Prince's former home hits the market
Prince fans, rejoice! the Purple One's Toronto home could be yours … for just $13 million. TMZ reports the house where Prince lived in the early 2000's recently went back on the market for nearly $4 million more than it was listed for two years ago. The 14,500 digs come complete with a Prince symbol on the carpet (which is purple, obviously) and a desk where prince worked. It was removed from the market following his death out of concern the seller might be seen as capitalizing from Prince's passing.

Emma Watson admits she gets 'overwhelmed' by her celeb status
Being famous has its downsides — a fact Emma Watson is coming to terms with. Speaking to Jessica Chastain for Interview magazine's new cover story, the "Harry Potter" alum explains how and why her private life has become so important to her. "Dan[iel Radcliffe], Rupert [Grint], and I were kids when we got cast in this fairy-tale series, and what happened to us was kind of a fantasy story in itself," she says (via Celebitchy). "So the story of my life has been of public interest, which is why I've been so passionate about having a private identity. When I step into a character, people have to be able to suspend their disbelief; they have to be able to divorce me from that girl. And not having everyone know every single intimate detail of my entire life is part of me trying to protect my ability to do my job well. I know that I'm under a different microscope, a certain level of scrutiny, which I find really hard at times." Emma, who also advocates for gender equality issues through her work with the U.N. went on to admit she often deals with anxiety about how she'll be seen by the public. "I get incredibly overwhelmed, and sometimes feel hemmed in by that, afraid of that," she says. "But I know that if I live in that fear, then my life as an artist, as a human being, really, is over. Ultimately, it will silence me, and it will silence what is in me — which I have yet to explore and uncover."

Emmy Rossum writes about Sheryl Sandberg's new book
After seeing Katie Couric interview Sheryl Sandberg and Adam Grant about their book, "Option B," which tells Sheryl's story of losing her husband when they had two young children at home and how she coped, Emmy Rossum wrote a long, open letter on Facebook. "If you have a single parent, read this. If you've been through sexual assault, health scares, grief and loss, hate and violence, job loss or really anything and want to find resilience, read this," she wrote. Emmy went on to explain the premise of the book, then shared how Sheryl wrote an "open, emotional and raw" Facebook post a month after her husband, Dave's death. "As public people, there is struggle with how much to share. How much to hold sacred within ourselves. Also, as actors, we ask ourselves is it better to hold some of ourselves private so that people might forget about the real 'us' when watching a character?" Emmy wrote. "If we're being honest, though… as people, public or not, it's sometimes hard to share. With anyone. Even those closest to us. … The talk really hit me hard when Sheryl and Katie Couric (who lost her husband Jay to colon cancer when her daughters were 2 and 6) spoke about suddenly becoming single moms. How they never realized how hard it really was, how ostracizing it can feel for children. How hallmark holidays like 'Father's Day' and activities like the school 'Father Daughter Dance' which once seemed like happy, easy, fun traditions suddenly became almost suffocatingly painful," Emmy continued. "I had a single mom. I have a single mom. This isn't a secret. Growing up in a school — and a world — filled with mostly two parent units was difficult for me. Father's Day still is difficult for me. I'm not really sure how to celebrate." She went on to share statistics about single parents and to detail how hard it is for her still to deal with the fact she lost her father. Finally, she said the post was "a thank you note of sorts" to her friends, her mom and her therapist, who have helped her heal from grief. "There are areas to discuss not just this but sexual assault, health, grief and loss, hate and violence… AND RESILIENCE," Emmy wrote."So, you're not alone."
Johnny Depp opens up about his finances, lawsuit
For the first time since he went to court with his former management team over allegations their negligence caused him to lose millions of dollars, Johnny Depp opened up about his finances on Tuesday, April 25. "Why didn't they drop me as a client if I was so out of control? I've worked very, very hard for a lot of years and trusted a lot of people, some who've clearly let me down," he told the Wall Street Journal (via E! News). He also addressed TMG's countersuit, which claims Johnny spent vast sums of money on frivolous things like shipping his wine collection around the world and coughing up $3 million to shoot Hunter S. Thompson's ashes over Aspen, Colorado (Johnny says he actually spent $5 million on that one). "It's my money," the actor pointed out. "If I want to buy 15,000 cotton balls a day, it's my thing." A rep for the management company responded to the interview with this statement: "We look forward to responding to Mr. Depp's latest falsehoods in our amended pleadings." Johnny is suing TMG for $25 million, while TMG is suing Johnny for $560,000 in unpaid fees and a declaration stating the actor is "solely responsible for his finances," according to E!
