What you might not know about Jason Segel's contribution to "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" is that he wasn't just the film's star, but also its writer. After wrapping the movie, Jason returned to TV as a cast member on "How I Met Your Mother" until 2014. But in 2009, Jason was back on the big screen alongside his "Sarah Marshall" co-star Paul Rudd in the comedy "I Love You, Man." He also joined the writing and production team for the 2010 college comedy "Get Him to the Greek." After appearing in films like "Bad Teacher" and voicing Vector in "Despicable Me," Jason turned into a triple threat when he wrote, produced and starred in the 2011 family comedy "The Muppets." Kristen Bell stars as the title character in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." Sarah's an actress who dumps her boyfriend, Peter, for a hot rock 'n' roll musician. Things get weird when her ex shows up in Hawaii at the same hotel she's staying at with her new beau.

A lot has happened in Kristen Bell's life since her starring role in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." The former "Veronica Mars" actress (and "Gossip Girl" narrator) appeared in a series of comedies on both the big and small screens including "Couples Retreat," "You Again" and the TV series "House of Lies." One of her most exciting roles, however, came in 2013 when she voiced Anna in the Disney animated adventure "Frozen." Four years later, Kristen would land the part of Kiki in "Bad Moms" alongside her "Sarah Marshall" co-star Mila Kunis. "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" was British stand-up comedian, actor and author Russell Brand's breakthrough film in the U.S., as it introduced a new wave of fans to his savage humor. Already recognized as one of the hottest new talents under 30 by Entertainment Weekly, Jonah — who'd starred in "Superbad" and "Knocked Up" the year before — continued his funny streak by appearing in comedies like "The Invention of Lying" and "Get Him to the Greek." One of the few stars of "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" who'd already had their breakout moment was Paul Rudd, the cute "nice guy" who caught our eye back in 1995 in the romantic comedy "Clueless." After playing Kunu in "Sarah Marshall," Paul made his writing debut with the film "Role Models" (in which he also starred). Following his success, Paul continued to star in a slew of hit comedies including "I Love You, Man," "Dinner For Schmucks," "Our Idiot Brother" and "Wanderlust." In 2012, he got serious in the romantic drama "The Perks of Being a Wallflower." Of course, that same year he starred in the popular comedy "This is 40," earning him a Critics' Choice Award nomination for best actor. Paul also took on popular TV roles over the years, including the part of Bobby Newport on "Parks and Recreation." Admittedly, Liz Cackowski had a minor role in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," but the talented writer and producer deserves an update. Like Bill Hader — who played her husband in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" — Liz previously worked on "Saturday Night Live," but as one of its writers. Taylor Wily stars as Kemo, the kind-hearted hotel chef who's Rachel's supportive friend, in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall."

Amazingly, Taylor Wily looks exactly the same in 2018 as he did in 2008 in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." The Honolulu-born actor, who's a former sumo wrestler and mixed martial artist, has been bringing his island charm to the small screen on "Hawaii Five-0," on which he plays Kamekona, a shrimp truck operator and police informant, since 2010. In 2017, Taylor's famous "Hawaii" character got a chance to cross over onto the rebooted action series "MacGyver." Up next for Taylor is a starring role in the big-screen romance "Here Comes the Sun." Taylor's been married for years to native Hawaiian Halona Wily, with whom he has a few kids.
