Is Justin Bieber going through a 'spiritual awakening?'
New details have emerged about the connection between Justin Bieber's decision to cancel his remaining tour dates and the "religious enlightenment" TMZ has reported is behind the unexpected move. In a new report, the website claims Justin has been having an "intense" relationship with Hillsong church leader Carl Lentz. As a result of working through some of the things they're discussing, Justin opted to cancel the tour "based on spiritual soul-searching and his own view of the path in life he should be taking," according to the website. Said one insider: "He's becoming the Tom Cruise of that church."

Olivia Wilde sent Jennifer Lawrence a gift to make her feel better after she got sick at '1984'
It's nice to have friends in high places — like onstage at the Hudson Theater. After Jennifer Lawrence had to be escorted out of a performance of "1984" in New York City earlier this month, the show's star, Olivia Wilde, made sure Jen knew she was thinking about her by sending her a little "get well" gift. "Listen, she didn't need to apologize. I felt so bad and I sent her some Matzah ball soup and some bagels and she feels much better. She had a stomach flu, the poor thing walked in sick," Olivia told Andy Cohen this week on "Watch What Happens Live" (via Us Weekly). "She's feeling better thank the Lord because she's the best." Andy added that Jen was supposed to come to his taping of "WWHL" that night after "1984." She obviously had to change her plans. "She was going to watch the show that night," Andy said. "It was so random. Vicki Gunvalson was on and she really wanted to come on. Not even kidding. Isn't that crazy?"
Kim Kardashian faces beauty brand lawsuit
Is Kim Kardashian West's KKW Beauty line in danger? TMZ reports makeup artist Kirsten Kjaer Weiss has filed a lawsuit against Kim for what Kirsten calls "knowing, willing and deliberate" infringement of her KW cosmetics and makeup services brand. Despite Kim's reps' assurance that Kim spoke with multiple trademark attorneys before launching her line, Kristen maintains the "KUWTK" star intended to confuse consumers by using similar letters in her company's name in the hopes potential buyers might associate KKW products with those made by Kristen. In the suit, Kristen is asking that Kim be barred from using "KKW" in her brand's name. She also wants the profits from KKW Beauty — as well as damages.
Two years after Bobbi Kristina Brown's death, questions still linger
It's been two years since Bobbi Kristina Brown died at age 22. And while her boyfriend Nick Gordon was found liable in a wrongful death suit about the incident, her family's legal team is still working to answer questions about the events leading up to her being found unconscious in her bathtub and succumbing to a coma she would not survive. Speaking to E! News, the Browns' attorney Craig Terrett said he believes Nick "absolutely contributed to her death either by injecting her with drugs and putting her in a bathtub or allowing her to get into a bathtub in a state of intoxication and allowing her to die, leaving her there to die." According to Craig, Nick and Bobbi's friends Max Lomas and Danyela Bradley, who were in the house when Bobbi Kristina was found, said in sealed testimony they saw Nick "punch her in the face, knock her tooth loose" then "[knock] her to the ground and then continued to beat on her, kicking her while she was on the ground." Their account of his allegedly brutal behavior reportedly went on to say that "when she couldn't get up, he dragged her up the stairs by her hair and there was blood on the hallway, brought her into the bedroom and they continued to fight." The morning Bobbi Kristina was found in the tub, their testimony reportedly says, they had another fight that Max and Danyela saw. "Nick came home, from what we understand he was drinking, doing cocaine and marijuana," Criag tells E!, describing the friends' testimony. "He was accusing Bobby Kristina of various things. They got into a fight. They went upstairs. The fight continued. And then things went silent." Max went on to say he went to check on Bobbi Kristina eventually and found her in the tub. "He pulled her out and screamed for Nick and his girlfriend to come into the room and they put her on the floor," Craig recalls. "Nick came in and immediately started letting the water out of the bathtub and strangely there was a dustpan in the bottom of the bathtub. The water was ice cold and Bobby Kristina had been face down in it. One of the friends started CPR and then Nick got involved with that." Although Nick has said he was "traumatized" by finding her, Craig says Max and Danyela thought he was "acting very strangely" and "not saying much" besides encouraging them to "clean up." Said Craig: "… based on that behavior, I think the individuals in the home were suspicious that he gave her a high dose of heroin or some other drug and then put her in the bathtub."
