Christina and Tarek El Moussa's relationship is definitely over
Despite their recent coffee meetup, "Flip or Flop" star Christina El Moussa is entirely finished with Tarek El Moussa. That's the latest from TMZ, which cites a source close to Christina as saying she wouldn't consider reuniting with her even if she hadn't already embarked on a new relationship with developer Gary Anderson. She will, however, continue to be civil with Tarek as they move forward with plans to co-parent their two children and deal with their HGTV show, which they plan to continue. Last week, sources were saying there was a chance the estranged couple could be trying to make amends and repair their relationship. Christina's pal seems to think that's absolutely not the case. The issues also reportedly predate Tarek's relationship with 23-year-old Alyssa Logan, who worked as the couple's nanny. The pair called it quits in May following an argument that ended with Tarek storming out of the house, gun in hand.

Mariah Carey, Bryan Tanaka celebrate Beacon run then jet to Aspen
Following her final Christmas performance at the Beacon Theater in New York over the weekend, Mariah Carey celebrated with dinner at Bagatelle in the Meatpacking District surrounded by what E! News described as a large entourage including her backup dancer and rumored boyfriend, Bryan Tanaka, and industry insiders like "Empire" star Jussie Smollett. As the group enjoyed their meal on a rose petal-bedecked table lit by candles, Mimi reportedly led a sing-along to her hit "All I Want for Christmas is You." (Because Mariah.) An insider said the singer dined on steak, tuna tartare and an ice cream sundae (guess the Norwegian salmon and caper-only diet was out the window for the night). With her last stretch of work for the year behind her, she later boarded a plane with Bryan to Aspen, Colorado, where she's spent most of her recent holiday seasons with her twins, Monroe and Moroccan. A video published by the Daily Mail Monday, Dec. 19, showed a white fur coat-clad Mariah, teetering off the steps of a private jet in shiny black stiletto lace-up boots as a "All I Want for Christmas is You" emanated from the car stereo of a driver. Bryan exited the plane behind his boss/maybe-girlfriend holding one of her snoozing kids in his arms.

Jennifer Lawrence pleads the fifth on Darren Aronofsky questions
Recent photos of Jennifer Lawrence and Darren Aronofsky on a romantic stroll in New York sure made it look like the couple's kissing game is on point. But J. Law wasn't giving up any details when she was asked to talk about her best smooch of 2016 on "Watch What Happens Live" this week (via E! News). "Um, uh … well, I can't say," she said, floundering awkwardly before telling Stassi Schroeder, "If you kiss me before the New Year it'll be you, Stassi!" Andy Cohen asked if she wanted to invoke his game's namesake and plead the fifth. "Oh, yeah!" said the relieved actress. "Plead the fifth! I forgot I could do that." Later, Andy tried to get Jen to talk about her new relationship but he had even less luck than Staci. Noting that Nick Jonas had said he'd like to date Jen, Andy asked point blank, "Do you have a boyfriend?" Her response? A little blushing, a few bubbles blown into her drink and a lot of silence.
Angelina Jolie takes Shiloh camera shopping on Brad Pitt's birthday
Sounds like Shiloh Jolie-Pitt could be in charge of this year's holiday photos. On Sunday, Dec. 18, Angelina Jolie took her 10-year-old daughter to Samy's Camera in Los Angeles, where they perused the store's offerings and asked questions before settling on one. "Shiloh is very interested in photography, and Angelina asked to look at some of the vintage cameras," a source tells Us Weekly. "Angelina inspected the cameras from many different angles and was asking questions. Shiloh was listening intently and paying close attention. Angelina told Shiloh she would love to get her the camera and asked her, 'Are you satisfied?' She told Shiloh it even had black and white, which was a nice added feature. Shiloh nodded her head but didn't talk much. She really listened to Angelina and deferred to her on everything. Angelina purchased the camera and they stayed for about 10 minutes and then left with a driver." It's unclear if the camera purchase had any connection to the fact that Sunday was also Shiloh's dad, Brad Pitt's 53rd birthday.
Decision expected soon in Madonna's co-op board lawsuit
The judge handling Madonna's lawsuit against her New York apartment co-op board is expected to announce a decision in the next few weeks. The New York Post reports things don't look great for Madge, whose lawyers have argued a rule disallowing resident's children from using the high-end property when Madonna is not there — which is a lot due to her touring schedule — unfair. The co-op board could evict Madonna for violating the rule if it wins the suit. In a recent proceeding, the judge made it clear Madonna would get no special treatment due to her Queen of Pop status. The rule was enacted long after Madonna moved into the building, a fact that's been part of her lawyer's argument. He also claims the case doesn't belong in Manhattan Civil Court, but rather in Housing Court where, as Page Six puts it, "average New Yorkers" defend their claims. The owner of the building has said Madonna can't prove she's being treated differently than other co-op shareholders. Said the judge: "There's a landlord-tenant relationship between your client and the cooperative corporation and they could bring a Housing Court action to evict."
What did Duchess Kate spend on clothing in 2016?
Here's a little math fun to make you feel better about all that holiday credit card debt you've racked up this month. In 2016, the usually budget-conscious Duchess Kate upped her fashion budget in a major way. According to the Daily Mail, her grand total expenditures for clothing for royal events and tours came to about $214,570, more than four times her 2015 tally of $53,000. Celebitchy notes the new wardrobe tended to feature more from Jenny Packham, Preen and D&G than in previous years. The cash reportedly comes from Prince Charles' coffers.
Prince Harry opens up about 'buried emotion' over Princess Diana's death
They may be royals, but Prince Harry and Prince William had still had their share of personal challenges to overcome through the years, not the least of which was the death of their mother, Princess Diana, when they were children. Prince Harry, who was 12 when his mom was killed in a car crash, opens up about the experience in a new documentary, "Prince Harry in Africa," which details his work Sentebale, a foundation he cofounded in Lesotho with Prince Seeiso that supports children and orphans living with HIV and AIDS — a cause that was close to his mother's heart. "I'd never really dealt with what had actually happened, so there was a lot of buried emotion and, for a huge part of my life, I just didn't even want to think about it," Harry says (via Us Weekly). He goes on to say his charity work in Africa gives him peace because he sees it as "unfinished work my mother never completed." It's also given him reason to embrace life in a different way. "I used to bury my head in the sand, and let everything around you tear you to pieces," said the prince. "I was fighting the system, going, 'I don't want to be this person.' My mother died when I was very, very young and I don't want to be in the position. Now I'm so energized, fired up, to be lucky enough to be in a position to make a difference."
Kanye West's medical records may have been compromised at UCLA
An investigation is currently underway at UCLA Medical Center after it was revealed staff members had tried to access Kanye West's private medical records while he stayed in the hospital recovering from a mental health crisis. TMZ reports the hospital won't comment on the situation but adds that sources say employees will likely be fired as a result of their breach of conduct.
