Miley Cyrus files to trademark 'Bandit and Bardot,' sparking Cody Simpson project rumors
Between her divorce and recent vocal cord surgery, it's understandable that the world has yet to see the three new EPs Miley Cyrus promised were in the works back in May. Thanks to some sleuth-work by Rolling Stone, however, it looks as if Miley's next music project could be taking shape — and it seems to involve her boyfriend, Cody Simpson. The magazine reports Miley's Smiley Miley Inc. applied to trademark the name Bandit and Bardot on Dec. 1. The application specifies Miley wants to use the name for, "entertainment services, namely, live musical performances by a musical band; entertainment services, namely, live performances by professional singer, musician, and entertainer [and] entertainment, namely, live music concerts." The application also requests a trademark for use of musical recordings in various formats as well as cases for phones and other electronic devices. The mag also noticed a new Instagram account called Bandit and Bardot. Miley and her singer/songwriter beau are the only people followed by the account, according to Rolling Stone. Miley and Cody were first linked this fall. So far, reps for the two have not commented.

Emma Watson is hiding copies of 'Little Women' in 38 countries around the world
The cast of Greta Gerwig's acclaimed adaptation of "Little Women" has been dutifully making press tour appearances this month — except for Emma Watson. Instead, the actress and UN Women Goodwill Ambassador has been bringing attention to the film in her own way, by hiding copies of the book on which the film is based all over the world. "I'm excited to reveal a global effort with @bookfairiesworldwide to hide 2,000 copies of Little Women!" Emma shared on Instagram over the weekend. "#LWBookFairies starts today and features over a hundred different editions of Louisa May Alcott's classic novel to celebrate the release of #LittleWomenMovie, every one of which has a special note from me inside," she continued. "38 countries are involved in the campaign, and it's going to be the largest book fairy event ever – follow the hashtag to see where they are being hidden over the next few days!" She closed with the hashtag, "ibelieveinbookfairies," and shared black and white photos of herself placing the books on statues and memorials dedicated to women including a bust of the famed British World War II secret agent Noor Inayat Khan. Emma's previously hidden copies of Margaret Atwood's "The Handmaid's Tale" and works by Maya Angelou and Gloria Steinem.
Kim Kardashian weighs in on Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott's relationship status
It may look like Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are on the verge of getting back together — if not already there — but Kim Kardashian West is pretty sure the pair are simply doing a great job as co-parents. Kim stopped by "Ellen" on Tuesday, Dec. 17, where Ellen DeGeneres asked, point-blank if the two were on again. "No, I honestly don't know. But I think that they are really just close friends and co-parenting amazingly," Kim said, referring to the former couple's daughter, Stormi (via E! News). Kylie and Travis announced they were taking a break in October. Since then, they've celebrated events like Thanksgiving together. Over the weekend, they attended Diddy's 50th birthday bash together, as well. When Ellen asked if the diamond ring Kylie's been wearing recently was a gift from Travis, Kim shrugged that off, too. "The big ring, definitely they're not engaged," she told the host. "And I think she's wearing it on a different finger. I do know that she—I think she bought that herself…But, yeah, I don't know the status if they're together or not. I don't think they are."
The Olsen twins were not invited to appear on the final season of 'Fuller House'
Turns out there was never much of a chance Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen would reprise their role as Michelle Tanner on the final season of "Fuller House." According to E! News, Candace Cameron Bure recently told TVLine the team "did not reach out to" the twins about getting involved. "It was very clear several seasons ago that they did not want to do it," she explained. The sisters did, however, tell Women's Wear Daily back in 2015 when the series was announced that they wanted more information about it from the show's creators. They also said at the time that they'd get in touch with John Stamos and Bob Saget to find out why they weren't in the loop; John later said he "was told they were asked" and that when they "got upset" he called Mary-Kate to discuss the plan for the show. He said at the time he told the twins he'd "love for them to be on there and they decided not to."
Ashley Judd: Harvey Weinstein is trying 'to put toxic shame onto survivor victims'
Ashley Judd has a few more thoughts to share about Harvey Weinstein's controversial new interview with the New York Post. The actress, who has accused the former producer of trying to sabotage her career after she rejected his attempts to have her give him a massage and watch him shower during a meeting in a hotel room, was among the 23 Weinstein accusers who signed an open letter slamming him for "trying to gaslight society" with his comments. On Tuesday, Dec. 17, she expanded on the statement with some personal notes on Twitter. "What Harvey Weinstein has said in the @nypost on #PageSix is a classic example of DARVO. Denying. Attacking. Reversing. Victim. Order," she posted. "It is a predatorial strategy that seeks to shift attention away from his criminal behavior and put his toxic shame onto survivor victims." In the interview with the Post, Weinstein took credit for supporting women's careers, saying: "I made more movies directed by women and about women than any filmmaker, and I'm talking about 30 years ago. I'm not talking about now when it's vogue. I did it first! I pioneered it!" He has denied all allegations of sexual assault and rape. His trial for charges stemming from two separate accusers' claims begins in early January.

Angelina Pivarnick confirms she'll stay on 'Jersey Shore' in spite of bridesmaids' comments
The hurtful things Snooki, Jenni "JWoww" Farley and Deena Cortese said about their "Jersey Shore" costar Angelina Pivarnick while serving as her bridesmaids in November won't deter Angelina from sticking with the series. Speaking to Page Six this week, she said she's still enjoying being part of the cast in spite of what happened at her wedding. "I'm not quitting the show," she told the outlet. The comments were supposedly meant to be funny but Angelina reportedly felt they ruined her day. "I don't know what the future holds for me with everything, but I like the way things are coming out — it's just that one thing," she said, noting that she's gotten lots of support from fans since the incriminating audio of the bridesmaids' speech leaked online. "[My husband] is like, 'I'm glad that people are seeing you for who you are,' because nobody really did years ago, because I was on such a short amount of time, but now I love it. At least people think I'm funny now. I'm actually funny in real life. It's so much better," she said. As for her critics, she said she'll "never change" who she is. "That's just what makes me me," she said. "I'm very genuine to who I am, and I'm sorry if people don't like me now … But there's so much more support, and I thank everybody for that. I really do."

Lizzo is out of the woods! The singer's been so sick with the flu she was forced to cancel two shows this week, one in Boston and a second in Hartford, Connecticut. But on Tuesday, Dec . 17, she shared a selfie with a thermometer that read 98.3. "NO MORE FEVER THANK U GOD," she tweeted. "Thank y'all for the kind words and prayers that really helped." She'd been sharing updates about her progress on her Instagram Story, including videos of a doctor taking a swab test of her mouth and nose. At one point, she told fans and followers she's "never been this sick." "I hate letting my fans down more than anything," she shared after canceling the tour dates. "I hope that you all can forgive me while I recover and I promise we are doing everything we can to make it up to you. ❤️," she added.
Liam Hemsworth sued for copyright infringement
Liam Hemsworth is the latest celeb to be hit with a lawsuit for posting a photo of himself on social media. E! News reports Splash News and Picture Agency filed suit against the star for copyright infringement after noticing he "or someone acting on his behalf" posted a photo on Instagram that was taken by a Splash photographer that showed Liam performing in a scene on the set of the film, "Isn't It Romantic." The July 2018 post included a tag to the film's website, according to court documents, which allege the post was used in connection to a push for Teen Choice Movie Awards votes. Calling Liam's use of the photo to promote the film without proper rights, "willful, intentional, and malicious," the plaintiff asserts such copyright infringement is liable for up to $150,000 per incident. Reps for Liam have yet to comment. Katy Perry was sued for the same amount for using an old photo on her Instagram earlier this year.
