Jane Lynch
Jane Lynch has come a long way since realizing she wanted to be an actress while playing a candle in a third grade school production. After studying theater at Illinois State and Cornell's graduate program, she further honed her craft at the famous Steppenwolf Theatre Company and Second City where she earned raves as Carol in "The Real Live Brady Bunch." She spent the late '80s and '90s doing commercials and small parts in TV ("3rd Rock From The Sun," "Married With Children," "Party Of Five") and films ("Vice Versa," "The Fugitive"). A cereal commercial she did with Christopher Guest led to her breakout role in "Best In Show" (2000) which led to memorable gigs with "Family Guy," "Arrested Development," "Desperate Housewives," "The 40-Year-Old Virgin," "The L Word," "Party Down," and "Talladega Nights." After recurring as Charlie Sheen's therapist on "Two and a Half Men," she landed her star-making role as intense cheer coach Sue Sylvester on "Glee," which nabbed her an Emmy (2010) and a Golden Globe (2011). She also won an 2014 Emmy for hosting "Hollywood Game Night." She married psychologist Lara Embry in 2010 after they had met at a fundraiser a year earlier, but they divorced in early 2014.
