Kylie Cosmetics reportedly involved in Shopify security breach
Kylie Jenner's massively popular Kylie Cosmetics brand may have unwittingly compromised the personal information of its customers. This week, the company sent an email alerting shoppers who've bought products via the ecommerce platform it uses, Shopify, to a "security incident" involving "names, addresses, emails, product orders, and even the last four digits of the credit card for potentially impacted customers," TMZ reported on Tuesday. The outlet said that Shopify has assured users "full payment details were not compromised" and that Kylie's brand is one of at least 100 companies affected by the breach. The email from Kylie Cosmetics reportedly asserted that its clients' "trust" was of utmost importance and promised to be "forthcoming" about further developments, according to TMZ.

Deborra-Lee Furness addresses rumors about Hugh Jackman's sexuality
Rumors about Hugh Jackman's sexuality are nothing new — just ask his wife, actress and producer Deborra-Lee Furness. "He's been gay so many years," Deborra, 64, said with a chuckle in a video clip from Tuesday's edition of the Australian show, "Anh's Brush With Fame" (via E! News). "I was gay, too," she added playfully. "You know when I did 'Shame'? I was gay. They were shocked when I got married." Besides, she said, it's less that she and Hugh are irritated by the whispers so much as it is that "they are wrong" and that the tabloids that keep the rumors circulating are "mean-spirited." Deborra and Hugh, 51, have been married since the mid-'90s, making them one of Hollywood's longest-lasting couples. Recalling how they met on on the set of the Australian TV show "Correlli" in 1995, Deborra said the two, "just had this amazing connection" and that she feels "blessed" to have met her "soulmate." One element of outside chatter that does get to her, however, is when she hears she's "lucky" to have married the actor. "Lucky? Like I won a chook raffle," she sniffed. "People don't realize that it's actually rude to say that. But yeah…[that's] because he's the stud muffin. But that's showbiz and Hollywood and the brand of Hugh Jackman." She has fun with that brand, too. As she said on the show, after Hugh's 2008 "Sexiest Man Alive" cover, Deborra took great delight in reminding him his hotness wouldn't absolve him of responsibilities around the house — as in, "Hey, Sexy, your turn for the garbage."

Mariah Carey often seemed to be borderline blissed-out in photos she appeared in with Nick Cannon at the start of their relationship — and with good reason. As the singer explains in her new memoir, "The Meaning of Mariah Carey," when she first met Nick at the Teen Choice Awards, she told him she'd heard he'd said "all these nice things" about her. "With a genuine beaming smile and a flame in his eyes, he replied, 'If you give me a chance, I'll prove all of it is true,'″ Mariah writes (via People), calling the exchange, ″a cute moment—very." The two started dating, and it was just a few weeks before they were married in 2008. ″Honestly, I think Nick and I could have worked it out between the two of us, but egos and emotions got inflamed (which can translate into many billable lawyer hours, and ultimately it did),″ she writes of their 2014 separation and eventual divorce. ″It was tough. We both wanted to make sure everything was cool for our family. We will always be family, and we make it work.″ As for their super-fast marriage, Mariah explains that while she never wanted to have kids before she met Nick, that changed once they got together. "Our desire to have children became a force of nature and why we got married so quickly," she shares, noting that after her imbalanced marriage to Tommy Mottola,″the power dynamics … felt even″ with Nick. ″He was a good guy. He was faith-based. He was ambitious,″ she writes. ″He had been in the entertainment industry for a long time, so he understood the madness. He paid attention to me." Although their divorce was finalized in 2016, Mariah and Nick share 9-year-old twins Monroe and Morroccan and continue to share holidays and other family events together. "The Meaning of Mariah Carey" hit shelves Tuesday.

