Can it really have been three years since the emotional TV dramedy "Parenthood" went off the air? The series, which ran from 2010 to 2015, followed the Braverman family in all their ups, downs, highs and lows over six seasons of incredible storytelling. Starring Mae Whitman as Amber Holt, the rebellious teenage granddaughter of Craig T. Nelson's family patriarch Zeek Braverman, the series drew on real-life issues like addiction, teen pregnancy, autism, infidelity and more, endearing fans to the show while helping us all realize that there's no such thing as a perfect family. Since Mae is about to celebrate her 30th birthday on June 9, 2018, Wonderwall.com decided to check up on her and the rest of her old castmates to see what's going on in their lives since they left the series. There has been no lull in the forward progression of Mae Whitman's Hollywood career. After leaving "Parenthood" in 2015, the actress turned up on the big screen in the romantic comedy "The DUFF" and the sci-fi horror-comedy "Freaks of Nature." Along with her appearances in films and on TV shows, Mae's also got a long history as a voice actor. Over the years she's lent her voice to animated characters on series like "Dragons: Race to the Edge," "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," "DC Super Hero Girls" and even "Family Guy." Today, Mae's starring on the new hit NBC crime comedy "Good Girls" as single mom Annie Marks, who, along with her sister and best friend, turn to a life of crime to make ends meet. In 2018, she appeared in the Duplass Brothers' indie "Duck Butter." Up next for Mae? Along with the news that "Good Girls" was renewed for a second season, the actress was cast in the upcoming rom-com musical "Valley Girl." While she's keeping her dating life on the down-low, we do know she's BFFs with her former "Parenthood" little brother, Miles Heizer, who's currently starring on Netflix's "13 Reasons Why."

In 2015, "Coach" and "Poltergeist" alum Craig T. Nelson appeared in the Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart comedy "Get Hard," which he followed with a recurring guest role on the hit Netflix series "Grace & Frankie." In 2017, he co-starred in the adventure thriller "Gold" alongside Matthew McConaughey and in the TV movie "Raised by Wolves." In May 2018, Craig returned to the big screen in the female-led comedy "Book Club" and has a voice role in 2018's animated "Incredibles 2" as Bob Parr aka Mr. Incredible, a character he first voiced in 2004. Craig's been married to actress Doria Cook-Nelson since 1987. He has three children from a previous marriage.
Bonnie Bedelia (center) starred as Camille Braverman on "Parenthood." Camille is the matriarch of the Braverman clan who gives her and husband Zeek's four grown children and their many grandchildren unconditional support and love (as well as frequent unsolicited advice).
Bonnie Bedelia has enjoyed a long career in Hollywood that stretches back to the 1950s. Most famous for her roles in films like "Die Hard," "Die Hard 2" and "Presumed Innocent," Bonnie's also an accomplished Broadway star who, in the 1960s, starred in four different stage productions including "The Playroom." After leaving "Parenthood," this talented actress stepped away from the spotlight for nearly two years before returning to the big screen in the 2017 comedy "A Very Sordid Wedding" and the western drama "The Scent of Rain & Lightning." That same year, Bonnie also had a recurring role on the Kiefer Sutherland drama "Designated Survivor" and was in two TV holiday movies, "A Joyous Christmas" and "Christmas on the Coast." While Bonnie doesn't have any new projects in the works for 2018, we're hoping she'll continue to bring her talent to the big and small screens. In the meantime, she's likely enjoying some free time with her actor husband, Michael MacRae, whom she married in 1995. Bonnie has two adult sons from a previous marriage.
Lauren Graham starred as Sarah Braverman, Zeek and Camille's second child, on "Parenthood." Sarah is a single mom of two teenagers, Amber and Drew Holt, who moves back home with her parents to help make ends meet.
The year after stage and screen actress and published author Lauren Graham left "Parenthood," she returned to one of her best known roles, Lorelai Gilmore, in the 2016 miniseries reboot "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life." In addition to TV, Lauren picked up two big screen roles that year in the comedies "Joshy" and "Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life" and released her third book, "Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls and Everything in Between." 2017 also included a recurring role on "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and a voice role in the animated TV comedy "Vampirina" — plus Lauren was also busy writing her fourth book, "In Conclusion, Don't Worry About It," which debuted in 2018. She's also writing the big-screen adaptation of the YA novel "Windfall." Lauren's been dating "Parenthood" co-star Peter Krause (who played her older brother on the show) since 2010.
Miles Heizer starred as Drew Holt on "Parenthood." Drew is the youngest son of Sarah Braverman, a quiet, shy young man who desperately misses his father.
Miles Heizer moved from "Parenthood" to the critically acclaimed Netflix drama "13 Reasons Why," which debuted its second season in May 2018. After leaving "Parenthood" in 2015, Miles went on to appear in several big-screen dramas too including "Memoria," "Roman J. Israel, Esq." and 2018's "Love, Simon." Aside from his role as troubled gay teen Alex Standall on Season 2 of "13 Reasons Why," Miles also made an appearance as a guest judge on Season 10 of "RuPaul's Drag Race." The actor was rumored to be dating co-star Brandon Flynn in 2017, but his rep insisted they were "just friends."
Peter Krause starred as Adam Braverman on "Parenthood." Adam is the oldest of Zeek and Camille's children and a devoted husband to wife Kristina and their three children.
