Mariah Carey's former manager threatens to sue, claims singer sexually harassed her

Just a year ago, Mariah Carey was on such good terms with her then-manager, Stella Bulochnikov-Stolper, that she threw her a birthday party where she presented her with a $34,000 Louis Vuitton trunk as a gift. Shortly after the bash, Mariah unexpectedly fired Stella, along with a slew of other longtime employees. Now, Stella's going after Mimi for money she believes she's owed from their long-running, now defunct professional relationship, which she claims was cut short by the firing. Stella recently filed documents announcing she intends to sue Mariah for violation of the U.S. Civil Rights Act, a Violation of the Fair Employment and Housing Act and breach of contract, according to TMZ. The suit reportedly hinges on "a huge amount of money" Stella says she's still owed for her work. The website also reports Stella says she was sexually harassed by Mariah, whom she claims was regularly naked around her and "did sexual things in [Stella's] presence." Finally, Stella has reportedly accused Mariah of having a substance abuse problem and failing to take her medication for bipolar disorder. A rep for Mariah has already denied Stella's assertions are valid, telling TMZ: "If this frivolous and baseless claim is filed, we will defend against it vigorously and successfully."

Demi Lovato's mom has no doubt Wilmer Valderrama still loves her daughter. Dianna De La Garza opened up about Demi's serious relationship with Wilmer in a recent appearance on "Millennial Hollywood with Dakota T. Jones." During the chat, Dianna admitted that it took her some time to warm up to Wilmer. Once she got to know the actor better, she said it was painful for her — and everyone else in their family — to see the two call it quits in 2016 after nearly six years together. Explaining how her feelings about Wilmer changed, Dianne said she initially wanted to spend the time with Demi and felt she had to "share it" with Wilmer. "At one time I was like, 'You know, I like you, but I'm not sure I want you to be together,' you know?" she recalled, according to People. "[Of] course you can't not like him…he's so likable and just a lovely human being." Finally, Dianna decided to give Wilmer a chance since she thought wedding bells were in their future. "We had all hung out, but I hadn't really made that effort. And once I made that effort, I really came to really truly love him as a person — and as a person that I really wanted to be in our family," Dianna said. "He was just so gracious and caring, and he still is to this day. I believe he loves her, and she loves him," she added. "I think Demi came to a point where she wanted to make some decisions in her life, and when that happened, it just really broke us all. I mean we were just so upset."

When Beyonce brought Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland onstage at Coachella for a three-song medley of a Destiny's Child reunion, even former Destiny's Child member LaTavia Roberson was cheering them on. "It's OK to love DC3 DC4 DC5. Those ladies last night went out there and gave themselves to the pppl and that's what it's about the fans love the music," she wrote in a post on Instagram over the weekend, referencing the different variations of Destiny's Child through the years." LaTavia, who was an original member of the group and has known Beyonce and Kelly since elementary school, also reiterated that she was happy to see her former bandmates together again. "I know the fans want a DC5 reunion but it's all in timing I support every last one of those ladies that performed last night," she wrote. "I saw Lil sis Solange giving that H-Town style so let's just enjoy 2018 Thank you for the love and support #TeamLovers." LaTavia and former member LaToya Luckett infamously sued Matthew Knowles and the other members of the group back in 2000; they later withdrew the suit against the other singers and settled with Bey's dad.

A kinder, gentler Kanye West is back on Twitter. After ditching the social media platform last spring, Yeezus was back in action as of Friday, April 13, and his tweets over the weekend suggest he might stick around this time — at least long enough to see the new footwear and neck tat designs he has in the works to fruition. In addition to posting images of shoe designs and a "Saint West" tattoo idea his friend designed for him, the rapper shared a pic of himself alongside his former brother-in-law, Lamar Odom. "My favorite moment of walking into MSG to play Saint Pablo, I used to go to the hospital and play Lamar the album when he was learning to walk and talk again Then we walked into the arena together," he captioned the shot. Other tweets have been less straightforward (and more classic Kanye): "Some people have to work within the existing consciousness while some people can shift the consciousness," he mused in one tweet. In another, he wrote, "often people working with the existing consciousness are jealous of those who are more in touch and they become hard-core capitalist in hopes of creating the illusion that the value of money is worth more than the value of time and friends." In February, he briefly reactivated the Instagram account he'd deleted in 2017. He deleted the reactivated account one day later. Welcome back, Yeezy! At least, for now …

Prince's heirs have yet to collect a dime from his estate as another hearing looms

There could be a settlement this week in at least one part of the complicated legal proceedings Prince's estate has been mired in since his death nearly two years ago. A hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, April 18. And though much of the information contained in documents related to the hearing's agenda have been kept under wraps, Page Six suggests the hearing could involve a settlement on the estate's copyright violation lawsuit against Roc Nation and the Tidal streaming service. In the meantime, Prince's six heirs (his siblings) have not collected anything from their late brother's estimated $200 million estate, which appears to be dwindling monthly as lawyers, bankers and consultants collect their fees for working out the kinks associated with working out deals for the future use of Prince's music, videos, assets, studio and more, according to Page Six. The heirs can't collect anything until the value of the entire estate is determined and the IRS and state of Minnesota get their cut. The estate's executor, Comerica Bank and Trust, had already been paid at least $5.9 million out of the estate as of last month. Last week, the heirs, who have otherwise been mostly divided regarding issues related to the estate, all objected to an "entertainment transaction" that appears to be proceeding despite the heirs' claim it would be "an embarrassment to Prince's legacy." When Prince died on April 21, 2016, he left no will, which reportedly caused many of the headaches his siblings are now facing.

