Not guilty plea

They're rolling the dice! After passing on a plea deal, on April 15, Lori Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering in a college admissions cheating scam. Prosecutors allege the actress and the designer paid $500,000 to get their two daughters accepted into the University of Southern California by falsely designating them as crew team recruits. "[Lori and her husband] claim they were under the impression they might be breaking rules, but not laws," a source told "Entertainment Tonight." "They feel they were manipulated by those involved and are planning that as part of their defense…They realize how serious the charges are, but feel that once the judge hears their story, he will see they had no bad intentions."

Baby surprise

Surprise! Hoda Kotb is a mother of two. The "Today" show host revealed on April 16 that she's adopted a second baby she's named Hope Catherine. "It's a girl," she said in a phone interview with her "Today" co-hosts. "I'm feeding her and I can't believe it. I'm so happy she's here!" an emotional Hoda said. The NBC star is already a mother to 2-year-old Haley Joy. "She was literally marching around saying, 'I'm a big sister!'" Hoda said. "It's amazing. I can't believe it's happening."

The writing was on the wall, and now Wendy Williams' estranged husband, Kevin Hunter, is no longer affiliated with "The Wendy Williams Show." On April 18, a representative from the Executive Office for Immigration Review told Page Six that "the Board of Immigration Appeals dismissed Giuseppe Giudice's case appeal on April 11, 2019. In dismissing the case, the BIA affirmed the immigration judge's decision of removal dated Oct. 10, 2018." The "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star's attorneys are trying one last move to keep him in America. "We have filed a stay with the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and will continue to fight to keep Mr. Giudice in the United States, the only country he knows, and reunite him with his wife and four daughters," Joe's attorney stated. His wife, Teresa Giudice, has said she'll divorce Joe — who's been in Immigrations and Customs Enforcement lockup since finishing a three-year federal fraud prison sentence in March — if he's sent back to his native Italy.

Clean-shaven star
