They coupled up courtside at L.A.'s Staples Center months later on Jan. 13, 2020, to watch the Los Angeles Lakers take on the Cleveland Cavaliers.

One of the most famous Los Angeles Lakers fans ever is Jack Nicholson. The acting icon sat courtside at the Staples Center with son Ray on Jan. 7, 2020, to watch his hometown team take on the New York Knicks.

Lizzo made headlines in December 2019 when she sat courtside at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Minnesota Timberwolves game at L.A.'s Staples Center and put on a jaw-dropping impromptu show for other sports fans: As the Laker Girls performed to her song "Juice," Lizzo stood up and twerked along — in a T-shirt dress with a cut-out directly over her bottom, which was clad in nothing but fishnet tights and a thong.

Ridiculously talented singer, savvy businesswoman and enthusiastic basketball fan? Rihanna does it all, and we are definitely here for it. A frequent coveter of courtside seats, the FENTY founder has made her love for the game and support for her friends that play it apparent on a number of occasions (she is a known fan and friend of LeBron James). RiRi was spotted at the Los Angeles Lakers home opener against the Utah Jazz in October 2019, and judging by the photos, she could not have been happier to be there!

The undisputed king of courtside appearances? None other than Aubrey Drake Graham! The Toronto native has made his love for his city and hometown team more than apparent — in 2013, he was named a Raptors "global ambassador" after he and his brand October's Very Own, otherwise known as OVO, announced a partnership with the team. The rapper has been photographed at countless Raptors games and was a consistent courtside presence during the 2019 NBA Finals when his team faced off against the Golden State Warriors. His sideline antics during the series (including here in May 2019) also inspired a plethora of memes, as he was often seen getting riled up by referee calls and exchanging words with players from the opposing team. The Raptors would go on to win the series 4-2, and in celebration of their victory, the "6ix god" dropped two new tracks that same night.

Beyoncé and JAY-Z are among the most high-profile celeb couples to make courtside appearances (Jay also used to be a co-owner of the Brooklyn Nets before relinquishing his stake back in 2013). Bey's appearance on the sidelines at a game in June 2019 threw the BeyHive into a frenzy after a photograph surfaced of the "Formation" singer looking unamused as Nicole Curran, the wife of Golden State Warriors majority owner Joseph Lacob, leaned over her to chat with Jay. Beyoncé's publicist released a statement soon after, urging the fan base to halt their cyberbullying aimed at Nicole. A frequent face at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Michael B. Jordan has been seen conversing with other notable names in attendance at NBA games, like DJ Khaled, Fergie and fellow "Black Panther" collaborators Chadwick Boseman and Ryan Coogler. In 2017, Michael's love for the game transcended the front row when the actor was featured in the "NBA 2K17" video game as Justice Young, a player in the MyCareer game mode. In a statement released the same year, the actor expressed his excitement about the project, calling it "the perfect platform to connect with a new, unique audience and challenge myself to expand my abilities as an actor." Kendall dated Philadelphia 76ers point guard Ben Simmons in 2018 and early 2019 and was often present at his games — including this one vs. the Indiana Pacers in Philly in March 2019 — to show her support. Daenerys Targaryen is among us! "Game of Thrones" actress Emilia Clarke was spotted in the front row during game six of the NBA's 2019 Western Conference semifinals in Houston to watch the Rockets take on the Golden State Warriors in May 2019. Upon seeing Emilia, Rockets mascot Clutch the Rocket Bear dropped his coffee, put his paw to his chest and knelt down before the Mother of Dragons. Based on the Jumbotron footage, Emilia was both flattered and embarrassed. Looks like mascots get starstruck too!

"Empire" star Taraji P. Henson was spotted courtside at a Chicago Bulls vs. Los Angeles Lakers game in November 2019. Taraji played a sports agent who gets passed over for an anticipated promotion in the 2019 comedy "What Men Want." In 2018, she was also a guest star on the Emmy-winning postgame show "Inside the NBA," where she talked all things basketball.

This photo from a January 2003 New Jersey Nets vs. Los Angeles Lakers game in L.A. (hello, early 2000s shades!) is proof that Brad Pitt has witnessed an NBA matchup firsthand. Funnily enough, the "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" actor was actually on a basketball team in eighth grade. They were called the "Rejects" — a team name he coined himself. Adorable!
