It's "off" again for off-and-on couple Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. "They weren't getting along and decided to take a break," an insider told People magazine as part of a March 8 report. "It doesn't seem like a big deal and they will probably be fine soon again." A few days later, People cleared up early reports claiming that Selena's mom, Mandy Teefey — who's been vocal about her disapproval of her daughter's rekindled relationship with the trouble-prone pop star — caused the split. "They're not on a break because of her relationship with her mom. They have their own issues and are always on-and-off," said a source. "[Selena] wouldn't base her relationship off of what her mom thinks." The source added that in spite of their current relationship status, the duo spent part of Justin's March 1 birthday together. "They've been having disagreements, but it wouldn't be surprising if they're back together in a week," said the insider.

On March 6, an Italian newspaper revealed that in 2015, during a period of separation, Colin Firth's wife, Livia Giuggioli, had a yearlong relationship with Italian journalist Marco Brancaccia, whom she accused of stalking her after she called off the romance to reunite with her husband. "A few years ago Colin and Livia privately made the decision to separate. During that time Livia briefly became involved with former friend Mr. Brancaccia. The Firths have since reunited," said a statement obtained by People magazine and published on March 12. "Subsequently, Mr. Brancaccia carried out a frightening campaign of harassment over several months, much of which is documented. For obvious reasons, the Firths have never had any desire to make this matter public." Marco allegedly emailed Colin detailing the affair — he also reportedly sent the Oscar winner photos of Livia. "The email was a detailed diatribe, humiliated Colin and was designed with no other motive than to wound," a source told The Daily Mail and Mail Online as part of a March 8 report. "He described intimate meetings that would devastate any husband — no matter what the state of their marriage. And he did so with the misguided and hopeless belief he could destabilize the efforts being made by Colin and Livia to sort things out. Colin presented this to his wife in what must have been a very difficult confrontation. But he is the man that he is and has maintained his dignity throughout." Livia has also accused Marco of harassing her via calls and texts, of threatening to write compromising articles about her and the English actor and of following her, which prompted her and her husband to go to the police. For his part, Marco told People that he and Livia had "an 11-month love affair" and that he has "never threatened Livia or any other member of her family." Said the journalist, "We would try and see each other as often as we could as it was a real love affair, for the two of us." When he discovered that his ex had accused him of stalking her, he filed a counterclaim in Italy alleging that Livia falsely accused him of a crime. He's suggested that she made up the stalking claims as a cover for their affair.

On March 13, following a report in The Sun that they'd parted ways, Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid confirmed on social media they'd called it quits after more than two years as a couple. "Gigi and I had an incredibly meaningful, loving and fun relationship and I have a huge amount of respect and adoration for Gigi as a woman and a friend. She has such an incredible soul. I'm grateful to all of our fans for respecting this difficult decision and our privacy at this time, we wish this news could have come from us first. We love you all," tweeted the singer. "Breakup statements often seem impersonal because there is really no way to put into words what two people experience together over a few years .. not only in the relationship, but in life in general. I'm forever grateful for the love, time and life lessons that Z and I shared. I want nothing but the best for him and will continue to support him as a friend that I have immense respect and love for. As for the future, whatever's meant to be will always be. xG," tweeted the model. The British tabloid reported that the former couple parted ways earlier this month: "They are no longer a couple but they do remain close and are supportive of each other," a source told The Sun. "The reality is that they've grown apart, having been together for a long time. They have crazy work schedules that would put pressure on any relationship." Added the source, "This is definitely the end for now, but this isn't a bitter split and they both have respect for each other. It's a mutual decision so no one has completely ruled out a reunion in the future, but for now that's not where their heads are at." The off-and-on duo faced speed bumps in their relationship in mid-2016, but there were rumors that they were headed to the altar in January 2017.

"[They] looked like they were on a date. They shared a bottle of red wine and were flirty and intimate with each other, at times in deep conversation and at times laughing," said an onlooker. Before her meetup with the A-list actor, Amber reportedly ran into her ex-boyfriend, Elon Musk, at an Oscar party for the William Morris Endeavor Entertainment talent agency — where they reportedly avoided each other. "Amber showed up in the same dress she wore to the WME party for her date with Sean. She looked beautiful and seemed happy, even if she may have avoided a run-in with Elon earlier in the night," added the Page Six source.
As she did when she was linked to Chris Pratt in January, Olivia Munn took to Instagram on March 9 to shoot down reports that she's dating Justin Theroux. The actress shared screen grabs of her conversation with her publicist, who texted her, "In Touch is preparing a story about Olivia Munn and Justin Theroux. Sources tell In Touch Olivia and Justin are growing close together and they are heading towards a romance." Responded Olivia, "Oh my god. That is so stupid." The publicist agreed, replying, "I can try and shoot it down. But they will still run with it." The "X-Men: Apocalypse" actress then posted on her Instagram Story, "Since they said they're running that story even if we said it's 100 million percent not true, I thought I'd just let you guys know on my own that it's not. … Dear Tabloids, Please stop matching me with my friends' exes. No disrespect to people who do date their friends' exes, that's just not my style. Kthxbye!" "It was a little weird to have to figure out a long-term plan so soon," said the source. "Ashley and Kevin were both really into each other, they just weren't sure if it was a forever thing. And it's hard to date long distance like that." "I'm happy. He's very nice. I have someone being very nice to me." She also addressed persistent rumors that she's a lesbian: "I think it's because I'm not like all my other sisters, who are like, 'Here's me and my boyfriend!' Added the model, "I don't think I have a bisexual or gay bone in my body, but I don't know! Who knows?! I'm all down for experience — not against it whatsoever — but I've never been there before.