Gabrielle Union, NBC reach settlement over her 'AGT' firing
Ten months after Gabrielle Union went public with her claims of toxicity, racism and other misconduct on the set of "America's Got Talent," NBC and Union, who was let go after one season as a judge, have, "reached an amicable resolution." That's according to a joint statement released Tuesday by the network and the star. "NBC Entertainment appreciates the important concerns raised by Gabrielle Union and remains committed to ensuring an inclusive and supportive working environment where people of all backgrounds can be treated with respect," the statement read. Although no further details were disclosed, both Deadline and Page Six have reported Gabrielle was paid a settlement by the network and Fremantle and Syco, the company that produces the show.
Cardi B files to trademark 'WAP'
With 93 million U.S. streams in its first week of release last month, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's hit "WAP" became the most streamed debut track in history — but Cardi's not quite done capitalizing on her own success. TMZ reports the rapper recently filed a trademark application for "WAP" that would apply to clothing, headwear, footwear, athletic bags, purses, jewelry, posters stickers and even beverages, including booze. Cardi, who was unsuccessful last year in her (admittedly hilarious) bid to trademark the phrase "okurrr," is still waiting for a green light on her "WAP" application, but has already launched a merch line featuring appropriately thematic items like rain jackets and umbrellas, as well as airbrushed "WAP" sweats, tees and bra-and-biker shorts sets. The trademark situation might explain why Cardi's website warns fans that those goodies won't ship for another six to 10 weeks, depending on the item. It's also probably one of the projects keeping the newly single artist too busy to date — despite the "flood" of offers she's already gotten.
Shannen Doherty opens up about Stage IV cancer battle: 'I'm not signing off'
Earlier this year, Shannen Doherty revealed on "Good Morning America" the breast cancer she was first diagnosed with in 2015 had returned in 2019 and was now Stage IV. That's not she and her husband alerted their closest friends to the news, though. As the "90210" alum shares in a new interview with Elle, a few weeks after she learned the cancer was back, she hosted a dinner party at her home. Her oncologist, Dr. Lawrence Piro was among the guests, she explained, and it was he who shared the bad news at the dinner. Ultimately, it was a positive setting, because as Shannen put it, "Everybody got to ask questions and know what we were looking at as a group, as a team." They were all told of her treatment plan. They were also assured that there's a good chance she wouldn't be leaving them "soon." From there, Shannen said she was able to reflect on her life, her choices, the pain of losing her father shortly after her star began to rise and the "self-destructive" lifestyle she adopted for some time as a result. Now, at 49, she says she tries "to treasure all the small moments that most people don't really see or take for granted." And while she's planning what she'll say to friends and family in messages for after she's gone, she's not ready to deal with those messages just yet. "…Whenever it comes time for me to do it, it feels so final. It feels like you're signing off, and I'm not signing off," Shannen explains, saying she feels "very, very healthy" now. "It's like anybody with Stage IV faces this sort of thing, where others want to put you out to pasture," she says. "I'm not ready for pasture. I've got a lot of life in me."
Beyonce sends flowers and a note to young fan battling cancer: 'You are a survivor'
Beyonce brought some light into the life of a young, struggling fan this week. On Sunday, a family-run Instagram account for Lyric Jacks, a girl who's been fighting a form of brain cancer since at least 2018, posted an exuberant thank-you note after Lyric received a surprise gift from singer. ″When the Queen Bey sends you flowers 😱😱😱," read the caption to a photo of Lyric smiling beside her floral arrangement. ″Thank you so much @beyonce Lyric was so shock to get mail from you and she said Beyonce is the Best!!! We love you so much and she hopes to one day meet you💕💕💕💕💕💕💕." It's not clear how Bey found out about Lyric's situation, but just a few days before the flowers arrived, Lyric posted videos of herself in preschool singing along to "Love on Top." In the note she sent along with the flowers, the singer quoted the song, opening with, "Honey, Honey, I can see the stars all the way from here, I can feel the sun whenever you're near." Bey went on to write: ″I was so moved to see how these lyrics inspired you, not nearly as much as you inspired me. I can't wait to meet you one day and I'm so happy you're home safely. You are a survivor. God bless, B." According to an active GoFundMe for Lyric, she's battling anaplastic ependymoma, a form of malignant tumor that develops rapidly in the central nervous system, head and spine. This form is more difficult to remove completely because of how quickly it grows and its tendency to spready into other brain tissue, according to St. Jude Children's Hospital. As of Tuesday, nearly $77,000 of the family's $125,000 goal had been raised for Lyric's care, with hundreds of donors contributing since Sunday.