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are going to be strict parents
When Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt's first child arrives in October, the little guy is going to have some serious guidelines to adhere to. "We're going to be strict. I will have a zero-tolerance rule: no tantrums, no screaming in restaurants," Heidi tells In Touch. Spencer, meanwhile says that while he'll "make rules," he also plans to "explain them, so my child understands why each one is in place." At the end of the day, though, it's going to be Heidi who makes sure the rules are followed. "Heidi will be the disciplinarian," Spencer says. "She'll only let them listen to Christian music, never my trap music! And she hates swearing, so that won't be allowed." The kicker? He joked that he's going to put a tracking chip in his son. "And I'm getting one of those leashes, not just for Disneyland though," he quipped. "I won't ever take it off." Yikes.
Christina Aguilera's son fills in for her at rehearsal
If Christina Aguilera ever needs a sub on tour, her son Max Bratman could probably cover for her. Xtina shared a video on Instagram this week showing her 9-year-old son "filling in for Mommy at rehearsal." As the singer's backup dancer rock out around him, Max knocks out some spins, a few jumps and kicks and even a breakdancing move while using a water bottle as his mic. Nothing like learning from the pros.
Mohamed Hadid sentenced to community service, probation
Gigi and Bella Hadid's dad is in hot water with the city of Los Angeles. Six years after he began building a massive mansion in Bel Air, the city discovered he didn't have permits for the size of the construction, which was being built on a hillside deemed unsafe to accommodate it. According to Glamour, he was ordered to stop work on the building — but he didn't. When neighbors began to complain about what they've started calling " the Starship Enterprise," the city intervened and sentenced Mohamed to 200 hours community service, fined him $3000, gave him three years' probation and ordered him to pay to make the hillside more stable. A lawyer for the millionaire told Glamour building is "as safe as any building that's ever been built."
Did Lisa Vanderpump stiff a dog rescue center owner out of thousands of dollars?
"They actively came after my rescue [shelter] and ruined me." That's how Lizzie Scherer of Saving Spot dog rescue described her interaction with Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd's Vanderpump Dog Foundation, which she says had her shelter closed and bilked her out of $32,000. "Ken approached us about doing a deal where they would essentially take over my facility," Lizzie tells the New York Post. "He was looking for a space to lease. We signed a [memo] saying that he would pay my rent for the next three years … and offer me an employment contract as part of that deal. He then didn't pay rent and said he'd pay one month's rent as long as I signed [a nondisclosure agreement] and let them out" of it. Lisa, however, has a different take. Lizzie reportedly lost her nonprofit tax-exempt status in 2015 for "improperly accepting donations and not filing taxes." "We can't be involved with someone who doesn't have a charity set up properly," Lisa explained. "Everything was messy. We helped pay her rent. We were purely trying to help her because of our love of dogs, not because of our love of Lizzie. No good deed goes unpunished." Lisa and Ken opened a dog rescue, adoption and grooming center affiliated with their foundation earlier this year .
Robert Pattinson says he was almost fired from 'Twilight' for not smiling enough
"Twilight" could have ended up being made with a different star vampire. In a new interview with Howard Stern, Robert Pattinson says he was almost fired for not being super smiley. "If you're going into a relationship with someone, the way to make it really intense is if you can barely talk to each other, you can barely touch each other — it's incredibly serious all time. That's what teenage relationships are," he says (via E! News). "But everyone kind of wanted it to be like, 'No they should just be like happy and having fun. That's what people want.' Robert continued, "I remember the producers giving me the copy of the book, and every single instance where my character smiled and stuff they'd highlighted everything. I got a different color highlighter and highlighted every time he frowned. I thought I was pretty safe. And [the producers] were like you've got to do the opposite of what you're doing now or you're going to get fired today … I came back after lunch and was like, 'Hi!' I was probably going a little too miserable, so there was some kind of compromise made." This spring, Robert revealed he was almost fired for "fighting with everybody in control all the time." Maybe take it down a notch, there, Edward Cullen.
Anna Faris kind of likes having her marriage to Chris Pratt labeled 'relationship goals'
Having your relationship in the spotlight is taxing. For Anna Faris and her husband Chris Pratt, there's also something nice about it. Asked how she reacts to having her marriage get hashtagged with the phrase "relationship goals," she recently told Bustle, "It's really f—— weird. It's wonderful, but you kind of feel like you're the little things on top of a massive wedding cake …" Still, she finds upsides to it. "I love being in love, and I love that our relationship inspires people," she said. "And Chris and I laugh all the time — we have this amazing inside joke about how we're just a couple of hometown kids who sort of stumbled into this weirdness, and I love that we can look at each other and be like, 'Ah, yup, this is crazy.'"
