Not guilty plea
They're rolling the dice! After passing on a plea deal, on April 15, Lori Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering in a college admissions cheating scam. Prosecutors allege the actress and the designer paid $500,000 to get their two daughters accepted into the University of Southern California by falsely designating them as crew team recruits. "[Lori and her husband] claim they were under the impression they might be breaking rules, but not laws," a source told "Entertainment Tonight." "They feel they were manipulated by those involved and are planning that as part of their defense…They realize how serious the charges are, but feel that once the judge hears their story, he will see they had no bad intentions."

He's gone
The writing was on the wall, and now Wendy Williams' estranged husband, Kevin Hunter, is no longer affiliated with "The Wendy Williams Show." Kevin was an executive producer on the daytime talk show since its inception in 2008. Earlier in the week, The Blast reported that Kevin was negotiating a huge settlement in his divorce from Wendy that also includes a severance package for leaving her show. On April 11, Wendy filed for divorce from her husband of nearly 22 years. Prior to the split, there were rumors of his infidelity and unconfirmed reports that Kevin fathered a child with another woman. On April 16, Kevin broke his silence, saying in a statement, "I am not proud of my recent actions and take full accountability and apologize to my wife, my family and her amazing fans. I am going through a time of self-reflection and am trying to right some wrongs."
Surprise album
Just Beyonce, doing Beyonce things. On April 17, not only was Beyonce's concert film "Homecoming" released on Netflix, but the leader of the Beyhive also dropped surprise new music, "Homecoming: The Live Album," which features 40 songs and acts as a counterpart to the film, which celebrates her groundbreaking 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival performance. Naturally, fans went crazy. Fun fact: A cover of 1981's "Before I Let Go" is on the album, and it's in the movie as a surprise at the end of the credits.
Law life
Kim Kardashian West's desire to become a lawyer hasn't come without some sacrifices in her personal life. In an Instagram post on April 15, Kim said she had to "disconnect" with many people in her orbit. "For anyone assuming this is the easy way out, it's not. My weekends are spent away from my kids while I read and study. I work all day, put my kids to bed and spend my nights studying," she wrote. "There are times I feel overwhelmed and when I feel like I can't do it but I get the pep talks I need from the people around me supporting me. I changed my number last year and disconnected from everyone because I have made this strict commitment to follow a dream of mine — It's never too late to follow your dreams." Kim, by the way, just aced one of her legal tests and already has a standing job offer with famed attorney Robert Shapiro if she passes the bar exam.
Deportation appeal ruling
Joe Giudice's deportation appeal has been denied, meaning that his days in the United States are limited. On April 18, a representative from the Executive Office for Immigration Review told Page Six that "the Board of Immigration Appeals dismissed Giuseppe Giudice's case appeal on April 11, 2019. In dismissing the case, the BIA affirmed the immigration judge's decision of removal dated Oct. 10, 2018." The "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star's attorneys are trying one last move to keep him in America. "We have filed a stay with the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and will continue to fight to keep Mr. Giudice in the United States, the only country he knows, and reunite him with his wife and four daughters," Joe's attorney stated. His wife, Teresa Giudice, has said she'll divorce Joe — who's been in Immigrations and Customs Enforcement lockup since finishing a three-year federal fraud prison sentence in March — if he's sent back to his native Italy.
Clean-shaven star
Guess who that is?! That, ladies and gentlemen, is a clean-shaven Jason Momoa. On April 17, the actor uploaded a video to YouTube that showed him shaving off his trademark beard. Jason thinks it's the first time he's shaved in seven years! So, why did he do this? He wants to raise awareness of the importance of using recyclable aluminum cans over plastic water bottles. "Plastics are killing our planet," he said.
Scary incident
Jason Biggs' 5-year-old son, Sid, suffered a broken skull after the actor's wife, author Jenny Mollen, accidentally dropped him. "On Saturday evening, I dropped my son on his head causing him to fracture his skull and landing him in the ICU," Jenny revealed on Instagram on April 18. "I am forever grateful to Lenox hill downtown and @nyphospital for their immediate response and aid… It has been a traumatic week but Sid is home now taking things slowly and recovering nicely. He is also eating a lot of chocolate dipped ice cream cones and plans to try cherry dipped soon. My heart goes out to all parents who have or will ever find themselves in this kind of position. You are not alone…"
Bipolar reveal
Bebe Rexha revealed on Twitter on April 15 that she is bipolar. "For the longest time, I didn't understand why I felt so sick," the pop star tweeted. "Why I felt lows that made me not want to leave my house or be around people and why I felt highs that wouldn't let me sleep, wouldn't let me stop working or creating music. Now I know why." She then added, "I'm bipolar and I'm not ashamed anymore. That is all. (Crying my eyes out.)." The Grammy-nominated singer went on to proclaim that her next album will be her best because she's no longer "holding anything back." She added, "I don't want you to feel sorry for me. I just want you to accept me. That's all. Love you."
Payday
Ariana Grande over Beyonce? Financially there's no argument. According to Variety, Ariana pulled in $8 million to headline Coachella, more than double what Beyonce made for her headlining gig the previous year. Ariana is the youngest singer to headline the festival. The Beyhive didn't take the financial slight lightly, and sounded off. "Ariana Grande being paid more than Beyoncé for Coachella is absurd," one person said,
