Steve Harvey skips his own wrap party after memo leak
As the entertainment industry buzzed about a leaked memo in which Steve Harvey detailed the many ways in which his staff is not allowed to interact with him, plans were underway on Thursday, May 11, for a wrap party in honor of the final day of production for "The Steve Harvey Show" in Chicago. Steve, it seems, skipped the closing bash for his own show. "Steve is not going to his own wrap party Thursday night," a source told the New York Post that day. "After that memo, he'd be stood on his own in the corner. He used to be such a nice guy." The memo in question advised staff, basically, not to approach Steve at work unless he had already requested their presence. "There will be no meetings in my dressing room," it warned. "No stopping by or popping in … Do not open my dressing room door. If you open my door, expect to be removed … Do not approach me while I'm in the makeup chair unless I ask to speak with you directly … I want all the ambushing to stop now. … I promise you I will not entertain you in the hallway, and do not attempt to walk with me." After Steve confirmed he'd sent the memo at the beginning of Season 5 last year, he defended his reasoning in an interview with ET. "I've always had a policy where, you know, you can come and talk to me — so many people are great around here, but some of them just started taking advantage of it," he said. "… I'm in my makeup chair, they walk in the room. I'm having lunch, they walk in, they don't knock. I'm in the hallway, I'm getting ambushed by people with friends that come to the show and having me sign this and do this. I just said, 'Wait a minute.' And in hindsight, I probably should've handled it a little bit differently." After five years of filming in Chicago, "The Steve Harvey Show" is slated to move to Los Angeles, where the Post reports will resume for the next season with a new production team. Hey, at least they'll come to work knowing the rules.

That's mostly because a preview of the song "Two Ghosts" showed handwritten lyrics Harry's fans thought sounded a little too much like his ex, so they blew up social media trying to figure out if they were right. Enter BBC Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw, who sat Harry down on the air and asked him point blank. After gasping, he mumbled that the meaning is "pretty self-explanatory" while looking nervous and even talking to someone behind the camera named Jeffrey. Jeffrey offered no help, so Harry said more words about "sometimes things change" and Nick basically followed that up with an announcement that they were going to play the song that's about Taylor Swift. That's when MTV notes Harry screamed an actual, up-out-of-his-char scream. Easy come, easy go, buddy.

Elle Fanning finds Instagram a bit nerve-wracking
Like Selena Gomez, Elle Fanning is far from comfortable with social media. Despite her nervousness about what she refers to in the new issue of Vogue as "the Facebook and the Twitter," the 18-year-old eventually came to realize it was important to be on one of the platforms. A fan of the visual, she opted for Instagram. "I need to evolve with the times," says Elle, who has 1 million followers as of May 2017 but was still at 900,000 when the Vogue story went to print. "Before you share, you get nervous: You can't help but have those flashes." she admits. Seemingly unaware that her Instagram star is on the rise, Elle adds that her sister, Dakota Fanning, has a million followers, "which is nothing compared with Selena Gomez, who has the world."
Jessica Lange left Emma Roberts star-struck on 'AHS'
Emma Roberts apparently got so nervous about being around Jessica Lange on the set of "American Horror Story" that it affected her work. According to the New York Post, Emma was overheard at a party in Los Angeles this week talking about her star struck problem with her former costar. "She would often forget her cues in scenes with Lange because she was so enthralled by her performance," the Post's snitch reports. If Emma Roberts is wowed by Jessica Lange's awesomeness, maybe stars are just like us after all.
Howard Stern takes a personal day, worrying fans
Howard Stern's fans are concerned about him this week. On Wednesday, May 10, the SiriusXM host took a personal day in what some are saying was the first time he ever took a day off without warning. "I have listened to the #HowardStern show since the 80s… NEVER canceled a show before! I am very concerned about the reason," read a tweet (via the New York Post) from one of his worried followers. "Peace and love to my hero @HowardStern, who has missed a live show for the first time ever this morning. I hope everything is ok," wrote a second fan. Rumors and questions about his personal life and whether a parent had died appeared on Reddit soon after the announcement. Howard's reps did not respond to the Post's request for a comment.

Kim Kardashian West is among the multiple family members experiencing a strained relationship with Caitlyn Jenner following the release of her memoir "The Secrets of My Life." Speaking to Australia's "Today" show on Thursday, May 11, Caitlyn implied she's trying to avoid more uncomfortable exchanges about the things she revealed in the book. "I love Kimberly, I think she's a wonderful person," she said (via Us Weekly). "But, well, to be honest with you, I really haven't talked to her in a long time. I've kind of let everything calm down. So I kind of stay, you know, I keep my distance. I'm out there trying to make a difference in the world. There's a lot of drama in the Kardashian family."
