Justin Bieber gets emotional at church, posts about his 'hard season'
In March, Justin Bieber announced he was stepping away from music to focus on his mental and emotional health — and it sounds like he's not done with that work just yet. The singer shared a long Instagram post this week after he stepped onstage for the first time at Churchome in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, Aug. 28 and performed the gospel song, "Never Would Have Made It" with the band. People reports he was so emotional, he cried before the performance. He seemed to be experiencing similarly intense feelings the next day when she shared the experience on Instagram. "Sang at church last night. God is pulling me through a hard seaon," he wrote in his post, implying the performance was part of his healing process. "Having trust in Jesus at your worst times is the absolute hardest. But he is faithful to complete what he started." He also gave a shout-out to Hailey Bieber, thanking her for "being such a huge support in my life through this season." Justin continued: ".. it says in the bible count it ALL JOY when you face trials of various kinds. Sounds insane considering when u face trials u feel terrible. But if we are grateful and worship god for what we do have in that season there is so much power in that… whatever pain you are going through just keep telling yourself THIS WONT LAST! Love you guys we in this together." Hailey replied to her husband, writing. "So proud of who u are," in the comments. The couple are reportedly planning a religious wedding before their friends and family in South Carolina at the end of September.

Kim Kardashian leaks a preview of Kanye West's new album info, posts about his dome community
Kim Kardashian West played publicist for her husband Kanye West on Thursday, Aug. 29, sharing info about two of his biggest current projects on social media. First, Kim tweeted a photo of an array of items on a table, including the Bible opened to Psalm 57:6, a jar of lemons, a flashlight and what appears to be the track list for Kanye's next album. The twelve titles listed all have a spiritual angle — Garden," "God Is", "Baptized," "Sweet Jesus" and "Sunday," for example — and at least one is a song Kanye's played at a recent Sunday Service, according to the Daily Mail. At the end of the list is the date "Sept. 27," presumably the album's release date. Kim captioned the shot, "Jesus Is King," which the Mail suspects is the album's title. That evening, Kim shared clips on her Instagram Story from a celebration she and Kanye apparently had in honor of Kanye's father. "Last night we had dinner in the domes for Kanye's dads 70th birthday with a beautiful performance by 70 Sunday Service choir members," she told fans. The "domes" in question are structures Kanye's been working on that he recently told Forbes could potentially "house the homeless." For that to happen, he'll have to get the correct building permit by Sept. 15, though. Kim and Kanye's neighbors in Calabasas, Calif., apparently complained about the construction noise enough this summer that building inspectors came to check out what was going on at the site. they smacked code violations on Kanye, telling him the domes must be torn down if they're not brought up to code pronto.
Gigi Hadid kept thinking Jade Jolie was Taylor Swift, too …
John Travolta's not the only one who confused drag queen Jade Jolie for Taylor Swift the night of the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards. In a new interview with NewNowNext.com, Jade recalls how she "giggled" about the moment John glanced in her direction while trying to present Taylor with her biggest award of the night. "We told Taylor, and she was tickled and thought it was so funny," the "RuPaul Drag Race" alum shared. "She joked and was like, 'You totally should have went for it!'" And maybe she should have. Because as she said later in the interview, even one of Taylor's famous pals mixed up Jade and Taylor. "At the after-party Gigi Hadid kept thinking I was Taylor—they're really good friends," Jade marvedl "The drunker we got, I guess the more Taylor I became for everyone!"
Teresa Giudice moves new college freshman Gia Giudice into her dorm at Rutgers
Like Angelina Jolie and thousands of other emotional parents across the country, Teresa Giudice started emptying her proverbial nest this week when she brought her 18-year-old daughter, Gia Giudice, to college. A series of videos posted on Teresa's Instagram Story on Thursday, Aug. 29, showed Joe Gorga packing cardboard boxes into a pickup truck and Gia unloading her army of suitcases at Rutgers University in New Jersey. "She packed too much! She has five suitcases!" Teresa said in one video that also showed Gia saying "goodbye" to the family dog (via People). Gia's 14-year-old sister, Melania, joined the family at Gia's dorm at the school, which Teresa was excited to note has "a beautiful view," as the teen started setting up her room. Later, the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star shared a shot of Gia and her siblings in the mirror of the dorm room, which was already starting to look homey. One person who was notably absent from the videos was Gia's dad, Joe Giudice, who remains at a facility for immigration detainees while he continues to appeal his deportation to Italy. Though Joe grew up in the U.S., he never got American citizenship. Given his indictment on fraud charges, a judge ruled to send him back to Italy when he was released from prison.

Liv Tyler loves being engaged but has no 'desire to get married'
In 2015, Liv Tyler's partner, David Gardner, popped the question. Liv said "yes" and the two proceeded to raise their son, born the same year David proposed, while enjoying their engagement. Today, they're still happy with their relationship status — and judging from Liv's comments about marriage in Tatler's October cover story, it could be decades before she's ready to walk down the aisle. "I love being engaged, but I don't really have a desire to get married," said the 42-year-old "Ad Astra" star (via the Daily Mail). "I always felt like marriage should be more of a reward … for surviving your relationship,".she explained. "I feel everyone's got it backwards." Liv, who now lives in London with her British fiance, also opened up about some of the differences she's noticed while living in the UK. After declaring the "British class system" to be "really oppressive," Liv said she feels like it even affects the "dynamics" of her relationship. "I remember the first time that David called me his 'missus,'" she recalled, sharing an example. "I was like, 'What? Excuse me? I'm not your missus.' You have to earn that." "Ad Astra," which features Liv alongside Brad Pitt, premiered this week at the Venice Film Festival.
Kelly Clarkson reveals the Reba McEntire advice she's sticking to when it comes to her new show
With the premiere of her new, eponymous talk show just around the corner, Kelly Clarkson is opening up about what lessons she's learned from Reba McEntire — her career mentor and her husband, Brandon Blackstock's former stepmom. Speaking to Parade for the magazine's new cover story, Kelly reveals she's scared there will be times when she isn't clear on the backstories her guests have come to her show intending to discuss. "She told me once, 'You're caring too much about too many things. You have to have people in the right spots,'" the singer recalls. Taking that advice, Kelly says she's set up her team so she has plenty of help getting all the information she needs. That's also left her with more much-needed "me" time. "I used to suffer from depression and could easily slip back into that if I weren't steadily paying attention to time management," she tells Parade. "With all the things that I do, I definitely need time for me."
Eddie Murphy reveals he never stopped making music after 1985's 'Party All the Time'
After years spent mostly out of the spotlight, Eddie Murphy's making his way back to the stage and screen lately. He consented to a rare interview for Jerry Seinfeld's "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" that aired this summer. He stars in a forthcoming Dolemite biopic. And "Saturday Night Live" just announced the comic is slated to return to his old stomping grounds to host an episode of "SNL" next season. Turns out there's one talent he's been quietly honing for many years — but don't look for him to make it too public. As Eddie revealed on a recent edition of Krista Smith's "Present Company" podcast, he never stopped making music after his 1985 radio hit, "Party All the Time." "A hundred years from now, when I'm gone, they'll find all these tracks and they'll be like, 'Wow, we didn't even know this guy. We had no idea,' " Eddie says (via Page Six). "Whatever muscle I use to be funny … I have a muscle to do music, and I use them both all the time … I've never stopped doing music," he explains. "I stopped putting it out though, because … the audience gets weirded out by it. And I don't want to be that guy."
