Jennifer Lopez has been down the marriage road three times before, but that didn't stop her from accepting fiancé Alex Rodriguez's recent proposal. "I always planned to get married again," she revealed after performing on the "Today" show on Monday, May 6. "I want to spend my life with somebody. I want to grow old with somebody. I think that's the goal, right? To find a partner to kinda walk through this crazy thing with." The "World of Dance" judge joked of her failed romances, adding, "trust me, I tried before," but knew she and Alex were a perfect match. "We just complement each other," she said. "He's super supportive. He allows me to be who I am. I want him to shine in the greatest way possible and to be his best self. And we just help each other be better people, in a way." Jennifer, who shares 11-year-old twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony, thinks she and Alex work because of their shared values and experiences. "We love our families. We're very similar, as well," she continued. "We grew up the same. We kinda both got in the public eye very young. We both had kind of our hard moments in the public eye, but at the same time, we keep coming back." Alex also has two kids from his first marriage, daughters Natasha, 14, and Ella, 11, and Jenny says he's great with their whole brood. "He's like the dad with the camera," she laughed of the former baseball pro, who often posts candid photos of their blended family on Instagram. Alex popped the question with a massive 16-carat sparkler during a couple's getaway to the Bahamas in March.

'Empire' co-stars rallying to get Jussie Smollett back on set
Jussie Smollett's "Empire" co-stars reportedly want him back in the mix after being absolved from claims he staged a racist and homophobic attack on himself in Chicago earlier this year. On Monday, May 6, an insider told TMZ that some of the show's cast members, including Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard, have been going to bat for Jussie with FOX execs in order to get him back on the roster full-time. Jussie was written out of the upcoming sixth season after his arrest, but his TV pals believe he deserves his spot back since his case was dismissed and all 16 felony charges were dropped by the State Attorney in March. Still, the drama isn't quite over for Jussie, who's now wrapped up in a civil lawsuit with the city over the extensive costs incurred to investigate the incident. Chicago's Police Superintendent slammed the attacks as a "publicity stunt."

Norah O'Donnell leaving 'CBS This Morning' amid Gayle King drama
CBS is making some major changes to their anchor lineup following reports of behind-the-scenes drama in the newsroom. On Monday, May 6, the network announced that Norah O'Donnell will be leaving her co-anchoring spot on "CBS This Morning" with Gayle King to take over on "CBS Evening News" this summer, while John Dickerson is being relocated to "60 Minutes." Last week, Page Six reported that tensions were brewing between Norah and the other reporters, especially Gayle. "Norah is toxic," an insider said, adding that she's very difficult to work with. Gayle, who's currently the only anchor left on the morning show, addressed the changeup on the air and credited the new placements to ratings. "This is a business about ratings and when the ratings don't work, they make changes," she said. "And so they're making changes that they hope lead to better things." Despite rumors of a rift, Gayle and Norah claim there's actually "no beef" between them. "I know you have Oprah, but I want to thank you for being my work BFF," Norah joked later that day. Just yesterday, Gayle, who's been on a pedestal after her recent tell-all interview with R. Kelly, reportedly inked an $11 million deal to stay with the network.
