Katy Perry drops hints about her due date, possible new album
Now that the cat's out of the bag — or is that bump? — Katy Perry's ready to share more about her pregnancy. The singer revealed this week she and her fiance Orlando Bloom are expecting their first child together in the new video for her song, "Never Worn White," which features a clearly expectant Katy cradling her belly. She elaborated on the exciting news after the video was released in an Instagram Live post. "I am excited," Katold told fans in the clip (via Us Weekly). "We're excited and happy. It's probably the longest secret I've ever had to keep. I like to tell you guys everything, but I knew I would tell you in the best way, which was through a piece of music because that's how I speak to you. That's how we speak together with each other." Katy went on to hint that she and Orlando are expecting their new addition this summer, as well as a new album. "There's a lot that will be happening this summer," Katy said. "Not only will I be giving birth literally, but also figuratively to something you guys have been waiting for. So let's just call it a double whammy." As for her pregnancy? Katy sounds like she's acclimating, if still in a state of awe about how her body and cravings are changing. Explaining that she finds herself disgusted by red meat, she joked that she's been "eating the same burrito for weeks on end," hence the bottle of hot sauce she's got stowed away in her purse, Beyonce-style. Though she's been open in the past about her sometimes rocky relationship with her very strict, religious parents growing up, Katy added that she's always "felt like a mother." Katy and Orlando are reportedly considering getting married in Japan in June.

"Ultimately, I made the decision that got me to where I am today," Demi said (via E! News). "It was my actions that put me in the position that I'm in. I think it's important that I sit here on this stage and tell you at home, or you in the audience or you right here that if you do go through this, you yourself can get through it. You can get to the other side, and it may be bumpy, but you are a 10 out of 10. Don't forget it. As long as you take the responsibility, you can move past it and learn to love yourself the way you deserve to be loved." Later, Ellen DeGeneres lightened the mood a bit by asking Demi about a previous admission that she has a thing for Rihanna. "Look, I just wanna make out, OK?" Demi joked, staring into the camera as if Rihanna were on the other side. "I mean, we could do a song together too. Maybe we make out in the video. I don't know." "I have to, like, fight those battles on my own and I can't let somebody come in and fix those issues for me," she added. "So, right now I'm single and spending my Saturday nights by myself. Laughing. Taking baths." Sounds like a great Saturday night to us!
Eva Mendes explains her M.O. on sharing photos of Ryan Gosling and their kids
When Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling were first linked romantically in 2011, after they shot "The Place Beyond the Pines" together, they breezily avoided confirming or denying their relationship for ages. It wasn't until they began expanding their family — the couple share two daughters — that they finally acknowledged they were partners. Still, a fan recently pressed Eva on why her man's picture rarely, if ever, pops up on Eva's social media, teasing, "wouldn't mind an appearance by Ryan on this page!" Eva responded to the fan, according to JustJared, explaining why she keeps her family out of her posts. "As far as Ryan, I'll only post flash backs of things that are already 'out there' (like pics from movies we did or stuff like that)," she wrote. "My man and kids are private. That's important to me so thanks for getting that. Have a beautiful day. Sending so much love!,"

Why new evidence in Lori Loughlin's college admissions scandal could 'change everything'
More experts are weighing in to agree that things look pretty positive right now for Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli. The couple, whose college admission scandal case goes to trial in October, recently brought forward new evidence about the scandal's mastermind, Rick Singer. At the end of February, defense attorney Sean Berkowitz told the court he has proof the FBI ordered Singer to lie to parents about what the money they were giving him was being spent on. If that's true, it bolsters Lori's claim she didn't know the $500,000 she paid in the hopes of getting her daughters into USC was bribe money. (She and Mossimo pleaded not guilty and said they thought the cash was a "donation.") "This is a defense attorney's dream and a prosecutor's nightmare," criminal defense lawyer James J. Leonard Jr. (who is not affiliated with the case) tells People in this week's issue. "This changes everything." The new information was brought to light as part of a request to have the trial postponed. The request was denied, but a source tells People that's fine with Loughlin and her husband. "They are not upset that the date didn't get moved," says the insider. "Any new development that might challenge the prosecution's allegations is good for them." The trial is set to begin Oct. 5 in Boston.
