And some of our favorite stars are no exception, as many have chosen to get inked with their current or former lover's name, their wedding date, a special significant-other phrase and more. Wonderwall.com has put together a list of some of the most infamous celebrity love tattoos, starting with Hollywood A-lister Angelina Jolie. The "Maleficent" actress got second hubby Billy Bob Thornton's name tattooed on her arm during their marriage in the early 2000s. Angie later had the ink removed following their divorce. She replaced it with the geographical coordinates of the places where third husband Brad Pitt and their six kids were born.

"Desperate Housewives" actress Eva Longoria got her wedding date tattooed on her wrist after marrying NBA player Tony Parker, her second husband, in 2007. The couple split in 2011 following reports that Tony cheated with a former teammate's wife, but during an appearance on "The Joy Behar Show," Eva said she doesn't regret the tattoo. "I like it… I'll just put the divorce date and it'll be like a gravestone!" she said.

Nick Cannon commemorated his whirlwind romance with Mariah Carey by getting a huge "Mariah" tattoo on his back in 2008 right before their wedding. After the couple separated in 2014, Nick covered the ink with a full back tattoo of Jesus on the cross.

Supermodel Heidi Klum had former hubby Seal's name tattooed on her forearm along with a star to mark each wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, their love didn't last: Heidi filed for divorce in April 2012 after almost seven years of marriage.
Superstar couple David Beckham and Victoria Beckham have been together since the 1990s and the footballer has plenty of tattoos related to their relationship journey. The number holds special significance for the superstar couple. Beyonce's birthday is Sept. 4, Jay's birthday is Dec. 4 and the two tied the knot on April 4, 2008.
