 years," the CNN anchor continued. "He's a great guy. We didn't work out as a couple, but I want somebody – when I was a little kid, it was just my mom and my brother. My mom was not the most parental person and I wished some adult, after my dad died, had stepped in and been like, 'You know what? I'll take you to a ballgame,' or 'let's go out to lunch every now and then and just talk.' No one ever did that and so I thought if something ever happens to me, or even if something doesn't happen to me, if more people love my son and are in his life, I'm all for that. My ex is a great guy and I think it's good to have two parents, if you can." Asked what Wyatt will call his fathers, Anderson said he's planning to be "Dad" or "Daddy." Benjamin will be "Papa," since he's French and is "already speaking French to" Wyatt, according to Anderson. "I have no idea what he's saying," Anderson added, joking, "… he could be turning the kid against me, I don't know."
Prince Harry and Prince William are reportedly back in touch
After months of rumored tension, the relationship between Prince Harry and his brother, Prince William, is reportedly improving. Royal expert and author Katie Nicholl tells ET "things have gotten better" between the siblings in the wake of their father, Prince Charles' battle with COVID-19. "There have been clearly some quite major rifts in that relationship, but things have got better and I know that William and Harry are in touch on the phone," Katie says. "They have done video calls together, they have done a lot of family birthdays and I think with Prince Charles not being well, that really forced the brothers to pick up the phone and get back in touch." Rumors of a rift between the two began prior to Harry and Duchess Meghan's relocation to North America, but the move may have ultimately contributed to Harry and William's decision to move past their issues. Harry has been feeling homesick while living in Los Angeles, according to Katie, while William and Duchess Kate "miss Harry [being] around and part of their lives."
Reese Witherspoon is returning to RomCom-land
On the heels of a "CBS Sunday Morning" segment about the success of Reese Witherspoon's production company, Hello Sunshine, Deadline is reporting the star's slated to return to the rom-com genre with two new Netflix projects. Reese will star in and co-produce both "The Cactus," based on Sarah Haywood's bestseller about a woman whose unexpected pregnancy at 45 forces her to rethink her highly structured life, according to the outlet. In "Your Place or Mine," a pair of best friends' lives change for good when one takes over temporary parenting duties for the other's teenage son so she can follow her lifelong dream. "Both Sarah Haywood's and Aline Brosh McKenna's stories blend everything we love about traditional RomComs with strong, smart and determined female leads," Reese said in a statement. Jason Bateman is slated to co-produce "You Place or Mine" with Reese and Michael Costigan, whose credits include "Dumplin'" and "The Outsider."
Patti Lupone talks 'Hollywood' sex scenes
At 71, Patti Lupone is tired of seeing women her age portrayed as if they don't have sex lives. That was part of what drew her to Ryan Murphy's "Hollywood" miniseries, in which she plays Avis Amberg, a woman who goes after what she wants in both her career — and her bed. "I was so thrilled when Ryan said there'll be sex scenes and I went, 'Finally,'" she gushed to Elle. "Women get cast as mothers or grandmothers at my age. Oh no, we've still got sexual desire. We're still desirable. Why not? So I'm so thrilled." While Pattii's racier love scenes mostly co-star David Corenswet, the Tony Award-winning Broadway veteran also revealed she filmed (at least) one similarly sexy moment with another easy-on-the-eyes, younger male actor. "There was a sex scene, I'm sorry to say, that was cut out that I had with Dylan [McDermott]," Patti teased. "It was very exciting!" As of early May, "Hollywood" was not expected to return for a second season, despite its strong ratings.
'Friends' reunion gets a tentative release date
The much-anticipated "Friends" reunion was delayed by the coronavirus pandemic, but it looks like it might get a real-life "Friends"-appropriate air date. Speaking to Maria Menounos on a recent edition of her "Better Together" podcast, Kevin Bright said HBO Max hopes to release the show by Thanksgiving — just in time for Jennifer Aniston's annual "Friendsgiving" dinner, which her former "Central Perk" pals seem to turn out for, year after year. "We're waiting for a window. We feel the reunion needs to be done in front of an audience. We can't not share it after all this time," Kevin explained, according to The Independent. "So, tentatively speaking, we're hoping that the special will be completed by Thanksgiving and that the show will be seen on HBO Max at that time." The producer also teased that the unscripted show will feature never-before-seen footage from the original series, which aired its finale in May 2004. The reunion is slated to be the first time Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry have come all back together on-camera since the long-running series ended.
