Johnny Depp spotted making out with mystery woman in Belgrade
Let the romance rumors begin! While shooting a film in Europe in January, Johnny Depp was spotted twice — in two different countries — with a very young-looking woman that the photo agency Backgrid claims is the actor's new girlfriend. LaineyGossip says the two were spotted together when Johnny was boarding a private plane in Nice bound for Belgrade, Serbia. Once he arrived and got settled at the Metropol Palace Hotel, photo agency Backgrid caught him wrapping his arms around the young woman and kissing her "passionately" in late January. According to Backgrid, which just released pics of the kiss this week, the 55-year-old divorced star was staying in a private penthouse in the hotel when the kiss took place. The film he's working on, "Minamata," does not appear to include anyone who resembles Johnny's mystery gal pal.

Ariana Grande recorded a version of 'Thank U Next' in which she ends up with Pete Davidson
On her hit single, "Thank U Next," Ariana Grande candidly runs through her experiences with multiple exes. Turns out she also ran through multiple versions of the song before releasing it — including one in which she ends up with Pete Davidson. "In my relationship by the time things were, like, up and down and on and off and so I didn't know what was gonna happen. And then we got back together and so I had to make a different version of it. And then we broke up again and so we ended up going with that version," Ariana recently said in an interview on "The Zach Sang Show" ( via ET). "There's a version where I was getting married. There's a version where I'm not getting married. There's a version with nothing, we're not talking about anything. But we all knew the first version was gonna be the version we ultimately went with… I just wanted to cover all the bases." The singer, who ended her engagement with Pete last fall, said her team was supportive of her potentially risky idea to name the exes she was referring to. "Then we did it and I was like, 'Wow. This is really, really, really special and it feels really like something, you know?'" she recalled. "… Putting it in a song makes it very, 'OK. Cool. We definitely just closed that chapter.' You know what I mean?" After recording the name-less version, which she says she felt was still a way of "embracing my mistakes and … everything that's contributed to who I am," she and everyone else involved agreed the less direct route was not the way to go. "It was a big risk and a very scary thing to do because it is my life," she admitted. "I understand to a lot of people I'm not a real person. It's easy to kind of see me as a song or a picture or a thing that kind of exists in their head and they know what they know and that's it. But at the end of the day, these are people and relationships… it's real s— to me. It is real life." Ultimately, Ariana found that all the exes she's "still in touch with" have supported the release. Her mom is particularly pro-"Thank U Next," though. "My mom was, like, she's never been happier. My mom was like, 'Oh this is just the best song I've heard in my life,'" she said. "Because everybody who knows me knows how Joan Grande has felt about every relationship I've ever been in and she has been so supportive and patient and bit her tongue, you know, been a fantastic mother. That song is for my mom's closure and also as a thank you to her for helping me through a lot of this s—… It was just a beautiful moment for her."

Hailey Bieber admits it was initially 'strange' taking Justin's last name
The Internet's certainly taken to calling her "Mrs. Bieber," but the newly minted Hailey Bieber knows deep down she'll always also be a Baldwin. "It took some getting used to, for sure," the model recently told Bustle of taking her husband, Justin Bieber's name after they got married in September. "It's definitely strange, it takes adjusting." That's particularly true for Hailey because of the roots the Baldwin clan has in Hollywood between Hailey's dad, Stephen Baldwin, and her uncles, William, Daniel and Alec Baldwin. "I'm very proud of my family name," Hailey continues. "I come from a great family with a history in this industry. I remember when I was going to change it, I asked my dad if he was going to be upset and he was like, 'No! I don't care. We love you. All good, everyone still knows you're a Baldwin.'" Hailey and Justin, who's reportedly battling depression, plan to celebrate their marriage soon with a second, larger wedding than the courthouse nuptials where they tied the knot.
