Stars who got tattoos for love

Love can make you do some crazy things… like get things tattooed on your body! And some of our favorite stars are no exception, as many have chosen to get inked with their current or former lover's name, their wedding date, a special significant-other phrase and more. Wonderwall.com has put together a list of some of the most infamous celebrity love tattoos, starting with Hollywood A-lister Angelina Jolie. The "Maleficent" actress got second hubby Billy Bob Thornton's name tattooed on her arm during their marriage in the early 2000s. Angie later had the ink removed following their divorce. She replaced it with the geographical coordinates of the places where third husband Brad Pitt and their six kids were born.

"Desperate Housewives" actress Eva Longoria got her wedding date tattooed on her wrist after marrying NBA player Tony Parker, her second husband, in 2007. The couple split in 2011 following reports that Tony cheated with a former teammate's wife, but during an appearance on "The Joy Behar Show," Eva said she doesn't regret the tattoo. "I like it… I'll just put the divorce date and it'll be like a gravestone!" she said.

Nick Cannon commemorated his whirlwind romance with Mariah Carey by getting a huge "Mariah" tattoo on his back in 2008 right before their wedding. After the couple separated in 2014, Nick covered the ink with a full back tattoo of Jesus on the cross.

Supermodel Heidi Klum had former hubby Seal's name tattooed on her forearm along with a star to mark each wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, their love didn't last: Heidi filed for divorce in April 2012 after almost seven years of marriage.

Superstar couple David Beckham and Victoria Beckham have been together since the 1990s and the footballer has plenty of tattoos related to their relationship journey. You can see at least one of them here: David got his wife's name inked on his right hand in an elegant script font alongside a hummingbird in honor of their 14th wedding anniversary in 2013.

Carey Hart honored his wife, Pink, with a Day of the Dead-style tattoo of the singer's face on his leg in 2009. The couple married in 2006 — after Pink proposed — and briefly split in 2008 before reuniting in 2009.

"The Big Bang Theory" actress Kaley Cuoco had her wedding date in Roman numerals inked on the back of her neck in 2014 after marrying tennis pro Ryan Sweeting. Their union was short-lived, however, and Kaley covered the tattoo with an image of a moth following their divorce in 2016. "It was big enough to cover the numbers. Big wings," she explained to Ellen DeGeneres in February 2016. "It's just what I picked out when I was there."

Beyonce and her husband, rapper and music mogul JAY-Z, honored their marriage by getting matching tattoos of the Roman numeral "IV" on their ring fingers in 2008. The number holds special significance for the superstar couple. Beyonce's birthday is Sept. 4, Jay's birthday is Dec. 4 and the two tied the knot on April 4, 2008.

Married mom-of-three Megan Fox and her hubby, Brian Austin Green, honored their union with tattoos. The "Transformers" actress has her husband's name inked on her lower stomach and Brian has Megan's name tattooed over his heart.

Johnny Depp was once engaged to actress Winona Ryder during the 1990s. Their highly publicized love affair included a "Winona Forever" tattoo on Johnny's arm that he infamously had changed into "Wino Forever" following their split in 1993.

Kaley Cuoco's ex-husband, Ryan Sweeting, shared a pic of his tattoo of Kaley's name in an Instagram post on Jan. 15, 2013, with the caption, "Ink my whole body I don't give a…" The pair, who got married after dating for only a few months, split in 2015.

Katy Perry and her then-hubby, Russell Brand, got matching tattoos reading "Anuugacchati Pravaha," a Sanskrit phrase that means "go with the flow," inked on their arms. Russell famously asked for a divorce via text message after 14 months of marriage in December 2011.

Actress Melanie Griffith had former husband Antonio Banderas' first name tattooed in a heart on her arm in the late '90s during the early years of their relationship. The "Working Girl" actress had the large ink removed completely when the couple separated in 2014 after nearly 20 years together.

Courteney Cox found love again with Snow Patrol guitarist Johnny McDaid following her divorce from David Arquette. The rocker is so enamored of his now-fiancée that he got Courteney's initials tattooed on his wrist in September 2016.

Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian got then-husband Lamar Odom's initial tattooed on her hand in October 2009 just a month after they wed. The NBA player also got Khloe's initial tattooed on his hand — but their love did not last. The couple separated in 2013.

Marco Perego is so in love with his wife, "Star Trek" actress Zoe Saldana, that he inked her entire face on his arm! The Italian artist debuted the tattoo in November 2013, five months after he and Zoe secretly wed.

Paris Hilton might have found her happily ever after. After just a few months of dating, the socialite's boyfriend, "Leftovers" actor Chris Zylka, got Paris' first name inked on his arm in a classic Disney font in July 2017. "Such a lucky girl! My love surprised me & got my name tattooed in #Disney font. And said cause I'm his most magical place on Earth & he finally found his fairytale princess. #BoyfriendGoals #ParisForever," Paris wrote on Instagram.

Former "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star Rob Kardashian celebrated his love with then-girlfriend Adrienne Bailon by getting her name inked on his side in 2007. The "The Real" host returned the favor by getting Rob's name tattooed on her butt. Adrienne shared on her talk show that she had the tattoo removed after their breakup in 2009.

Model Amber Rose tattooed former husband Wiz Khalifa's face on her arm after the birth of their son, Sebastian, in February 2013. She shared a photo of the ink on social media with the caption "True Love Cam & Amb." Their love wasn't meant to last, however: They divorced in 2015.

Beloved Hollywood couple Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum honored their marriage with matching tattoos while on their 2009 honeymoon in Bali. The "Step Up" actress got "Side By Side" inked on the top of her foot while her hubby got the same tat on his side.

J.Lo's suitors have always doted on her, and her third ex-husband, Marc Anthony, is no exception. The Latin singer got "Jennifer" tattooed on his wrist in honor of then-wife Jennifer Lopez but had the ink covered up after the pair split in July 2011.

Rapper Big Sean and singer Jhene Aiko are definitely #RelationshipGoals as they display PDA and love all over Hollywood. One of the biggest signs of their love is Jhene's most recent tattoo, a large image of Big Sean's face that she had inked on her arm in October 2017. Here's hoping the love lasts!
