Colleen Ballinger
Colleen Ballinger — perhaps better known as her alter ego, Miranda Sings — is one of YouTube's biggest stars. Colleen, a native of Santa Barbara, California, who was born on Nov. 21, 1986, launched her Miranda Sings character on her first YouTube channel in 2008. After finding huge success with the persona, a parody of overconfident, narcissistic and fame-hungry show-offs, Colleen launched two more channels as herself: "PsychoSoprano" and "Colleen Vlogs," which together have more than 4.5 million subscribers. These days, her "Miranda Sings" YouTube channel has more than 6 million subscribers. Her most famous video there is a comedic short cover of Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off," with almost 13 million views. 2015 was a huge year for Colleen: She won the Teen Choice Award for favorite comedic web star, was named one of The Hollywood Reporter's Top 25 digital stars, married fellow YouTube personality Joshua David Evans, and released a book in the voice of Miranda Sings called "Selp Helf," in which she gives purposefully unhelpful (but hilarious) life advice. Colleen also has a Netflix original series in the works: "Haters Back Off" will follow Miranda Sings on her journey to fame and introduce us to all the people she meets along the way.