Dave Chappelle's 'Socially Distanced' comedy series shut down by COVID-19
So much for that title. "Dave Chappelle and Friends – An Intimate Socially Distanced Affair" has come to an early end due to COVID-19, Page Six reports. Dave had been hosting the A-lister-stuffed comedy series near his home in Yellow Springs, Ohio, for much of the summer. But on Friday, "hours before" the show was set to begin, it was called off amid concern one of the regular comics on the bill contracted the virus. The person in question's name has not been published, but Page Six reports it was not one of the better-known stars who've been involved, who have included Chris Rock, David Letterman, Jon Stewart, Tiffany Haddish, Michael Che, Sarah Silverman, Louis C.K. and Michelle Wolf. The series was slated to air four more shows, but those have also been canceled and refunds are being doled out via the TicketMaster website. Netflix was rumored to have been filming the series, which is where Dave's mini-special, "8:46," was shot.
Willow Smith reacts to her mom's honesty about August Alsina romance
For 19-year-old Willow Smith, watching her mom Jada Pinkett Smith come clean publicly about the "entanglement" she had with August Alsina when she and Will Smith were secretly separated was nothing short of inspirational. "I want to put it on the table. I'm so proud of you. To be able to see you and Dad do that, for me, that was like, 'OK, that's the real deal,'" Willow said on this week's "Red Table Talk." "That's real love." Jada and Will discussed Jada's extramarital romance with the singer on the Facebook Watch series over the summer after August outed them as having had an affair years earlier. After initially denying it, Jada and Will spoke openly about what was going on in their marriage at the time that caused them to separate. They also talked about their devotion to one another and how it outlasted the separation — and Jada's brief relationship with Augst. "When you can be like, 'I'm with you, I'm going to stand by you and I'm going to hold your hand, because I love you,'" Willow continued, "… that's really important." Willow's comments came as part of a larger discussion with her mom, her grandmother and Brene Brown about the power of vulnerability. Will and Jada tied the knot in 1997.
Amy Schumer has protested racial injustice and police brutality every day since June
In early 2018, Amy Schumer gave an emotional speech at the Los Angeles March for Our Lives rally, urging lawmakers to create tougher gun control laws. Later that year, she was arrested while protesting Brett Kavanaugh's nomination to the Supreme Court amid sexual assault allegations. Now, as new stories of racial injustice continue to surface in the wake of the killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and others, Amy's not letting the quarantine keep her from demonstrating in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. During an appearance on "Ellen" Tuesday, Amy explained that while in quarantine with her husband, chef Chris Fischer, in his hometown of Martha's Vineyard, she met a woman on a median who was protesting George Floyd's death at the hands of white police. The woman turned out to be local activist Dana Nunes. Amy joined her, she said, and the pair sparked a regular morning protest. "We decided to come back the next day at 10:30 to kneel for George Floyd, and we've met every morning since the beginning of June," she explained, according to the Daily Mail. "Every day, we honor the life of a different person of color whose life was stolen by law enforcement." The idea apparently took off — now, some 50 to 100 people or more join Amy and Dana each morning to demand justice for Black Americans. Back in August, during one of the largest demonstrations yet, Dana explained her reasons for protesting this way: "I needed to be out here for my two grown, black sons," she said, according to the MVTimes. "I needed to be here for my grown daughters, who are people of color. I needed to be out here for my cousin, who was one of the names that we honored."