There's been no down time for Peter Krause since "Parenthood" came to an end in 2015. The actor co-starred in the big-screen indie comedy "Night Owls" that same year while filming two shows in 2016: the miniseries reboot of "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" (where he appeared on the episode "Fall" alongside his partner and former "Parenthood" co-star Lauren Graham) and the TV drama "The Catch." After two seasons, "The Catch" was cancelled in 2017 but Peter didn't wait long before he was lighting up the small screen once more. In 2018, the former "Six Feet Under" star landed the lead role on the Ryan Murphy drama "9-1-1." The series has been renewed for a second season. In the meantime, Peter's wrapped up filming on the upcoming big-screen biographical drama "Saint Judy," which is about real-life immigration attorney Judy Wood. Peter has a teenaged son, Roman, from a previous relationship.
Monica Potter starred as Kristina Braverman on "Parenthood." Kristina has three children with husband Adam. Although she's sometimes guilty of being a helicopter parent, Kristina truly loves and cares for her family and is willing to do whatever it takes to help them succeed.
Shortly after Monica Potter's time on "Parenthood" came to an end, the actress revealed that her orthopedist husband, Dr. Daniel C. Allison, had joined the Navy Reserve. Monica, who has a daughter with the doc, learned about life as a military wife before returning to the small screen in 2017 on the dramatic crime thriller "Wisdom of the Crowd." In 2018, Monica experienced her fair share of bad news. First, headlines proclaimed that Monica and Daniel were in the process of divorcing after nearly 11 years of marriage. Then she revealed on Instagram that she suffers from the gastrointestinal disease colitis. "Wisdom" was cancelled following allegations of sexual misconduct against her co-star, Jeremy Piven. While Monica, who also has two adult sons from her first marriage, doesn't have any new projects on the books, we're hoping her time off will give her a chance to heal her body and mind.

Ever since Max Burkholder starred as Max Braverman on "Parenthood," people have wondered if he actually has Asperger Syndrome in real life. The answer? No. The young actor made his performance authentic by meeting with doctors who specialized in treating Autism Spectrum Disorder to learn the correct mannerisms and reactions for the role. Dax Shepard starred as Crosby Braverman, the third child of Zeek and Camille Braverman, on "Parenthood." Crosby is often reckless and childish but deep down, he has a heart of gold. After learning on Season 1 that ex-girlfriend Jasmine secretly gave birth to his son years before, Crosby vows to be a parent and, eventually, a husband to his growing family.
Another actor who's remained busy since "Parenthood" ended in 2015 is Dax Shepard, seen here with his wife, actress Kristen Bell, in 2018. From guest roles on shows like "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and voice work on animated comedies like "Robot Chicken," Dax has kept his acting portfolio diverse. In 2016, he co-starred in the comedy "The Boss" alongside Melissa McCarthy and did voice work on the children's animated series "Terrific Trucks." Dax followed that with an even busier 2017, starring in five different projects including the big-screen adaptation of "CHiPs" and the crime comedy "El Camino Christmas." In 2018, along with making a guest appearance on his wife's series "The Good Place," Dax will star in the TV movie "Bless this Mess." He also just finished filming the big-screen comedy "The Buddy Games." Dax and Kristen share two daughters.
Joy Bryant starred as Jasmine Trussell, Crosby's ex-girlfriend and the mother of his son, on "Parenthood." Jasmine is a professional dancer who gave birth to Crosby's son Jabbar five years earlier but never told him. After finally revealing the truth, she was surprised to find she still had feelings for her former beau.
After leaving "Parenthood" in 2015, Joy Bryant found a home on the TV drama "Good Girls Revolt." Tyree Brown starred as Jabbar Trussell-Braverman on "Parenthood." Jabbar learns in Season 1 that his father is Crosby Braverman. Although he's hesitant at first, Jabbar eventually opens up to Crosby and develops a close bond with him.
Ever since Tyree Brown's time on "Parenthood" came to an end in 2015, he's worked steadily on the big and small screens with roles in films like "Operation: Neighborhood Watch!" and "Camp Cool Kids" as well as guest spots on TV shows like "Mack & Moxy" and "Criminal Minds." While the 14 year old works on getting good grades, he's also finished filming the upcoming drama "One Nation Under God" alongside onetime TV soap star Antonio Sabato Jr.
Erika Christensen starred as Julia Braverman-Graham, the youngest child of Zeek and Camille Braverman, on "Parenthood." Julia's a busy corporate lawyer by day and a wife and mother by night, which causes frequent tensions with husband Joel.
Erika Christensen jumped from one TV series to another when "Parenthood" ended in 2015. The actress immediately found a home on the crime drama "Wicked City" while also starring on an episode of "Impress Me." By 2016, Erika had landed roles in four films too including the made-for-TV rom-com "Anything for Love" and the drama "All At Once." In 2017, she appeared on another TV series, the drama "Ten Days in the Valley," and in the biographical movie "The Case for Christ." Up next for Erika is a part in the 2019 crime comedy "Clover." Erika's been married to cyclist Cole Maness since 2015. The couple welcomed their first child in 2016 and in June 2018, she revealed that they're expecting baby No. 2.
Sam Jaeger starred as Joel Graham, Julia's husband, on "Parenthood." Joel is a stay-at-home dad while his wife holds down a job as a lawyer. Since he's always home, Joel's developed a stronger bond with daughter Sydney than his wife has, which causes friction in their marriage.
Immediately after hunky Sam Jaeger left "Parenthood" in 2015, he landed roles in the TV movies "October Kiss" and "Lumen." In 2018, Sam will once again return to the small screen when he appears on an episode of new series "Reverie." Sam's been married to actress Amber Jaeger since 2007. They share two sons.
