Justin Theroux's neighbor came at building residents with farming tools

The volatile situation Justin Theroux has been facing for years with his neighbor has been slightly defused — for now. TMZ reports a judge has issued a temporary restraining order against Norman Resnicow after multiple residents in his building signed affadavits backing up Justin's claims about Norman. According to the documents, they were then confronted by Norman with what they described as "harpoons." It turned out they were log rollers, but either way, the residents said he "intimidated" them with the rollers, which he held in each hand while yelling at them. Someone in the lobby of the building, where log roller/harpoon brouhaha went down reportedly tried to get Norman to chill … with no luck. The restraining order demands Norman stop "influencing, harassing, intimidating or threatening any witnesses or prospective witnesses" in Justin's case. Four of the people named in the restraining order are other residents of his building. Side note: Where does one roll logs in Manhattan, anyway?

A few days after the Met Gala, Amal Clooney traded her tin foil art gown and Tom Ford dress for business attire and headed to Nashville, Tennessee, to speak at Senior Day at Vanderbilt University, where she was given the Nichols-Chancellor's Medal for her humanitarian work. Referencing the work of Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr. and Vanderbilt students involved in the Civil Rights movement, she urged the graduating class to be courageous as they moved on with their lives. "A hundred years ago there would have been few women here at the Vanderbilt commencement," she said, according to Page Six. "Sixty years ago there would have been no African-American students in the senior day audience. There is still much to do but it is thanks to the courageous people who've come before us that we have the rights that we have today including courageous students who were right here on this campus." She went on to discuss specific instances of courage exhibited by women around the world, then addressed pressing matters the students could focus their efforts on. "At a time when the LGBT community in every continent struggles for equal rights, freedom from imprisonment and even death, we need courage," she said. "At a time when more journalists are in prison around the world than at any time in the last three decades, and even here at home the media is under attack from the White House, we need courage. And at a time when our politicians try to conflate the terms refugee and terrorist and make us fear one another, we need courage." On a lighter note, the tab reports, she said it was her first time in Tennessee, adding that her husband, George Clooney thought the Vanderbilt Commodores had a solid basketball team.

Judge not convinced Kardashians got Blac Chyna's reality show nixed

The judge handling Blac Chyna's lawsuit against the Kardashians is looking for written proof E! was obligated to film a second season of her reality show with her ex, Rob Kardashian, or he's probably going to dismiss the case. That's according to TMZ, which reported this week the judge has said the network was legally allowed to film only one season under the terms of the contract Chyna and Rob had with them. Chyna will reportedly be allowed to amend her claim and try again to prove her ex's family talked E! into canning the show. Meanwhile, her other claims against the family, including defamation, are still on the table. The Kardashians have asked the judge to toss the whole case.

Busy Philipps doesn't feel great knowing Gret Gerwig hated her new film, "I Feel Pretty," but she doesn't think the person who live tweeted Greta's apparently loud comments on the film in the theater should have shared them for the world to see. A few days ago, the user explained she was the only one in the theater for a daytime show when Greta walked in. As fans came to meet her, the Twitter user, who said she was sitting behind the "Lady Bird" director, announced she was going to "live tweet this experience." She then proceeded to trash the movie, according to the user's Twitter feed. "LOUDLY POINTED OUT A PLOT HOLE,' vented out loud, 'THIS MOVIE IS IN. COMP. RE. HENSIBLE,' and said at one point of the film, 'I hate this," the user posted, among other things, apparently quoting Greta. Busy caught wind of the whole thing and hopped on Instagram stories, where she said Greta's comments had been "mean" but shouldn't have been made public. "Guys did you see this woman that like live-tweeted Greta watching 'I Feel Pretty?'" she asked (via the Daily Mail). "Are we seriously at this point, that we're just, like, "Everybody exists for my own personal LOLs? It just bummed me out on such a deeply personal level for a few reasons…It's just the idea that if you are in the public eye in whatever capacity that you just sort of are giving up your autonomy and your privacy – anywhere – that you can't go to a movie theater. I mean, I think that it's up to the rest of us to understand what privacy is and what discretion is and to allow people to be people." She added, "Greta's our friend" before calling the comments "pretty f—— mean." The Twitter user, however, didn't back down. "She was speaking IN FULL VOLUME IN A MOVIE THEATER. I WASN'T HIDING IN THE BUSHES OUTSIDE HER APARTMENT!!!" the user posted. "I WAS TRYING TO TAKE IN A MATINEE BECAUSE I HAD TWO EXTRA HOURS TO KILL AND SOMEONE WAS TALKING LOUDLY AND IT HAPPENED TO BE A CELEBRITY SO I WANTED TO TELL MY FRIENDS."

