Miranda Kerr
Miranda Kerr went from a small-town Australian tomboy who enjoyed racing motorbikes and riding horses on her grandfather's farms to top model, celebrity wife, cosmetics titan and star of many a male's fantasies in less than 25 years and she has one of her junior high friends to thank. The friend sent 13-year-old Kerr's photo to a Dolly magazine modeling contest that she ended up winning. After her initial gig with Billabong while finishing high school and working in Japan, she moved to New York in 2004 and quickly scored a Maybelline contract. She became the first Aussie Victoria's Secret Angel in 2007 around the same time that rumors linking her to fellow yoga enthusiast, Orlando Bloom, started to circulate. As a healthy lifestyle advocate, she started skincare line Kora Organics in 2009. Just after announcing their engagement in 2010, Kerr and her private Pirate secretly married in June and announced she was expecting in July. Son Flynn Christopher was born Jan. 6, 2011 and the working mom was back on the Paris catwalks two short months later. She was No. 7 on Forbes's 2012 list of highest-paid models and earned Esquire U.K.'s "Sexiest Woman Alive" title in October 2012.
