Something's Gotta Give actors and actresses: Where are they now?

2003 saw two of our favorite stars, Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton, reunite in "Something's Gotta Give" after previously sharing the screen in the 1981 historical drama "Reds." The Nancy Meyers romantic comedy told the story of an unconventional later-in-life romance and became a huge commercial and critical success. Jack Nicholson played Harry Sanborn in 2003's "Something's Gotta Give." A bigwig in the music industry, Harry is accustomed to dating women half his age and is doing just that when he ends up finding love with someone more age-appropriate: his girlfriend's mom. So what is Jack up to these days?

Jack Nicholson was already a legendary movie star before stepping into Harry Sanborn's shoes. He set an impressive record alongside fellow actor Michael Caine in the early '00s, becoming one of the two actors who received an Academy Award nomination every decade from the '60s on. Since picking up a Golden Globe nomination for best actor in "Something's Gotta Give," Jack has only starred in four films. His followup to "Something's Gotta Give" was the 2006 crime drama "The Departed," in which he played Frank Costello alongside fellow Hollywood heavyweights Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Martin Sheen and Mark Wahlberg. After that, it was the lighthearted film "The Bucket List" opposite Morgan Freeman in 2008. In 2010, Jack made an appearance as himself in Joaquin Phoenix's mockumentary. And his last time on the big screen came later that year in the romantic comedy "How Do You Know," which co-starred Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson. Though he's dated numerous women over the decades including Anjelica Huston and Lara Flynn Boyle, Jack has only been married once — to Sandra Knight for six years in the '60s, with whom he has a daughter, Jennifer, born in 1963. He contended paternity of a son, Caleb, born in 1970 with actress Susan Anspach, though he later reportedly acknowledged that he was the boy's father and helped put him through college. Daughter Honey Hollman was born in 1981 (her mom is Danish model Winnie Hollman). And finally, Jack had two children with actress Rebecca Broussard — daughter Lorraine (born in 1990) and son Raymond (born in 1992).

Diane Keaton played playwright Erica Barry in 2003's "Something's Gotta Give." She meets Harry Sanborn (Jack Nicholson) while he's dating her daughter Marin (Amanda Peet) and ends up butting heads with him. She also entertains a much younger love interest in Julian (Keanu Reeves), Harry's doctor, before finding love with Harry. What's Diane up to now?

She was a bona fide movie star before starring in "Something's Gotta Give" and she continued to be after! Diane Keaton followed the hit film up with the comedy-drama "The Family Stone," in which she starred with Claire Danes, Dermot Mulroney, Rachel McAdams and Sarah Jessica Parker. She later played an overbearing mom in "Smother" in 2008 alongside Dax Shepard and Liv Tyler. "Love the Coopers" saw Diane in another comedic drama, this time for the holidays in 2015 as she played the matriarch of a family with Alan Arkin, Ed Helms and Marisa Tomei amongst an ensemble cast. She voiced Jenny in 2016's "Finding Dory" and later that year hit the small screen in HBO's "The Young Pope." Most recently, she appeared alongside other greats like Jane Fonda, Mary Steenburgen and Candice Bergen in "Book Club," and next up she can be seen in "Poms" in 2019. Diane, who never married, decided to become a mother later in life. She adopted daughter Dexter in 1996 and son Duke in 2001.

Amanda Peet took on the role of Marin Klein in "Something's Gotta Give." The 29 year old is an auctioneer who happens to be dating Harry, played by Jack Nicholson, an older man who later falls for her mom Erica, played by Diane Keaton.

2003 saw Amanda Peet star in two films — "Something's Gotta Give" and the psychological thriller "Identity" with John Cusack and Ray Liotta. She continued to share the screen with big names, like George Clooney and Matt Damon in 2005's "Syriana." Amanda reunited with John Cusack once more for 2009's disaster flick "2012" and appeared as Darcy in Jack Black's "Gulliver's Travels" in 2010. Since then, Amanda has largely focused on television roles, ranging from the drama "The Good Wife" (from 2012 to 2013), the HBO series "Togetherness" (2015) and, most recently, the Amazon series "The Romanoffs." A few years after her "Something's Gotta Give" role, Amanda married screenwriter David Benioff, who's now best known as the co-creator and showrunner of HBO's "Game of Thrones." The two share three children: daughters Frances (who goes by Frankie) and Molly and son Henry.

Keanu Reeves played Julian Mercer in "Something's Gotta Give." As a young doctor, Julian tends to Jack Nicholson's Harry after he has a heart attack and later falls for Erica (Diane Keaton).

Keanu Reeves followed up "Something's Gotta Give" with a few flicks in 2005 including "Constantine," in which he played the titular role. Aside from acting, Keanu also performed with his post-Dogstar band, Becky, in 2004 before quitting in 2005. He tried his hand at a romantic story opposite Sandra Bullock in 2006's "The Lake House" and starred in two films in 2008, the crime-thriller "Street Kings" with Forest Whitaker and Chris Evans and the sci-fi film "The Day the Earth Stood Still." What followed was a weird period in his career marked by several B-movies before he tried his hand at writing with the book "Ode to Happiness" and a viral moment as the meme "Sad Keanu," which featured a picture of the actor sitting on a park bench eating alone. Keanu wouldn't have another big box-office hit until 2014 when he starred in the first installment of the "John Wick" franchise, which was followed by the sequel "John Wick: Chapter 2" in 2017. Next up for Keanu? The 2019 installment, "John Wick: Chapter 3." Nothing is known about the mysterious star's current personal life.

Rounding out the main cast? Frances McDormand played Zoe, a lesbian feminist women's studies professor who happens to be Diane Keaton's character Erica's sister.

Frances McDormand was already a decorated actress before 2003 and she continued to pick up accolades. In 2005, she starred in "North Country," which earned her her fourth Academy Award nomination (she'd won for "Fargo" in 1997). She appeared in plenty more films the rest of that decade before heading to Broadway to star in "Good People" in 2011, which earned her a Tony Award for best actress. 2014 saw her pick up a Primetime Emmy and a Screen Actors Guild Award for her work in the HBO miniseries "Olive Kitteridge," making her just short of an EGOT (somebody get her a Grammy!). Most recently, Frances starred in "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" in 2017, which earned her a second best actress Oscar. Aside from a successful work life, Frances also has been lucky in love — she's been married to director Joel Coen since 1984. They share son Pedro, whom they adopted in 1995.
