New report claims R.Patz and FKA Twigs have called it quits

Here's a question for ya: What's up with Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs these days? Though we try to take most celeb reports from The Sun with a grain of salt, the British tab makes a strong claim in support of a source who recently said Rob and FKA are no longer engaged. "Rob is tired of it, has called off their engagement and told friends they have split. With so much ­history between them, though, there are still strong feelings there," the insider is quoted as saying. "It's a difficult situation but things have become tough between them for some time and they both know they were no longer working as a couple." As for the backup claims, The Sun points to relationship-complicating factors such as work — Rob is filming the movie "High Life," while FKA works on her new album in London — as well as more tangible things like the absence of the singer's engagement ring in a photo taken last month. That shot, The Sun notes, surfaced a few weeks after FKA was photographed chilling in Ibiza with a male model and Rob was said to be spending time with Katy Perry. The ring situation wasn't the first time one of the two sparked questions about the state of their union, either. In July, Rob's response to a question from Howard Stern about whether they were still engaged, was "kind of." Although he added, "She's super-talented and from a totally different world," the interview definitely left some questions hanging in the air.

Britney Spears honors Las Vegas first responders

As Britney Spears kicked off her performance in Las Vegas on Wednesday, Oct. 11, she took a moment to honor a group of concert-goers with some love and multiple rounds of applause from the audience. "We have some special people in the audience tonight," Britney tells the crowd in a video clip posted on The Blast. "They are our Las Vegas first responders," she continues. The venue fills with the sound of cheers as Britney urges her fans to show their support for the brave people in a city still recovering from the worst mass shooting in U.S. history. "Before we start the show," Britney continued, "I just wanna say, 'We're here for you, you're here for us, and we're gonna get through this together."

Celebrities react to Rose McGowan's Twitter account being locked; Twitter ponies up an explanation

"Hey @Twitter let us know which of these rules @rosemcgowan broke. Asking for multiple victims of sexual violence." That's what Jessica Chastain tweeted after learning that Rose McGowan's Twitter account had been suspended in the wake of her posts about Harvey Weinstein and his alleged sexual impropriety. JustJared points out that the email Rose says she received from Twitter only said she had broken the rules, it did not initially clarify much beyond that. Jessica, who has said she was warned about the Weinstein Company founder's alleged behavior around women in the industry, wasn't alone in supporting Rose on social media. "@rosemcgowan 's twitter account has been suspended. I expect to start seeing smear stories on her anytime now. This is the sad reality," tweeted Patricia Arquette. Jeffrey Wright chimed in: "Suspend @rosemcgowan, @Twitter, but @realDonaldTrump'll be on here tomorrow morning slathered in threats & bile? Yeah. Fix that quick." Jon Cryer, meanwhile, simply asked, "Sincerely @jack wt-?! Why is @rosemcgowan suspended?" On Thursday, Oct. 12, Variety reported a rep from Twitter finally explained why the company locked Rose's account. "We have been in touch with Ms. McGowan's team. We want to explain that her account was temporarily locked because one of her Tweets included a private phone number, which violates our Terms of Service," the spokesperson said in a statement. "The Tweet was removed and her account has been unlocked. We will be clearer about these policies and decisions in the future." The rep added: "Twitter is proud to empower and support the voices on our platform, especially those that speak truth to power. We stand with the brave women and men who use Twitter to share their stories, and will work hard every day to improve our processes to protect those voices."

Georgina Chapman is reportedly 'looking for crisis PR'

As an unemployed Harvey Weinstein embarks on a rehab mission amid allegations of sexual harassment and abuse, his now estranged wife, Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman, is reportedly in search of help managing the optics mess her newly minted ex has created for her. "[Georgina] always knew [Harvey] exhibited questionable behavior. She is also very actively looking for crisis PR," a source tells Us Weekly. "This whole situation was deeply upsetting to her, but she isn't completely floored, so it wasn't as shocking as people think it was to her." Another insider added that friends urged Georgina to leave her husband, who was fired from his own company for the sake of her brand, if nothing else.

Christina Applegate reveals she had her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed

Like Angelina Jolie before her, Christina Applegate took action to prevent herself from getting ovarian cancer after she tested positive for the BRCA1 gene, which increases the risk of ovarian and breast cancer in women. Speaking to Today.com, Christina said she underwent the surgery last month. "Two weeks ago, I had my ovaries and [fallopian] tubes removed. My cousin passed away from ovarian cancer in 2008. I could prevent that," said the actress, who previously had a double mastectomy after cancer was discovered in one breast. "That's how I've taken control of everything. It's a relief. That's one other thing off the table. … Now, let's hope I don't get hit by a bus," she quipped. With a 6-year-old daughter at home, however, Christina is still worried about the gene. "The chances that my daughter is BRCA positive are very high," she told Today. "I look at her and feed her the cleanest foods. I try to keep her stress levels down. I'm doing everything I can on my end knowing that in 20 years, she'll have to start getting tested."

