Another week, another batch of romance updates. Finally! After months and months of rumors, Amber Heard and Elon Musk have finally confirmed that they're dating. On April 23, Johnny Depp's ex-wife made things Instagram official when she posted a pic of herself and the Tesla and SpaceX billionaire out to dinner in Australia — and her red lipstick is clearly visible on his face. She captioned the snapshot, "Cheeky." He posted a similar pic from the same dinner. The same day, photographs emerged of the couple holding hands at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on Australia's Gold Coast (Amber is in the country shooting "Aquaman"), where they also went ziplining with two of Elon's six sons. TMZ reported on April 24 that "Grey's Anatomy" star Jesse Williams and his longtime love Aryn Drake-Lee, are divorcing. They were together for 13 years, married for nearly five, and have two young kids. Divorce papers were filed last week. "None of us saw this coming," a source close to the couple told People. "Jesse lived for her." The source believes that the couple's move from Brooklyn to Los Angeles for Jesse's acting career added to tensions in their relationship. On April 25, TMZ reported that Jesse has been separated from Aryn for more than a year and that he's been spotted spending time with Minka Kelly on and off the set of a video game/movie they're shooting in Paris "but no one's saying if it's anything more than a friendship," the site added.
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have been together for a few months now, but have you ever wondered how they actually started dating? Ellen DeGeneres pried it out of J.Lo during an April 24 visit to her talk show. It turns out that Jennifer and A-Rod were having lunch at the same Los Angeles restaurant. She saw him as he walked by and later approached him outside. "For some reason, I just felt like tapping him on the shoulder. And I said, 'Hi, Alex,' and he's like, 'Hi, Jennifer,' and I was like, 'Yeah' and then that was it," she said, laughing. "I mean, more stuff happened, but that's how we met." I said, 'What are you doing in L.A.?' and he said, 'I live out here now' and he said, 'What about you?' and I said, 'I've always lived out here.' … And then he was like, 'We should hang out,' and I said, 'okay.' He texted me, he said, 'Let's go out to dinner,' I said 'okay.' … We had a nice dinner." Ellen then asked, "And then a sleepover?" to which J.Lo responded, "No. Mama don't sleep over on the first date!"
Just a few weeks after reports surfaced in March claiming Kylie Jenner and Tyga were finally breaking up, both have been linked to new people. On April 16, Kylie posted an Instagram photo of herself and rapper Travis Scott hanging out at Coachella with the caption, "it's lit." Then on April 21, fans spotted Kylie at the second weekend of the music festival where some say they saw her holding hands with and kissing Travis. Then on April 25, Kylie and Travis sat together at an NBA playoff game in his hometown of Houston. As for Tyga, on April 20, he was photographed hugging Hooters waitress-turned-model Jordan Ozuna — who's previously been linked to Justin Bieber — as they left a dinner at Serafina in West Hollywood. But less than 24 hours later, Jordan denied reports that she was romantically involved with the rapper. "Omg y'all I'm not dating tyga.. come on," she tweeted along with some laughing-face emojis.
It looks like two television actors are getting back together. News of "The Vampire Diaries" actor Paul Wesley and "The Originals" actress Phoebe Tonkin's split was made public in early March, but according to an April 26 report from Us Weekly, they've found their way back to one another. The actors, who'd dated for four years, were spotted on a dinner date in early April and on April 26, she posted a photo of Paul on Instagram. A source told Us that the good-looking pair have been hooking up and are friendly again.
Ronda Rousey is a UFC superstar, a budding actress and now a bride to be. She and UFC fighter Travis Browne, who've been a couple since 2015, confirmed their engagement to TMZ on April 20. Travis said he popped the question about a week earlier under a waterfall in New Zealand during the pair's vacation Down Under. "It felt like the right place to do it," he said. They hope to wed "soon," Ronda told TMZ, "but I don't know what goes into planning a wedding. It could be, like, really easy. I don't really want a lot. We don't really need decorations or flowers, just somewhere to go and something to eat and people around."
Mary J. Blige's divorce from Kendu Isaacs has taken a nasty new turn: There are claims he cheated on her with her young protege, Starshell. In an April 25 report, sources told Page Six that the alleged infidelity occurred after Mary signed Starshell to her Matriarch Entertainment record label. In court papers, the R&B legend states that Kendu spent $420,000 on Starshell. "Everyone knew. Mary was the last to know, but it's like, how do you not know?" a source told Page Six. Mary often brought Starshell to red carpet and TV events to raise her profile. The source added, "It's really… low to have it done to her that way. Had it not been for Mary signing her, investing time and money… Because no one cared about her music." Kendu's lawyer told the newspaper, "Allegations that have been made about Kendu are false, unfair, mean-spirited and sad. The court can deal with it if it's relevant…" Mary filed for divorce in July 2016 after 13 years of marriage.