Rihanna's lingerie line website puts shoppers on hold with long wait times

Rihanna's Savage x Fenty lingerie collection ran into some overload issues when the website put the items on sale on Thursday, May 10, leaving would-be shoppers hanging with a black screen that announced their wait time and warned they'd lose their place in line if they left, according to People. "I WAS TRYING TO CHECK OUT MY #SavageXFenty CART AND IT REFRESHED AND PUT ME AT A 30 MINUTE WAIT THIS IS HELL," tweeted one irritated visitor. Others posted that some of the pieces were no longer available within minutes of going on sale. RiRi seemed to be taking it all in stride, though. The day after the sale began, she posted an Instagram video promoting the collection. Speaking to Vogue about the line, she recently said she wanted to make sure the pieces were available for women with bigger-sized bodies. "You've just got to laugh at yourself, honestly. I mean, I know when I'm having a fat day and when I've lost weight. I accept all of the bodies," she said. "I'm not built like a Victoria's Secret girl, and I still feel very beautiful and confident in my lingerie."

Kim Kardashian flies back to Wyoming to be with Kanye West

After spending time in New York City and Las Vegas for the past week or so, Kim Kardashian West is back in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, with Kanye West, where he's working on five new albums. She left the mountains and Yeezy on May 2 to see Cher perform live in Sin City, according to People, before jetting over to the Big Apple to meet her sisters, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, and their mom, Kris Jenner, for the Met Gala. Her downtime with Kanye in Wyoming, however, won't last long. People reports she's expected to return to Los Angeles for Mother's Day, which she'll spend with her mom and the rest of her family. "Kim happily joined Kanye in Jackson Hole. She wants to be supportive so he can finish his album," a source close to Kim's work on "KUWK" told People recently. "The album has caused Kanye a lot of stress. He is a perfectionist and wants the music to be amazing." Given Kanye's recent round of controversial p ublic comments , the mother of three is understandably hoping to make sure everything is OK with him. "Kim is absolutely concerned about Kanye. She likes being in Jackson Hole so she can keep an eye on his health. She wants to make sure he eats and sleeps enough. She doesn't want him to push himself beyond his limits. She wants a healthy Kanye," says the source. During her appearance on Friday's "Live! With Kelly and Ryan," she was asked how Kanye was doing. She said he was "good" — but that he "gave me my first gray hair this week."

In her latest #RedTableTalk on Facebook, Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith's ex-wife, Sheree Fletcher, with whom he shares a son, Trey, got candid about the growing pains they endured in the process of raising a blended family. "Here's the one thing I will say in hindsight, because I did not understand marriage, I didn't understand divorce, I will say that I probably should have fell back," Jada said in the discussion, which was posted on Facebook, talk-show style, this week. "I feel like when Will and I first started dating. I had this thing in my mind, 'that's done.' That's where I was wrong," Jada said (via Celebitchy). Sheree went on to admit Jada wasn't the only one who handled some things poorly along the way towards their current, comfortable situation. I called back and I happened to say, 'B—-, you living in the house I picked out.' You said, 'It's my house now.'" Jada added that Will didn't appreciate the way she'd handled the situation. "I want you to know Will Smith let me have it. His take was 'That is Trey's mother and that's just not your place,'" Jada recalled. "The next time I saw you was in the foyer of your house," said Sheree. "You took the initiative to make things right. The one thing I would say about you is you would always say 'Ree, I apologize.' Mel B and the Spice Girls are probably not performing at royal wedding, despite rumors

Did Mel B speak too soon? After the "America's Got Talent" star hinted on "The Real" that the Spice Girls were performing at the royal wedding, TMZ reports there have been no rehearsals or other indication that the group will reunite for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's big day. They are attending, according to the website, but probably just as guests. The wedding is scheduled to take place in London on May 19.

Chris' ex, Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly supportive, too. "Gwyneth is happy if Chris is happy," said a source. "She only wants the best for him."

Sarah Jessica Parker admits 'Sex and the City' seems a little dated today

Maybe it's not a bad thing that last "Sex and the City" movie isn't being made. Even Sarah Jessica Parker admits her character, Carrie Bradshaw, wouldn't quite be cut out for life in New York City in 2018. "I'm not sure where she would fit in [today]," she said during a discussion at the Wall Street Journal's Future of Everything Festival, according to Page Six. "I think Carrie is very much a product of her generation," she explained, "and … her conversations about sex, politics and intimacy spoke to the years she spent … prior to being a young adult." Looking back, SJP added, the show is pretty dated. "There were no women of color … and there was no substantial conversation about the LGBTQ community."