Ryan Phillippe is walking again after leg injury

After having his leg crushed in what he called "a freak accident," Ryan Phillippe is back in action. TMZ caught up with him at the airport in Los Angeles, where he was walking swiftly with the help of a set of crutches towards security. Asked how his leg was feeling, Ryan told TMZ it was "gettin' there." He did not respond when asked about his ex's abuse allegations or reports he was filing a defamation case against her.

Forbes recently named Sean "Diddy" Combs one of the 100 greatest business minds in the world. But as he told Ellen DeGeneres on her show this week, it's not about earning more cash than anyone else. "My motivation is not to make the most money. It's to give the most money away to help people who are less fortunate than myself," he said, according to the Daily Mail. Sure, Diddy gave his son a $360,000 Maybach for his 16th birthday back in 2010. In 2017, however, his gifts are less indulgent. The Bad Boy Entertainment and Ciroc honcho also told Ellen's audience he donated $100,000 to hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico and commended his friend French Montana for French's decision to build a hospital in Uganda. So what's next for Diddy's do-gooder-ism? "I did have a dream to own a NFL team but now my dream is to own our own league!" he tweeted this week. Julianne Hough opens up about battle with endometriosis

Julianne Hough spent a long time dealing with endometriosis before she even knew what it was. In Health's new cover story, the "Dancing With the Stars" veteran explains how the disease came to light and how her decision to talk about it publicly has helped other women dealing with the same problem. "I thought I was just like every other girl — getting her period and having cramps. I'd see my mom and my sisters all have bad cramps, but being a dancer, I was like, 'I'm fine. I'm a tough cookie,'" she recalls. "I remember moving to L.A. when I was 18, and my roommate had endo, and I was like, 'Well, that sounds too medical, and I have no idea what that means. It's over my head.' But then I saw her and was like, 'That looks like the kind of pain that I have.' Again, I didn't care because I was 18. Then I was on 'Dancing,' during one of my last seasons as a dancer, and all of a sudden while I was dancing, something happened and I just doubled over. They cut to commercial, and my mom was in the audience that day, so she's like, 'You're going to the hospital. I don't care what you say.' It took so long to figure out what was going on. Finally one doctor said, 'I think you might have endometriosis, and it looks pretty bad.' I needed surgery — I had it everywhere, to the point that they took my appendix out because it was so bad." Describing the "immediate sharp pain" as "a stabbing sensation," Julianne says it's an "ongoing" problem for her. She felt positive about the fact that the show was understanding about her health problems, though. "And then also, my mom and two of my sisters found out they had endo," she says. "They had been doing the same thing I was, where they didn't do anything about it because they were like, 'We're strong.'" Finally, she says fans have reached out to let her know what her candor about the disease has meant to them: "I've had so many people who message me on social media saying, 'Thank you so much. Because of you I had the courage to go to my doctor and ask about this.'"

Did Alec Baldwin throw a drink at a NYC motorist?

It's been a while since Alec Baldwin was accused of unleashing his temper on someone in public, but a New York Post report claims the actor became enraged with a driver and passenger he encountered while walking around 11th Street and University Place in New York City this week. "Baldwin called the driver of a big black SUV 'a meatball' and kept asking him and the passenger to get out," an onlooker told the tab, suggesting the SUV had been driving in a dangerous manner. Neither person exited the vehicle, according to the snitch. "Alec got out his phone and started videotaping them," said the source. "They pulled away right after, and he took a pic of their license plate and threw his extra-large drink in the street. Then he just went on his angry way."

Mischa Barton sued over U-Haul incident

In February, Mischa Barton and her boyfriend at the time, Adam Spaw, were in a U-Haul when the truck hit the support beams of a carport at The Park Wellington condominiums in Los Angeles. Now, the homeowners association at the building has filed suit in an attempt to recover the cost of repairs. According to TMZ, the organization is suing Mischa for $26,991.55, as police listed her as the driver in their report. The lawsuit comes after Mischa and Adam attempted to get his insurance company to cover the accident, since the truck was rented in his name. The company reportedly denied their claim.
