Rosie O'Donnell's life has been full of ups and downs in recent years. In 2015, she and wife Michelle Rounds kicked off a bitter divorce and custody battle over daughter Dakota, 2. Rosie — who lost about 50 pounds in 2014 thanks to weight-loss surgery following a 2012 heart attack — also left her gig as a controversy-sparking co-host on "The View" (for the second time) in February 2015. In August, Rosie's then 17-year-old adopted daughter Chelsea ran away from home with her 25-year-old boyfriend, who was later arrested on endangerment charges. The teen later slammed Rosie's parenting and decided to move in with her biological mother. On top of all of that, buzz started in September that Rosie has been dating Tatum O'Neal.
Christina Ricci starred in "Now and Then" as the younger version of Roberta Martin, the tomboy of the group.
In 2014, Christina Ricci gave birth to her first child, a son, with husband James Heerdegen. So it only makes sense that she's currently working on the upcoming indie film "Mother's Day." She also starred in the Lifetime series "The Lizzie Borden Chronicles" in 2015. All of this after working on the show "Pan Am" back in 2011, where she met her hubby, a dolly grip, on set. The pair wed in 2013 in New York and the rest is history.
Demi Moore starred in "Now and Then" as Samantha Albertson, who made a career for herself as a Sci-Fi author.
Demi Moore's had some bad luck in 2015. In July, a man was found dead in her swimming pool after a party that went on while she was out of town. And a month earlier, one of her storage units was robbed of $200,000 worth of belongings. But other than that, she's been on the up and up since her split with husband Ashton Kutcher — and since seeking professional help for "exhaustion" back in 2012. She's in the upcoming movie "Wild Oats" and has been dating around: She was last linked to drummer Sean Friday in 2014.
Gaby Hoffmann starred in "Now and Then" as the younger Samantha Albertson, who was obsessed with the supernatural.
Gaby Hoffmann is a new mom — she gave birth to her daughter Rosemary with boyfriend Chris Dapkins at the end of 2014. Along with motherhood, she's still killin' it on television with roles on two hit shows: "Transparent" and "Girls." She was even nominated for an Emmy in 2015 for each of them. Way to go, working mom!
Melanie Griffith starred in "Now and Then" as Teeny Tercell, who went on to become a famous actress.
After close to 20 years together, Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas finalized their divorce in July 2015, but they still share time with their daughter Stella. (She also has two older children from two other marriages.) Though the newly single star's acting career has cooled down as of late, her daughter Dakota Johnson's fame has skyrocketed since the young actress landed the lead in 2015's "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie.
Thora Birch starred in "Now and Then" as Teeny Tercell, the girlie girl who had a thing for boys and makeup.
Thora Birch is set to return to the small screen in the 2016 USA TV series "Colony" after taking a break from acting since her last movie "Petunia" in 2012. Though the seemingly single star had a great career after her role in "Now and Then" — she starred in the Oscar-winning 1999 film "American Beauty" as well as "Ghost World" in 2001 — we're excited to have her back.
Rita Wilson starred in "Now and Then" as the older Chrissy DeWitt, who stayed in her hometown of Shelby, Indiana, to get married and have a baby.
In April 2015, Rita Wilson announced that she had undergone a double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery after being diagnosed with breast cancer and was on the mend. She said she was lucky to have the support of her actor husband Tom Hanks, to whom she's been happily married since 1988 — a rarity in Hollywood. The actress returned to her role in "Fish in the Dark" on the Broadway stage just a month after she went public with her health news.
Ashleigh Aston Moore starred in "Now and Then" as young Chrissy DeWitt, the friend who was overly sheltered by her mother. Ashleigh went on to appear in a few more projects including "Northern Exposure" and "Touched By an Angel" before she retired from acting in 1997. Ashleigh was just 26 when she died in British Columbia in 2007, although the cause of death remains unclear: Some reports say it was pneumonia and bronchitis, while others state that she passed away after suffering an accidental heroin overdose.
