On Tuesday, March 17, she shared a photo of the two cuddling, mid-self-quarantine, along with an update and gentle reminder that staying home can save the lives of those who might otherwise not survive COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus. "Day 6 of self-quarantining! Going strong, playing video games and cards, and taking care of ourselves," she captioned the shot. "Important reminder: keep your mind as stress free as possible and your body moving. #selflove #selfcare #bekind try not to pass it in case you have it #corona it's ok and so wonderful to stay home if you can!What a kind act for the world ❤️." As of this week, Gaga's scheduled performances in Last Vegas beginning in May are still on.

As the U.S. and Canada close their border to all non-essential traffic, Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Bieber have headed back to Canada from Los Angeles, a source close to the singer tells People. "They plan on staying in Canada until it's safe for everyone to resume their regular lives," the insider said. Justin and Hailey reportedly flew to their other home on a private jet on Monday, March 16. "They plan on socially distancing themselves," said the source. "In Canada, their home is very secluded and they are able to be out in nature still." Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's wife tested positive for coronavirus last week.

Katy Perry wins appeal in 'Dark Horse' copyright suit

Katy Perry just scored a major win in her ongoing copyright infringement suit over "Dark Horse." Christian rapper Marcus Gray and his songwriting team sued Perry for $2.8 million in damages back in 2014 on grounds she plagiarised an eight-note section of her hit from their song, "Joyful Noise." Perry and her five collaborators, including Juicy J., were slammed by the judge, who ordered the singer to pay $500,000. Perry's lawyer then appealed the decision. This week, Judge Christina Snyder nixed the jury's verdict and ruled that the section Gray claimed is stolen was "not a particularly unique or rare combination" in music, according to the Guardian. She essentially went with the argument made by Perry's attorney, Christine Lepera, that Gray was "trying to own basic building blocks of music, the alphabet of music that should be available to everyone." The Guardian reports Gray plans to appeal the latest decision.

Russell Wilson and Ciara donate one million meals to Seattle food bank

One million meals are on their way to a food bank in Seattle, courtesy of Ciara and Russell Wilson. The couple announced on social media this week that they've teamed up with Seattle Food Lifeline to "hopefully make a difference" to those struggling to eat during the coronavirus pandemic by covering the cost of the meals, according to Bazaar. "We want to encourage everyone out there to join us in whatever way that you can, big or small," Ciara said in the clip. "Everything makes a difference. Everything that we do together makes a difference." The couple's announcement comes on the heels of similar food bank donation pledges made this week by Ben Affleck, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

Urging his followers to "take care of ourselves and each other" and not "go to the lowest common denominator and get paranoid," Matthew McConaughey laid out a framework for the next steps we can all take to make the world a little brighter while we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. "Let's do our due diligence, take the precautions we need to take care of ourselves and those around us," he said.
