Kim Kardashian used to be Taylor Swift's biggest fan
Hard to believe there was a time when Kim Kardashian West was all about Taylor Swift, but it's true. In an ET interview snippet from 2009, Us Weekly reports Kim was asked what the No. 1 song on her iPod was. It was Taylor's "Love Story." "I love Taylor Swift. I'm the biggest Taylor Swift fan," Kim enthused. "I'm watching her on Twitter. I just signed up for Twitter and I'm watching you, Taylor! Following." Fast forward to the MTV VMAs that year and Kanye West's now infamous "Imma let you finish but …" you don't deserve that award, Taylor. Years later, of course, Kanye and Kim claimed they got Taylor's approval on Kanye's song "Famous" and the lyric where he would take credit for Taylor's renown because of the VMA incident. Taylor, who shot back at Kimye with her new single, "Look What You Made Me Do," maintained Kim left some key details out of the story when she leaked a recording of a phone call between Taylor and Kanye about "Famous." "Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me 'that b—-' in his song? It doesn't exist because it never happened. You don't get to control someone's emotional response to being called 'that b—-' in front of the entire world," Swift wrote on social media. "Of course I wanted to like the song. I wanted to believe Kanye when he told me that I would love the song. I wanted us to have a friendly relationship. He promised to play the song for me, but never did. While I wanted to be supportive of Kanye on the phone call, you cannot 'approve' a song you haven't heard. Being falsely painted a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination. I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one that I have never asked to be a part of, since 2009."

Kenya Moore warns haters not to make 'a mockery' of her marriage
Anyone gossiping about Kenya Moore's new marriage with Marc Daly better zip it — or be prepared to face legal consequences. That's the message the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star announced on Instagram this week when she griped, "It never ceases to amaze me the lengths people will go to discredit you, spread propaganda, boldface lies and publish entire articles based on an 'anonymous' or unknown source." Though she didn't point specific fingers, she assured the perpetrators she isn't messing around. "My marriage and my life will not be made a mockery of. Katy Perry's VMA performance may have 'Idol' producers nervous
In the wake of Katy Perry's widely criticized hosting gig at the MTV VMAs last weekend, are ABC's "American Idol" producers concerned they promised her too much money for her participation in the show? We'll take this one with a big RadarOnline-sized grain of salt, but the website alleges network exes may be having second thoughts about her rumored $25 million paycheck, if not having her on the show altogether. "No one ever auditioned her for the new 'Idol' job and they are freaking out that they hired someone who is terrible on live television," a source allegedly told Radar, adding that they were hoping for "a more modulated and thoughtful Katy. Said the insider: "It's not like they're asking her to change her hairstyle or revise her style team, but they are asking her not to upstage the contestants the way some past judges, especially Mariah Carey, had the tendency to do."
Ed Sheeran dedicates a song to his namesake
Some people love Ed Sheeran and some people looooove Ed Sheeran. Rocky Smith and Harmony Smith are apparently in the latter group. "One year," said Harmony, adding, "Her middle name is Sheeran!" Ed marveled, "I've never seen a baby this calm at a concert. Just chilling there for the whole thing and you guys have been loud, you're singing and she's just kinda like … I love babies." As if to prove his point he proceeded to dedicate his song "Dive" to her. Encouraging the audience to sing along, he assured them, "I want you to be as loud as you can. 'Cause she's gonna be chill."

Eric's new relationship is the first that's gone public since his romance with Katherine Tokarz a few years back, although it's the rumors he and Charlize Theron were seeing each other we remember best — probably because of his response to the gossip. "I wish people would stop spreading rumors that Charlize Theron and I are dating.," he tweeted at the time. "It's starting to make Halle Berry jealous."

Why Richard Simmons' defamation case might not hold water
As Richard Simmons pursues legal action against the National Enquirer and Radar for alleging he's transitioning into a woman, his case has been given a red flag. Richard's lawsuit says the stories the tabs ran were "defamatory," but in an initial ruling, a judge in Los Angeles has pointed out the "misidentification of a person as transgender is not actionable defamation absent special damages," according to the New York Post. The judge added that the prejudices held by some people who might find transgender people to be worthy of ridicule are not grounds for declaring transgender is a negative term. "… The court will not validate those prejudices by legally recognizing them," the judge wrote. Richard's lawyers are reportedly looking at other options as the case continues.