Kylie Jenner shows off Stormi's giant pile of birthday gifts
Seems Stormi Webster's birthday party on Saturday, Feb. 9, was so over-the-top, it took her days to get through her presents. On Tuesday, Kylie Jenner shared a clip of the birthday girl standing by a pile of gifts so huge they dwarfed the 1-year-old. "You finally got to open your gifts," Kylie says in the post (via Us Weekly). "You're so lucky." While she didn't show off what was inside many of the boxes, Kylie's peek at the pile did reveal a Gucci bag was among the offerings. The party itself reportedly featured a "Baby Shark" performance, carnival decor and plenty of large photos of Stormi. "How did I get so lucky to have such a sweet, smart, happy baby," Kylie recently asked in a birthday tribute to her little girl on Instagram. "I just couldn't have dreamt you up, storm," she continued. "I wish you could stay this little forever and I could protect that contagious smile and laugh of yours. I know you won't remember much about the first year of your life but I pray that you'll never forget to keep sharing your joy and laughter with the world. My love grows for you a thousand miles a minute. Every day with you is the best day of my life. Happy birthday to my angel on earth."

How battling cancer made Shannen Doherty feel more vulnerable, feminine and sexy
From her newfound appreciation of her own inner strength to her increasing openness to putting herself out there on social media, Shannen Doherty has found breast cancer changed her life in ways she didn't expect. When she was going through treatment and surgeries, for example, she discovered she "felt more feminine and vulnerable" than ever before, she says in Health magazine's latest cover story. "I was always used to being the strong one, and during that time period, every wall I'd built up in my life came down. I also had a lot more time to look at myself and say, 'I'm a pretty OK person' and cut myself some slack. I've had a lot of those epiphanies. It's OK to stumble," she explains (via People). As for sharing her experiences with the disease on social media, the 47-year-old says: "It was just about being as honest as possible. And then it became very important to me that I was there for people who were going through it." She also made an effort to remind others to advocate for themselves when it came to their treatment. After all that, she says she gets a warmer reception in general online. "I get a little less trolls and haters on social media now, so that's good," she says. "I think because cancer stripped me of my defense mechanisms, it allowed people to see all sides of me." One of those sides was her decision to shave her head after chemo caused her hair to fall out "in clumps." Another has been the feeling of strength that came with recovering from something that almost killed her. "They were worried about my organs shutting down because I couldn't keep anything in," she says of the chemo. "One time, I couldn't lift my head, I couldn't suck on an ice cube, I was done. And Kurt was crying, saying, 'Please don't leave me.' I looked at him and thought, 'I can't do this to him.' So I dug deep, gathered everything up, and charged forward again. [My husband] Kurt and I got through one of the worst things a couple can go through, and we came out stronger." Adding that she now sees a nutritionist and does strength training and boxing almost daily, Shannen says: "I love that my body is strong and that it has the ability to fight something like cancer … My perception of sexy has changed. For me now, sexy is strength. Sexy is vulnerability. Sexy is compassion. Sexy is grace. Why should I care so much about the physical shell?"
Lisa Vanderpump denies she stole NeNe Leakes' Pump Restaurant idea
Lisa Vanderpump's drama with the other "Real Housewives" in her orbit seems to know no bounds. The latest feud kicked off after NeNe Leakes accused Lisa of talking her out of buying a building on Santa Monica Boulevard to open a bar in — then buying it herself and opening a restaurant there. "It's the first thing I've heard about it in six years, so it's been a surprise," Lisa recently told Us Weekly of the accusation NeNe made on Jenny McCarthy's Sirius show. "It's my 35th restaurant. It's from the same landlord as the landlord at SUR. It's 200 yards down the road," she added. Lisa also admitted to the magazine that shooting the ninth season of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" "was particularly difficult" for her.
