Katharine McPhee and David Foster joke about their age difference onstage
Newlywed lovebirds Katharine McPhee and David Foster have never had much time for critics of their 34-year age difference. But when David joined Katharine onstage during two of her performances this on the Vacaya LGBTQ cruise to Provincetown, Mass., this week, they both even got cheeky about it. "I don't know if you noticed or not, but there's a bit of an age difference between the two of us," David said, according to Page Six. "But on this cruise," he playfully added, "nobody gives a sβ-β-β-." The crowd apparently loved it, so the next night when the 69-year-old music producer joined his 35-year-old wife onstage, he repeated the comment, inspiring Katharine to chime in with her two cents, as well. "He did the same thing during her second show," said a source, "except she added a 'Go fββ yourself' to go along with his 'Nobody gives a sβ-β-β-' comment." Kristen Chenoweth was on board the cruise as well. According to Playbill, she and Katharine teamed up for a rendition of "For Good" from "Wicked," as well.

'Empire' crew spotted filming one block from where Jussie Smollett claimed to have been attacked
Is "Empire" going to address Jussie Smollett's alleged homophobic and racially-fueled attack on the final season of the show? It sure looks that way to NBC Chicago, which reports an "Empire" crew filmed something one block from where Jussie claimed to have been assaulted in January. Police have since said they believe he staged the incident. A production team for the show, which Jussie will not return to, reportedly got a permit to shoot near McClurg and North Water Streets from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 14. According to Page Six, there's been no official word about referencing the real-life Jussie controversy when "Empire" returns, but Fox Entertainment CEO Charlie Collie told press last week there would be some "surprises at the beginning of the season" and that Jussie's character, Jamal, has been written out of the script with the explanation that he's on his honeymoon. Jussie is now facing a lawsuit filed by the city of Chicago, which wants him to pay for the investigation they conducted into the attack.
Shannen Doherty: 'Your body never fully bounces back' from cancer
Shannen Doherty was thrilled to have the opportunity to work with so many of the actors she launched her career with in the '90s while shooting "BH90210." She's also grateful for the experience, as she has been for so many others since her cancer went into remission. "I don't think you're ever on the other side [of cancer]," The 47-year-old tells People in a new interview. "I don't think about the fact that I'm in remission. I look at it like I'm lucky to be alive every minute, every second of the day." She went in to explain that there's still been a learning curve when it comes to those around her and their understanding of how the disease affects a person's body. "I really took good care of myself, and I came out of it in as good of condition I think somebody [in my situation] could be in. But the funny thing with cancer is that once you're no longer on chemo or radiation, people think you're fine, that you bounce back," she says. "But what they don't realize is that your body has been through something so incredibly difficult that your body never fully bounces back." Adding that her work on the set of 'BH90210' "has taken a toll," however. "I'm exhausted, she admits. "And I'm really terrible with self-care. When I'm at work, I have a tunnel vision mentality."
