We at Wonderwall.com have put together our latest list of all the ways the stars are nothing like us, starting with Kim Kardashian West. The reality TV queen reportedly made $10 million on the first day of the online-only sale of her new gardenia-inspired crystal-bottled perfume line! That's right, customers weren't even able to smell the three fragrances before buying them on her website in mid-November 2017. Only 300,000 bottles were produced, which means that if they all sell out as expected, Kim will net an additional $4 million. Talk about business savvy!

Most of us have to incorporate a little running, walking, dancing or some form of cardio to lose a mere 5 pounds. Not so with pop icon Janet Jackson! The "Control" singer lost 70 pounds without doing any cardio after the birth of her son, Eissa Al Mana. Janet's trainer Paulette Sybliss told E! News that the singer primarily used weights. "We were doing three or four exercises with weights back to back," Paulette said. "What that does — you would look at her and think she'd done like an hour of cardio with me — but when you're working with weights and you're working the muscle that way, it elevates the heart rate, but also it's creating that fat burning effect both during the session and also when she left me, and that was key."

Most of us would chose $1.3 million over a few hours of gardening, but not Adele! The British star reportedly turned down two private, lucrative gigs so she could garden and relax at home. Singer Guy Sebastian, who's a judge on "The X Factor Australia," told the Daily Star that Adele was not interested. "I was with Adele's agent and two gigs offered her a $1.3 million deal to perform," Guy said. "Her agent said, 'Nah, she's not doing it. She's busy gardening this week. [She's] often weeding these days.'" Self-care is important too!

Retired NBA player Shaquille O'Neal and his ex-wife, "Basketball Wives" creator Shaunie O'Neal, spent nearly a million bucks on their daughter Amirah's sweet 16 soiree on Nov. 12, 2017, TMZ reported. The birthday bash took place at the W Hotel in Hollywood and featured a performance by rapper YG. The former couple also gifted their daughter with a brand-new Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen!

The British monarchy (the actual institution led by the queen, not family members as private citizens) was recently valued at over $88 billion, according to a November 2017 report by business consultancy Brand Finance. The monarchy's tangible assets, which include the crown jewels, crown estate, Duchies of Lancaster and Cornwall and more, make up $33 billion of the total net worth, according to the report. The remaining $55 billion is the anticipated contribution to the U.K. national economy in coming years.

The former Spice Girl, who's reportedly been dealing with a personal financial crisis as her divorce from Stephen Belafonte moves forward, believes she's in the right position to request more money from Simon Cowell and company. If she's awarded the extra cash for the next installment of the show, her earnings would top $2.9 million a season. "Mel feels that she is in a very strong position to wrangle a pay rise from Simon," an insider told the Mirror, which reported the pay raise news. "She was an integral part of the show's success, with so much being written about her life and then talked about after the broadcasts."
Actress Jennifer Garner decided to walk her pet on a leash through the streets of Los Angeles in early November. But unlike most of us, she wasn't walking a dog. The "What About Us" singer performed her song "Beautiful Trauma" while suspended outside the 34-floor JW Marriott Hotel in downtown Los Angeles during the American Music Awards on Nov. 19, 2017. Pink was strapped to a harness and sang, flipped and bounded her way up and down the tall building at 90-degree angles. Clearly the pop sensation is not afraid of heights. "This tops anything she's ever done," AMA host Tracee Ellis Ross said during the telecast.
