But in 2020, the power couple reportedly made another purchase — a waterfront estate on Star Island, one of Miami's most elite and private enclaves, for a cool $40 million. The stunning compound sits on a 40,000-square-foot lot and features 10 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms and a gigantic outdoor swimming pool. In 2020, Grammy-winning pop star Ariana Grande purchased a $13.7 million mansion in Los Angeles's Hollywood Hills. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith reside on a Calabasas, California, estate that's worth an estimated $42 million. Construction on the property began in 2003 and was completed in 2010. In 2020, Lori Loughlin and designer husband Mossimo Giannulli purchased a $9.5 million home in California's Hidden Hills enclave. The 12,000-square-foot mansion sits on 1.57 acres and includes six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a gym, a theater and a chef's kitchen, among several other amenities. The infamous couple — who pleaded guilty in a college admission cheating scandal in 2020 — reportedly got the property for a major steal as it was originally on the market for $11.75 million. They snagged it $2.25 million less than the initial asking price. Their purchase came after they sold their sprawling Bel Air home to Tinder co-founder Justin Mateen for $18.7 million — around $10 million less than they wanted.