Kim Kardashian West avoids wrinkles by not smiling
Trying to avoid wrinkles but can't afford expensive creams, serums and injections? Kim Kardashian West's got you covered. Unfortunately, taking her advice requires looking decidedly unhappy as much as possible. While having her makeup done by artist Mario Dedivanovic during The Master Class over the weekend, a fan asked Kim how she keeps her skin so smooth. Her answer? According to People, her "honest" answer was, "Don't smile." The magazine also reminds us Kim once said she lost interest in smiling for cameras after seeing all the negative stories that ran about her body while she was pregnant with North and suffering from preeclampsia, which made her bloat. We'd recommend a less dangerous path to Serious Face, but hey … silver linings.
Lady Gaga defends 'brave' Cardi B after Grammy backlash
After making history as the first female solo artist win a Grammy for Best Rap Album, Cardi B was hit with a slew of nasty comments indicating she hadn't deserved the award (even though she dedicated it to the late Mac Miller, whose fans were among those trashing Cardi on social media). She was clearly stunned and hurt by the response as she hopped on social media herself to explain that she had worked extremely hard on "Invasion of Privacy," including while she was pregnant, and to list stats about the album's positive reception. By Tuesday, Feb. 13, Cardi had taken her Instagram account down but that didn't stop Lady Gaga for speaking out in support of the rapper, whom she was photographed chatting and laughing with at the ceremony. "It is so hard to be a woman in this industry," tweeted Lady G. "What it takes, how hard we work through the disrespectful challenges, just to make art. I love you Cardi. You deserve your awards. Let's celebrate her fight. Lift her up & honor her. She is brave." Chance the Rapper, Jay Cole and other artists have also spoken out in defense of Cardi's big win, according to E! News.
Michelle Obama's mom doesn't think she's a 'real' star
Best #MomText ever? Michelle Obama's surprise Grammy appearance — where she stood next to Lady Gaga, Jada Pinkett Smith, Alicia Keys and Jennifer Lopez to share how music "allows us to hear one another, to invite each other in" — apparently made it onto her mother's radar. It subsequently made for some hilarious text exchanging, which Michelle couldn't help but share on Instagram, according to E! News. "I guess you were a hit at the Grammys," Michelle's mom, Marian Shields Robinson, texted her daughter in the screengrabbed thread. Michelle then asked if she watched the show. "I saw it because Gracie called me," her mom replied. "Did you meet any of the real stars or did you run right after you were done." D'oh! "I told you I was going to be on it…" Michelle insisted. "No you did not," said her mom. "I would have remembered that even though I don't remember much." Sharing some laughing Emojis, Michelle then said, "I thought I told you. And I am a real star…by the way…" Refusing to give her that one entirely, her mom wrote back, "Yeah." "When your mom doesn't think you're a 'real' celebrity…," Michelle captioned the IG post. "Tonight in Phoenix, I shared this text thread from my mom from #Grammys night, and I just had to share it with all of you. #TextsFromMom."
Ben Affleck is back in touch with his ex, Lindsay Shookus
When Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus called it quits almost six months ago, Ben was still on shaky ground with his substance abuse issues and had not yet officially divorced Jennifer Garner, who reportedly waited to finalize things until he was 100 percent booze-free. These days, the actor is both officially single and officially sober — and those factors may be opening the door to a rekindled romance with Lindsay. "They've been talking and have seen each other again. Ben is in a much better place health-wise and is a lot happier," a source tells Us Weekly, adding that Lindsay "reached out" to Ben to reestablish contact. The two "always really liked each other and that hasn't changed," the source says. "They will keep talking and see what happens. It wouldn't be surprising if they got back together, but with the distance and living on different coasts it's difficult." Ben lives in Los Angeles these days and is likely to stay put so he can spend as much time as possible with the three children he shares with Jennifer. Lindsay, meanwhile, lives in New York City and given the Emmy Award-winning producer's role at "Saturday Night Live," she seems equally likely to spend most of her time on the East Coast. While Ben and Lindsay reportedly had trouble making their year-long romance work because of the distance, a second Us source noted at the time of their split that Ben hadn't been "sober or that present" for either Lindsay or his family and that his addiction likely played a role in the breakup.