It's over for Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma. On April 20, E! News reported that the singer-actress and the producer had parted ways after just a few months of dating (they were first linked over Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend in January). An insider told E! that they called it quits in early March because of their busy schedules. Meanwhile, Hilary raised eyebrows when she was spotted working out with her ex-boyfriend, trainer Jason Walsh, in New York City on April 17. "They were playful with each other," an eyewitness told E! of the exes, who were also seen entering her apartment building together.
Ever wonder what celebrity couples did on their first date? Well, Kurt Russell just spilled on what happened when he and Goldie Hawn first got together more than three decades ago in the early '80s. He told the story during an appearance on Harry Connick Jr.'s talk show on April 21 — and it's a great story. They were co-starring in a WWII-era movie together, "Swing Shift," in which Kurt played a trumpet player. He said his moves needed some work and Goldie suggested they go somewhere and dance to swing music. "The Playboy Club was the only place that had that," Kurt recalled. "So we went to the Playboy Club and I just, immediately, was having a great time with this girl, Goldie… [But] there was no place to dance." They left, Kurt explained, though "we both agreed the night wasn't over yet." He then admitted "It's one of those stories that kind of sounds like, 'Gee, that was fast.' Well, it was. It happened fast." The next thing they knew, they were at the house Goldie was renovating — which happens to be where daughter Kate Hudson now lives. "We eventually found our way upstairs looking around at imaginary furniture and we were in the imaginary bedroom now and we're realistically having sex when the police walked in," he said, laughing. "We had to break into the place to get in so the next thing I [see] is a flashlight and Goldie and I are like, 'What?' It was bizarre and weird." Police told them to get a hotel room, which they did. "That was our first date," he added. "It was a lot of fun. I can't believe it was a long time ago."
It's hard to keep up with this roller coaster romance, but it seems that Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are, once again, back on. On April 19, the pair enjoyed a fun and flirty dinner date at TAO in Los Angeles and shared video clips and images from their night on social media. One video shows Rob's hand on Chyna's thigh. He can be heard calling her "baby" in another. And in a clip posted after their date, Rob jokingly tells Chyna that her purple hair "looks ugly." True romance, right? Just a few days later on the April 23 episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," which appeared to have been filmed in December after Rob and Chyna split then reconciled following a blowout fight, Rob's sisters lamented what Khloe described as their "toxic relationship." Rob told them to "stop being stupid" but Kim insisted they just want what's best for their brother. "I've always felt that them as a couple just isn't that healthy, and I think they know that too," she said. "Rob can be really irrational and he just has to learn to really take responsibility for himself and not blame it on Chyna. This just all has to stop." She added, "It's so clear what this relationship is. They're just not meant to be with each other."
Kate Beckinsale's marriage is one step closer to being dissolved. Though she and director Len Wiseman split back in 2015 after 11 years of marriage, he didn't file for divorce until October 2016. On April 21, TMZ revealed that Kate had finally filed her response. In the documents, the actress said she wants to keep her jewelry and personal effects as well as all of her post-separation earnings and is reserving the right to ask for spousal support. Though neither she nor Len have yet listed a separation date, TMZ reported that the divorce is expected to go down with very little drama.
Who knew?! "The Real Housewives of New York City" star Sonja Morgan once dated not one but two major Hollywood movie stars. On the April 19 episode of "Watch What Happens Live," Sonja admitted she used to be hot and heavy with Jack Nicholson! She called the fling "so much fun." She explained, "Don't forget how old I am and don't forget those days before cell phones and the old answering machines!" When host Andy Cohen pressed her for more details, asking if she and Jack had more than one evening together, she replied, "One big sloppy mess whenever we could." A few days later on April 21, Sonja revealed her other Hollywood hookup: "Tinsley [Mortimer] said her celebrity crush was Owen Wilson, and I thought she said she dated him," Sonja told "Entertainment Tonight." "I go, 'Oh! I dated him too!' Out here [in Los Angeles]. Well, I met him in New York through some art friends, and then I also saw him while I was out here. Long time ago, a while ago." She gave more details on Jack too. "That was a period in time where we were all going out to clubs… we didn't have cell phones. You'd get home to your answering machine, then you go to the same club the next time. It's like a group thing that goes on for a few nights. [Jack] was a friend of my girlfriend, in fact. We were just being bad, you know? I had an Italian boyfriend at the time too."
Something might be brewing between "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Phaedra Parks and "Criminal Minds" hottie Shemar Moore. And they have Bravo's Andy Cohen to thank for it. During the second night of the "RHOA" reunion special, which aired on April 23, Phaedra was asked if she's seriously dating anyone. "I am not," she told Andy, but added, "Well, you hooked me up with somebody and we chat from now and then." Andy then somewhat incredulously asked, "Shemar Moore?" then inquired as to whether she would date the actor. She said simply, "We'll see…" The two first met while filming "Watch What Happens Live" in December 2016. On that episode, they flirted and even shared several passionate kisses.
