Take a look back at the stars' scariest encounters with stalkers, starting with Taylor Swift's majorly unsettling drama. A knife-wielding man tried to break into her Beverly Hills home in April 2018. The man was arrested outside of Taylor's mansion with a rope, a knife and live ammunition in his possession. Police also found prescription medications and psychologist paperwork in his car. Beyonce had quite an unnerving experience when she was stalked by a British man in 2009. He believed the superstar singer had died and been replaced by an imposter and began sending her threatening letters. He even went so far as to try to hand her a handwritten book of religious ramblings at a London event! Bey was eventually granted an anti-harassment order against the delusional man in March 2011.

Britney Spears has had more than her fair share of scary encounters but her stalking experience with a man from Japan takes the cake. The fan-turned-stalker claimed he was madly in love with the pop singer in 2003 and began sending her numerous love letters and photos of himself — including one that read "I'm chasing you." Brit was granted a restraining order but he still traveled to America and attempted to break into her Los Angeles home. After being apprehended by Britney's security guards, the man tried to sue the pop icon for emotional distress! The two eventually reached an out-of-court settlement and the case was dismissed.

Sandra Bullock came face-to-face with a male stalker in the hallway outside her bedroom in June 2014. The beloved actress was able to lock the door and call 911 and the man was, thankfully, arrested at her home. According to TMZ, he was carrying a notebook with cut-out magazine photos of Sandra and several handwritten notes, including one that read, "I will forever be thinking of you and Loui[s], my son, as you are my wife by law, the law of God and you belong to me and me to you." Scary! The man killed himself after a standoff with police in 2018.
In April 2013, a California woman determined to marry Hugh Jackman confronted him at his New York gym, where she attempted to shave his face with an electric razor. "I hated him having those whiskers," she reportedly told police when she was arrested. It wasn't the first time the woman, who relocated from California to New York to be closer to the Oscar nominee, came dangerously close to the actor and his family: According to the Daily News, she confronted Hugh's wife, Deborra-lee Furness, outside the school where their daughter Ava was enrolled on March 6, 2013.
Catherine Zeta-Jones feared for her life when a crazed woman began stalking her husband, Michael Douglas, in 2004. The woman became obsessed with the "Wall Street" actor and started sending letters to Catherine, threatening to cut her into pieces and feed her to her dogs if she didn't leave Michael! The Douglases eventually sought legal action and the woman was sentenced to three years in prison.
Blake Lively's stalker was so extreme, he showed up at her workplace to antagonize the star! The man claimed he had a "metaphysical connection" with Blake when he popped up on the "Gossip Girl" set in 2012. After being removed from the premises, he began harassing Blake's mother, Elaine Lively. The actress and her mom were eventually granted restraining orders against him.
According to the Daily Mail, an uninvited female stalker visited Jeff Goldblum's home more than 50 times in 2007. The woman allegedly began stalking the "Jurassic Park" actor in 2001 and would sometimes park her car across his driveway to block him from leaving.
In early 2012, a man was arrested after he was discovered living in an unoccupied condo owned by Mila Kunis. According to "Entertainment Tonight," he was arrested a second time just a few months later when he confronted the actress in a parking lot after following her to her Los Angeles gym on three consecutive days.
In July 2012, a man was arrested outside Halle Berry's home in Hollywood after she spotted him trespassing on her property three times in as many days. At the time of his arrest, the stalker was in possession of a key to the Oscar winner's guest house, which he reportedly obtained during an earlier break-in.
In September 2014, Keanu Reeves woke in the middle of the night to find a female stalker hanging out in his home library. The "Matrix" star approached the woman, who said she was there to meet him, before he called the police, who took her into custody.
It took six days in August 2013 for Jennifer Lopez's security team to discover that a stalker had been living in the pool house on her estate in East Hampton, New York. According to the Daily Mail, the man took to Facebook to share photos of himself on the property along with rants about being married to the superstar. When he was finally arrested, the man allegedly told police that he was Jennifer's ex-husband and the father of her children.
In June 2010, a stalker broke into Madonna's townhome in Yorkshire, England, and tried on clothes belonging to her ex-husband, Guy Ritchie. According to Us Weekly, the man broke into her home again the following year. A neighbor spotted the man, who was reportedly carrying a map of Madonna's home at the time of his arrest, and contacted the police. Fortunately, the singer and her family were in the United States at the time of the incident.
In August 2014, Shia LaBeouf called the cops on a woman who showed up to his home uninvited on at least three occasions. According to Page Six, Shia's stalker threatened, "I am going to blow up your house! I am going to blow up the world! You are Albert Einstein and we belong together."
Gwyneth Paltrow's stalker has harassed her on not one but two different continents. Back in 2012, he gained access to her London home by claiming that they had a business meeting. He tried to sneak into her London home again in 2013 but was denied access. Then in April 2014, he used the same technique to attempt to talk his way into her Los Angeles home.
In June 2014, a man was founding sleeping in Sanaa Lathan's home. According to TMZ, when police arrived to arrest him, he told them that he was the "Love & Basketball" star's husband.
In April 2013, a woman broke into Clay Aiken's gated community in North Carolina and hopped a fence surrounding his home. According to TMZ, neighbors spotted the woman peeking through the "American Idol" alum's windows and called the police. The Seattle-based stalker — who claimed she'd been catfished and that she'd been in communication with someone pretending to be the singer for years — had attempted to gain access to Clay's N.C. home once before.
A male stalker managed to break into Gigi Hadid's New York City apartment on June 29, 2015. According to Gossip Cop, the man was arrested and charged with one count of stalking, but it wasn't enough to make the model feel safe: She soon listed the apartment and sold it for $2.3 million in early 2016.
A man stalked Anderson Cooper for nearly six years between 2007 and 2013. The stalker made unsolicited calls to the newsman and showed up at his home and place of work on several occasions. According to the Daily Mail, he even tried to kick in Anderson's front door during one incident.

He also reportedly sent the scary messages, which included threats and derogatory statements, to her California home. The man was ultimately caught after he accidentally left his benefits card behind at RiRi's residence. He was charged with stalking, menacing and harassment.
In February 2015, a man was arrested for following Miranda Cosgrove to Disneyland. Sadly, it wasn't the first time he'd trailed her to the theme park. According to Gossip Cop, the "iCarly" actress was forced to get a restraining order against her stalker in September 2014 after he followed her to Disney and to her classes on the University of Southern California campus in Los Angeles.
In September 2013, a woman was arrested after she attempted to sneak into John Cusack's estate in Malibu. According to TMZ, the actor's security team caught the stalker scaling a fence onto his property after she failed to make it through a window. They detained her until police arrived. Fortunately, John was not home at the time of the incident.
In 2013, a man was sentenced to jail for stalking Ashley Tisdale. According to E! News, he showed up at the actress' home and attempted to gain access by pretending to be a deliveryman. The scary stalker also tweeted about being Ashley's boyfriend and sent her threatening messages on Twitter.
A homeless man was arrested in June 2014 after he wielded a knife and threatened to kill Michael Strahan while attempting to break into the "Good Morning America" set at ABC's Times Square studio in New York City.
