Chicago West flies to Cleveland to avoid the flu
When cold and flu season hits, some parents keep their kids out of daycare. Kim Kardashian West, however has a teensy bit more cash in the bank than some parents, so naturally, she sent her 10-month-old daughter on a multi-day trip halfway across the country to stay with her aunt Khloe Kardashian and cousin, True Thompson. "Yesterday was a hard day because we have the flu going around," Kim explained to "Extra" on Thursday, Dec. 6. "I sent her to Cleveland with Khloé. I said … 'Khloé, please take her for, like, four days, because she'll get sick [at home] with everyone.'" It probably didn't that True has an "easy and chill" personality, as Kim recently told a fan on Twitter. And judging from the adorable posts that later turned up on Khloe's Instagram, she was happy to play host — even if one pic (via People) showing the girls snoozing next to each other in their car seats suggested they may have worn each other out. Meh — it was probably worth it for the adorable factor …
Kelly Clarkson urges fans not to fight over who will win Grammy gold
Kelly Clarkson is among this year's women-heavy list of Grammy nominees, courtesy of her latest release, "Meaning of Life," which is up for Best Pop Vocal album. And while she was appreciative and excited about the honor, thanking her label, Atlantic Records for "helping me make my best album yet" and calling the nomination itself a "win," she was less pumped about the bickering that ensued as the nominations spawned gripes and bickering about who should take home various awards. "I am literally begging my fans & fans of all artists do not fight over which will win," she tweeted on Friday, Dec. 7. "We are all hard workers. We are all talented. We are all excited & honored to be nominated. Let's focus on praising art & lift each other up in a time when there is far too much division ❤️."

Dolly Parton ranks the 'Friends' guys
The womance that's brewing between Dolly Parton and Jennifer Aniston as they promote their new Netflix movie, "Dumplin'" is one we can totally get behind. After Jen gushed this week about "excited" she was to see her co-star's "beautiful, beautiful song" score a Golden Globes nomination for her original tune, "Girl in the Movies," Dolly enthused to James Corden that "of course" she had "The Rachel" haircut Jen made famous in the '90s when she wore it on "Friends." "Everybody wanted to look like her," Dolly said with a smile on the Thursday, Dec. 5, edition of on "The Late Late Show" (via ET). James then asked the country legend to pick which male "Friends" lead she'd marry. which she'd go to bed with and which she'd take with her on a cruise. "Well, Chandler was already with Monica in the show, so that's out. Ross was with [Jen], and we're girlfriends, so I wouldn't do that," she explained, somewhat skipping past the rules of the game (you do you, Dolly). "Joey though, on the other hand, he was the only one who left the show kinda single, so I think I'd go with him," she said. The 72-year-old then paused and added: "Joey probably had clap and syphilis, so I'd take him to the doctor." Fair enough. Eventually, the show host talked her into slotting the guys into the categories he put forth — sort of. "I would take Ross to Dollywood," she said, using what would arguably be a more fun option than marriage. When pressed, she decided she'd take Ross on a cruise — and sleep with Chandler. Guess you're on your own with that doctor appointment, Joey.
Jennifer Garner and Ina Garten celebrate Ina's book tour with In-N-Out burgers
Hey, if it was good enough for Julia Child … celebrity chef Ina Garten and Instagram chef Jennifer Garner caught up at an In-N-Out Burger on Wednesday, Dec. 5, to celebrate the end of Ina's "Cook Like a Pro" book tour with a little burger indulgence. Leonardo DiCaprio checks out a $2.5M dinosaur skeleton at Art Basel
Leonardo DiCaprio has long worked to prevent wildlife extinction through his foundation and other organizations. He's also an avid art collector, so it makes sense that he'd be drawn to the "DeXtinction" showcase of prehistoric items from Avant Mining and Interprospekt at Art Basel in Miami this week. The New York Post reports the star, clad in a face-hiding black hoodie, took a particular interest in a piece made from the 150-million-year-old skeletons of an Allosaurus mother and child that were excavated over the course of two years in Wyoming — with a $2.5 million price tag. His interest was also reportedly piqued by work from Tom Wesselmann at Edward Tyler Nahem Fine Art's booth. Leo, along with celebs including Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez and Swizz Beatz were all on hand at a VIP preview of Art Basel in Miami on Wednesday, Dec. 5. The massive emerging artists fair runs in Miami's South Beach section through Sunday.
Bella Hadid and The Weeknd spotted out and about in Singapore as his Asia tour continues
Looks like The Weeknd's Asia tour is doubling as a lovefest on wheels for the singer and his girlfriend, Bella Hadid. The Weeknd's next tour stop is expected to take them to Bali.
Serena Williams shares the baby advice she's given her pal Meghan Markle
Neither marrying Prince Harry nor preparing to welcome a royal baby has done much to change Meghan Markle. That's according to her close friend, Serena Williams, who told People this week the former "Suits" star is as genuine and caring as she ever was. "I'm like, 'How are you?' and she's like, 'No, how are you?' and I'm like, 'You're so sweet, but I'm really asking – how are YOU?'" Serena said, sharing the flow of their usual conversations. "I'm like, 'Meghan, stop being so nice … you're the pregnant one, aren't you supposed to have hormones, why are you so sweet?' But that's always been her." Last year, the tennis star welcomed her own first child with her husband Alexis Ohanian in Sept. 2017. And although Serena said she's been trying to share tips about pregnancy and motherhood with Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex "still gives me more advice" in the end. Asked what the best piece of advice she has shared with her friend was, Serena explained how when she was pregnant she didn't totally comprehend how everything was going to work and how her life would adapt. But when Alexis was born, Serena said, everything just came together. "It's so crazy, I totally changed, and it literally is like a switch,." she told the mag. "And so, I say that, 'It will come.'"
Kim Kardashian West's misstated quote about Kanye West's slavery comments won't air after all
A clip from the upcoming episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" that showed Kim Kardashian West misstating Kanye West's comments about slavery having been "a choice" will not appear on the show, according to TMZ. The website initially reported the clip was set to air, stressing that Kim had her facts wrong when she told her friends her husband had said, "Slavery was 400 years? If it's gonna be another 400 years, that sounds like a choice to me" during an interview in May. (What he actually said was: "When you hear about slavery for 400 years — for 400 years?! That sounds like a choice. Like, you was there for 400 years and it's all of y'all? It's like we're mentally imprisoned.") Insiders tell TMZ E! has pulled the clip, which was never approved to run to begin with because Kim understood that she'd mixed up the quote.
Tara Reid sues the producers of 'Sharknado' for $100M
After her mysteriously derailed press tour for "Sharknado," Tara Reid is suing the producers of the franchise for $100 million for allowing her face to be used on "Sharknado"-themed slot machines. Tara filed the lawsuit against Asylum Entertainment and SYFY Media Productions, on Friday, Dec. 6, according to court documents excerpted by The Blast, claiming the companies licensed Tara's image without her consent to the "manufacturers of slot machines, gambling products and beer makers, who in turn have marketed their product with her likeness, and continue to wrongfully trade and profit therefrom." She also points out that her contract for the franchise specified her face could not be used to promote tobacco, gambling, hygiene or sexual-related products. Photos from a 2016 "Sharknado" slot machine opening event in Las Vegas show Ian Ziering happily posing for photos in front of the gambling devices.
