Celebs getting married in 2018

In November, the world learned that Prince Harry and "Suits" star Meghan Markle were officially engaged, sparking fresh rounds of gossip and inspiring countless royal wedding fantasies. The couple, who began dating in July 2016, have announced that they'll marry on May 19, 2018 at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. In honor of their upcoming nuptials, Wonderwall.com is taking a look at all the other celebrities who are (or are rumored to be) tying the knot in 2018. Attention "Game of Thrones" fans: Jon Snow is marrying a Wildling. Actually, Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, is marrying his former love interest on the show, Rose Leslie. The couple, who began dating in 2012, announced their engagement in September 2017 the old-fashioned way: with a "Forthcoming Marriages" ad in the Times of London newspaper. In October, he hinted that their wedding would take place in 2018: Kit revealed on "The Jonathan Ross Show" that he'd told a "GoT" producer the series would need to alter its filming schedule to accommodate his nuptials. "[The cast] have all got to be there," he explained, "so the whole thing has got to shut down."

In September 2017, "This Is Us" star Mandy Moore and musician Taylor Goldsmith, a member of the band Dawes, got engaged. The actress, who was previously married to rocker Ryan Adams, has said she's not interested in wearing a big white dress or having a big production of a wedding — but she is interested in moving things along. "It'll happen sooner rather than later. I'm not in any rush, but also I'm like, 'I wanna do it,'" she told E! News. "I don't need to wait, I don't need to have a long engagement. I'm not planning some giant, lavish affair. So I might as well just do it."

In a September 2017 interview with Ocean Drive magazine, Ricky Martin — who got engaged to artist Jwan Yosef in 2016 — revealed that they are hoping to tie the knot in early 2018. "Planning a wedding is super overwhelming," he said. "We want to do it right, hopefully next spring. We'll do the three-day event, as I call it. And we still don't know where we will do it — Los Angeles, Puerto Rico or in Sweden, where my fiance is from, or in Spain, where I am also from." No matter which location they decide on, one thing is for certain: The Latin superstar will release photos from their big day. "We're a modern family, and I think people need to see, and I want to normalize the beauty of our family," he added. "That's why I'm making it public and I am going to share my wedding with the world."

Maybe this is just wishful thinking, but we're hoping Miley Cyrus and her hunky Australian fiance, Liam Hemsworth, make it official in 2018. Though the pop star has claimed that at 25, she's too young to walk down the aisle, if there's anyone who lives life spontaneously, it's Miley.

On Oct. 27, 2017, Migos rapper Offset got down on one knee while he and girlfriend Cardi B were on stage performing in Philadelphia to ask for her hand in marriage. Cardi was visibly emotional during the proposal and said "yes." She's since revealed they're planning an epic wedding that she predicts will cost $1 million.

Kit Harington isn't the only "Game of Thrones" cast member with marriage on the horizon. Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark on the hit HBO show, accepted boyfriend Joe Jonas' proposal in October 2017. The couple, who dated for about a year before getting engaged, adopted a gorgeous Siberian husky pup together in September, which is yet another sign that they're in it for the long haul.

On Nov. 14, 2017, comedic actor and writer Keegan-Michael Key announced that his producer-director girlfriend, Elisa Pugliese, had accepted his marriage proposal. The star couldn't contain his excitement, sharing the news on Twitter alongside a photo of them together, saying, "She shows me every day that each one of us has the ability to help make the world a better place. I'm the luckiest man ever. She said yes!" The very same week, news broke revealing that his divorce from first wife Cynthia Blaise had been finalized, which means Keegan-Michael is free and clear to walk down the aisle again if he and Elisa choose to make things official in the New Year.

After a failed first marriage to Rebecca Romijn, John Stamos is taking the plunge again: He proposed to actress Caitlin McHugh in October, and she said yes. John went all out for the proposal, which took place at Disneyland. He arranged for a short video of all the most romantic Disney/Pixar moments to play on a large screen, ending with a famous scene from "The Little Mermaid." To help John out, Sebastian the crab held up a sign that read, "Go on and ask the girl" — and the "Fuller House" star got down on one knee and did exactly that. While John hasn't revealed when they'll wed, he has said that having kids is a priority, which makes us think they'll say "I do" sooner rather than later. "It would be a tragedy if I didn't have children and I finally found the right woman — the perfect woman," he told "Entertainment Tonight."

Uncle Jesse isn't the only "Full House" alum likely getting hitched in 2018. Bob Saget and Kelly Rizzo, a food and travel blogger and TV host, announced their engagement on Instagram on Nov. 7, 2017. The couple began dating in 2015, eight years after Bob's 1997 divorce. Bob's gushed about Kelly, claiming he never thought he'd find love again.

We're actually not certain actress Brie Larson and her musician fiance, Alex Greenwald, will tie the knot in 2018, but we're hopeful. The pair got engaged in May 2016 after a lengthy courtship, meaning the year ahead could be the perfect time for them to make things official.

One of our favorite "Saturday Night Live" cast members, Aidy Bryant, might just be walking down the aisle in 2018. In 2017, Aidy revealed that her boyfriend of nine years, former "Late Night With Seth Meyers" writer Conner O'Malley, popped the question at their home back in October 2016. Aidy initially thought the proposal was a joke, noting that the only planning Conner did involved putting a bow tie on their dog. Without any fanfare, he gave her a ring as soon as she walked in the door from work and asked her to marry him (while looking totally nervous). Of course she said "yes" and now we're all waiting for the big day to arrive.