Azealia Banks says she was drugged and raped over the weekend

Azealia Banks is struggling after an incident in which she says she was drugged and sexually assaulted. "Lowkey just got raped. I feel like dirt," she wrote in an Instagram story (via Page Six). The singer went on to share videos of herself talking in a dark room that give an account of what happened on Saturday, April 14. "We were just hanging out and one thing led to another," she can be heard saying in one of them (via the Daily Mail). "I just feel really dumb, because it was partially my fault … I just want to f—— disappear right now." She goes on to say she was pushed into a confusing situation and that she's sure a roofie was put in her drink. "Men can just prey on you … force you to say yes… to the point where you feel like you gave consent but you didn't give s—," she says through audible tears. "What is even in a roofie?" she asks. "I've never felt that type of intoxication in my life. I woke up my throat was in pins and needles. It's under control now my brothers and friends are here. I'm going to be fine don't panic guys. I love you. I def got drugged in my drink but I'm waking up again." Azealia initially said she was deleting her social media accounts and taking a break from music, although her Instagram was still online as of Monday morning.

Are The Weeknd and Bella Hadid back on?

The Weeknd's mid-set tears during his Coachella set on Friday, April 13, had fans tweeting up a storm about their concern that the singer is still hurting after his split from Selena Gomez. That pain appeared to have passed by the end of the night, though. According to People, The Weeknd's attention seemed totally focused on another ex, Bella Hadid, after his set when the two stopped by the festival's Poppy's nightclub pop-up. "The Weeknd and Bella were sitting on each other's laps and all over each other all night long. They definitely looked like they were fully back together," a partygoer told People. Whether the two are back on or not, The Weeknd definitely seems to be thinking about previous relationships a lot lately. On his new album, My Dear Melancholy, the singer croons at one point about an "equestrian" girl in what seems to be a reference to Bella, a serious horseback rider. At least two other songs contain references that sound like he's singing about Selena, whom he dated after calling time on his nearly two-year relationship with Bella in November 2016. Their PDA hang comes on the heels of rumors the two were in touch again.

Maya Thurman Hawke opens up about 'Little Women' PBS series

Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke's 19-year-old daughter, Maya Thurman Hawke, is following in her parents' acting footsteps with two new projects headed to the small screen. As she told the audience during a panel discussion at Deadline's The Contenders Emmy event on Sunday, April 15, Maya completed filing a new PBS rendition of the Louise May Alcott book, "Little Women," which premieres May 13. "I had a remarkable time. I made some of the best friends of my life," she said of the experience. "It was a great honor." Maya, who dropped out of Juilliard to take the role of Jo March in the book, recently told Elle she felt like she'd been "preparing for this character my entire life," noting that Jo was "an inspiration" to her after she read the book in eighth grade. In addition to the PBS series, Maya's set to appear as "an alternative girl" named Robin in Season 3 of "Stranger Things." Prior to launching her acting career, Maya was focused on modeling.

Prince Harry shouts out Meghan Markle in CHOGM Youth Forum keynote

As his wedding date grows closer, Prince Harry can't wait to team up with Meghan Markle on some of his official royal duties — particularly in his new role as Commonwealth Youth Ambassador. In a keynote address at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting Youth Forum on April 16, 2018 in London, Harry gave his fiancee a loving shout-out when he announced, "I am incredibly grateful that the woman I am about to marry, Meghan, will be joining me in this work, of which she too is hugely excited to take part in." According to People, Harry said he and Meghan are slated to visit various Commonwealth and hold meetings where they'll "discuss how best we can make Commonwealth platforms work for you, and to ensure maximum impact." The prince also invoked the work of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, who appointed him to the new role, in which he's tasked with supporting and helping to develop "the work and aspirations of young people across the Commonwealth," according to a press release from the royal family. "On the day of her 21st birthday, the then-Princess Elizabeth gave an extraordinary radio address from Cape Town. With an eye on the future, and an already unflinching sense of duty, she made a commitment," Harry told the delegates who had convened for the meeting. "She said that whether her life be long or short, it would be dedicated to the service of the people of the Commonwealth," he continued. "From that speech in 1947 onwards, she has known that young people really make the difference. Her call to action was for her fellow young people to lead the way in making the Commonwealth a 'more free, more prosperous, more happy and a more powerful influence for good in the world.'"

Chris and Morgane Stapleton welcome twins

One of the big winners at the ACM Awards on Sunday, April 15, wasn't on hand to pick up his trophies for Album of the Year (for From A Room, Vol. 1) and Best Male Vocalist. That's because he was busy at home in Nashville, Tenn., with his wife, Morgane, who just gave birth to twins. "Those little rascals came a little bit early," Reba McEntire said of the couple's new additions during one of the awards presentations (via the Daily Mail). "Hot off the press!… Twin boys," she added. The twins are Chris and Morgane's third and fourth children — they also have a son and a daughter.
