Ben Affleck is reportedly being pushed towards more in-patient rehab
Earlier this year, Ben Affleck surprised fans by announcing he'd completed an inpatient rehab program to deal with his alcohol addiction issues, which he admitted he'd "dealt with in the past" and would "continue to confront." The time for him to confront those issues again could be now. A new report from InTouchWeekly claims Ben's inner circle worries he hasn't overcome his battle against booze and believes his best move would be to attend another inpatient treatment program for a longer stint than previous ones. One insider close to the actor says he understands those closest to him "are taking this very seriously," adding, "He's trying to figure out what treatment works for him." Recently, he's been attending an outpatient program a few times a week, an approach those who love him feel may not help him get to where he wants to be in his relationship with booze. As he said on social media in March, "I want to live life to the fullest and be the best father I can be."

Anna Faris opens up about Chris Pratt cheating rumors
In her new relationship book, "Unqualified," Anna Faris gets candid about some aspects of her marriage to Chris Pratt — the man she was still with when she began work on the project. Now that they've separated, some of the stories she shares take on new meaning. Case in point: Anna details exactly how she felt when rumors surfaced Chris cheated on her with his "Passengers" costar, Jennifer Lawrence. Though all three have vehemently denied the rumors, Anna shares how difficult it was to be in the position of having her husband accused of that kind of behavior. "Even before [Chris and Jen] met in person, my publicist, out of the blue, pulled me aside and said, 'Anna, listen, there are going to be paparazzi all over them. There are going to be shots of them laughing together on their way to set. There are going to be stories circulating, and you have to brace yourself for this,'" Anna writes (via Cosmopolitan). "I didn't think it would bother me. I've been in this business a while now and I had seen Chris star alongside other beautiful women, like Aubrey Plaza and Bryce Dallas Howard," she continues. "I'd always taken pride in our relationship, and the coverage, even though it was just false rumors, was making me feel insecure … Jennifer and I really are friendly, and she was apologetic even though she didn't need to be, because she hadn't done anything wrong. She's awesome, but of course it's hurtful and also embarrassing when people are saying your husband is cheating on you, even if it's patently untrue. You still feel, and look, like a fool." On the bright side, it seems like some of those feelings have softened since the pair split. Chatting with the hosts of "Live! With Kelly and Ryan" this week, she said called Chris "amazing" before saying, "We're great friends and we always will be. It's so true, it's so true. Life is too short."

Paris and Prince Jackson make rare official appearance together
Nearly a decade ago, Paris Jackson and Prince Jackson appeared together in a moving photo at the memorial for their father, Michael Jackson. This week, the sibs showed how much they've grown up since then when they shared a moment on the red carpet while attending a fundraising gala in Los Angeles in support of the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation and the nonprofit mothers2mothers. Paris, 19, is now an ambassador for the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, which was started by her late godmother. Speaking to InStyle (via the Daily Mail)about a recent visit to Malawi, she opened up about why the education work mothers2mothers does to reduce HIV positive-born babies in sub-Saharan Africa is so important. "The most heartbreaking moment of all this for me was when I met a 20-year-old mother affected by HIV who was in the mothers2mothers support program. If she had gotten medication sooner, she wouldn't have passed HIV on to her child," said Paris, who also visited Puerto Rico this month to help with hurricane relief efforts. "When she talked about it, I could see in her eyes that she was expecting death," Paris continued. "Here, with the medical advances that we have, there's still a chance … But when you get diagnosed with HIV out there, you get it and you think you're a goner."

Sean Hayes reveals he was hospitalized after his small intestine burst
Poor Sean Hayes! The "Will and Grace" star recently canceled unexpectedly on a scheduled "Ellen" appearance. As it turned out, he had a good — if terribly painful — reason for the last-minute change. Sharing a story about what happened on the Wednesday, Oct. 25, edition of the show, he explained (via People): "I went to bed at night and all of a sudden I felt this excruciating pain in my stomach. So I went to the ER … and thank God I did. I had a very rare thing where my small intestine burst open, and it was poisoning my body." Despite the yikes factor, Sean quickly turned the experience into an excuse for some laughs. "So they went in there, and they clipped off the bad part and put it back together with like, a chip clip," he joked. "And they put you on so many drugs. You're like, high out of your mind." As he was recovering, it somehow occurred to him to reach out to a producer for "Ellen" and explain that though he was in the hospital, he still planned to appear on the show, as scheduled. "Scottie, my husband, was in the room with me," he recalled.. "I hung up the phone and he was like, 'What's wrong with you? You can't do the Ellen show on Monday. Are you high?' And I'm like, 'Yeah, I'm really high. Are you high?'" Later, he shared how humiliated he felt walking around in a hospital gown. Of course, that strolling apparently inspired some more laughs, this time on the part of the hospital staff. "So in order to get your energy back, they make you walk around the floor and do laps," he recalled. "So I'm making nice-nice with the nurses and they're laughing. I'm like, 'They must be gigantic fans!'" Not quite. "Well," he noted, "my bottom my sticking out the whole time."