Kirsten Dunst and her fiance, actor Jesse Plemons, are also expected to tie the knot in 2018. The couple, who met on the set of "Fargo" (they played married high school sweethearts), have been engaged since January 2017. Kirsten told Jimmy Fallon in June that the proposal was low-key, as she was actually sick at the time and in sweats. "But that's good," she said. "In sickness and in health, you know." In September, she revealed that she and Jesse had started planning their wedding. "I never thought I was that person who'd have a Pinterest board," she said on 'Live With Kelly & Ryan." "[But] it's really fun, and because we create it together from the beginning, it's a really nice thing to do together. It's going to be so personal and fun. We're having a really good time."

"Queen Sugar" actress Rutina Wesley shared the joyous news on Nov. 18, 2017, that she'd gotten engaged to her girlfriend, known only as Shonda, a New Orleans chef. The couple has not yet revealed when they'll walk down the aisle, but we're hoping it will happen soon. Although many publications indicated that the "True Blood" alum, who was previously wed to actor Jacob Fishel, also used her engagement announcement to come out, a closer look at the "True Blood" alum's Instagram feed shows previous photo posts featuring Chef Shonda, including one identifying her as "the sunshine of my life."

"Thank You For Your Service" star Miles Teller wins the award for picking the coolest spot to propose to his longtime girlfriend, model Keleigh Sperry. In August 2017, the couple went on an African safari to celebrate their four-year dating anniversary. That's when Miles secretly asked their tour guide to tie a rose to a nearby tree and when he brought Keleigh there, he produced a note which read, "This is the day you became my girlfriend and today was the last day you woke up as my girlfriend," before getting down on one knee and popping the question. In October, he told Us Weekly they want a small destination wedding. "It won't be in our backyard so we'll travel somewhere," he explained. "But we're figuring it out."

In June, "Arrow" actress Katie Cassidy revealed that while vacationing on Mauritius in the Indian Ocean, boyfriend Matthew Rodgers popped the question during a romantic dinner — and she said "yes." In October, she posted an Instagram photo from a Pronovias bridal fashion show along with the hashtag "#atelierpronovias2018," which certainly makes it seem like plans are afoot for a 2018 wedding.

Actor and pro wrestler John Cena presented a ring (that he designed) to his longtime girlfriend, wrestling diva Nikki Bella, in the ring during WrestleMania 33 on April 2, 2017. In August, Nikki told People magazine that she'd already chosen her dress (it's Marchesa), had decided on a black-tie dress code and was even planning a 10-day bachelorette party getaway in France. But in October, she revealed she and John had recently changed the date and location of their nuptials due to their busy schedules. Here's hoping they're still planning to get hitched in 2018!

Oscar-nominated actress Felicity Jones and her film director boyfriend, Charles Guard, got engaged in May 2017. While Felicity's remained tight-lipped about the engagement and upcoming wedding, she has hinted in the past about her desire to have children, saying, "I feel like we're in a new era, where it is empowering rather than limiting to have children… From what I can see from friends and relatives, women get stronger and more decisive from having children."

Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton (aka Baby Spice) and her long-term partner, Jade Jones, with whom she shares two sons, have been together for nearly two decades and have been engaged since 2011. In 2017, Emma suggested she might just finally be ready to walk down the aisle. When asked about marrying Jade, a former R&B singer who later trained as a chef, Emma coyly responded, "That would be nice, wouldn't it?" That's all we have, but it's enough to hope there might be wedding bells for the couple in 2018.

British actor Jack Donnelly took Beyonce's advice and put a ring on it ("it" being girlfriend Malin Akerman's finger) in October 2017. The "Billions" actress, who has a son from her first marriage, shared the news on Instagram alongside their smiling picture, writing, "This sweet and loving man has stepped into our lives and stole both our hearts! I think we're gonna keep him around for a while 😉 #engaged #isaidyes #jackdonnelly #family #yes."

In July 2017, country music singers Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd upgraded their relationship status to officially engaged. Ryan proposed on a fishing boat out on the lake near his family's home in Michigan while fireworks lit up the night sky. The couple began dating in December 2015 and Maren claimed she had "no idea" the proposal was coming. Now they're aiming for a springtime wedding so that they can kick off their 2018 touring season as husband and wife.

Former "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Camille Grammer (who might be returning to the series in 2018) confirmed in October that she and lawyer David C. Meyer are engaged. It will be the second marriage for both. Camille was previously married to actor Kelsey Grammer (with whom she shares two children) from 1997 to 2011.

Victoria's Secret model Chanel Iman and her boyfriend, New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard, got engaged on Dec. 2, 2017. Sterling's proposal, which happened just one day after Chanel's 27th birthday, comes a little more than a year after the couple began dating. Perhaps they'll wed after a similar-length engagement?

If there's any celebrity wedding we hope to see in 2018, it's that of Keven Undergaro and TV host Maria Menounos, who got engaged in 2016 after nearly 19 years together. While the couple has yet to reveal if they've picked a wedding date, their most recent year together might be the nudge they need to get to the altar. A short while after Maria's mom was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer, Maria herself was diagnosed with a golf ball-sized brain tumor. In June 2017, the former "E!" and "Access Hollywood" host underwent surgery to remove it — she was given a positive prognosis — and afterward revealed that Keven had been a constant, loving presence throughout her ordeal. These two definitely deserve a fairy tale wedding.

On singer Michelle Branch's 34th birthday, her boyfriend, Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney, popped the question right before she blew out her birthday candles. Michelle shared the exciting news on Instagram along with a picture of her gorgeous art-deco engagement ring on July 3, 2017, explaining how the proposal happened, adding "…34 might be the best year yet."