Inside Justin Bieber's $55,000 rental pad
Maybe that alleged trespasser at Justin Bieber's house this week just wanted to check out the stylin' digs. TMZ reports the home in the Beverly Hills section of Los Angeles that the Biebs has been renting for $55,000 a month boasts some serious amenities. The place reportedly features six bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths and more than 8,600 square feet of space. The contents of said space, TMZ notes, include a movie theater, gym, home office, pool, spa, fire pit and TVs in at least one of the bedrooms. Good thing Justin's egg-throwing, neighbor-irking days are behind him — it would be a bummer to end up having to leave this gem behind.

The Weinstein Company may not survive financially
In the wake of Harvey Weinstein's growing pile of sexual harassment and assault allegations, what's next for the Weinstein Company? If TMZ's insiders are right, the answer is likely bankruptcy. "There's an unstoppable meltdown and bankruptcy is inevitable," one source tells the website. Others say the production company has more or less lost all its assets due to the breakdown of various deals and departure of multiple investors and other financial support systems. "The Weinstein Company can't survive this way, and bankruptcy will come in a matter of weeks," claims another source. TMZ is also reporting that Colony Capital is no longer pursuing acquisition of the company with the interest it initially showed. The company itself, meanwhile, maintains a bankruptcy filing is not in its future. "Any suggestion that The Weinstein Company is on the verge of imminent bankruptcy is complete fiction," says a rep for the organization. "Clearly, TMZ is being lied to by anonymous sources with hidden agendas."
Kate Winslet 'respectfully' declines to discuss Woody Allen sexual misconduct allegations and backlash with Variety
In September, the New York Times asked Kate Winslet if the sexual abuse allegations against Woody Allen "gave her pause" when she worked with him. She replied by saying, "As the actor in the film, you just have to step away and say, I don't know anything, really, and whether any of it is true or false," and praising both Woody and Roman Polanski as directors. But how is Kate Winslet going to navigate the promotion of her new Woody Allen film, "Wonder Wheel," in the post-Harvey Weinstein-scandal world that now seems to define Hollywood? In answer to that question, Celebitchy cites Kate's new cover story for Variety. In an interview that was conducted before the Weinstein Company mess began, Variety asked Kate if the allegations about Woody's sexual misconduct were a "factor" in her decision to sign on as his latest star. "Um," Kate responded before acknowledging the pause in the third person. "She pauses," Kate says. "It's just a difficult discussion. I'd rather respectfully not enter it today." Asked about the "criticism on social media" that followed her recent praise of the director, Kate declined to engage. "I don't read how people respond to things. We're always as actors going to say the wrong thing," she said. "I think it's better to respectfully step away from the discussion."
Tyrese Gibson accused of violating restraining order
"NO MATTER WHAT, DADDY LOVES YOU SHAYLA." That's the message that was emblazoned on a banner Tyrese Gibson reportedly had flown over his 10-year-old daughter, Shayla Gibson's school this week. The Blast reports the "Fast and Furious" star also had balloons, flowers, a teddy bear, a fruit arrangement and a card sent to Shayla's school, of which appeared to have been an attempt to woo her into his good graces before her planned testimony about her mother Norma's claims Tyrese "pinned her" down and spanked her so hard she could not sit down when it was over. The testimony is part of Norma's attempt to make permanent what is now a temporary restraining order against the actor. According to her lawyer, the current order prevents Tyrese from having "direct or indirect contact" with Shayla or Norma. "This disturbing behavior is a complete violation of the Restraining Order," Norma's attorney tells the Blast. "It is a reflection of Mr. Gibson's erratic state of mind." Shayla was reportedly left in tears over the banner incident and was moved to the principal's office in oder to keep her from being in contact with other kids. He has denied allegations he abused Shayla.
