Whether it's a pop-rock band consisting of three sisters or a pop-punk band fronted by twin brothers, many musical groups, regardless of genre, are comprised of siblings. Back in 2005 in Wyckoff, New Jersey, brothers Nick, Joe, and Kevin formed what we've come to know as the Jonas Brothers. A year later, they released their debut album, "It's About Time," which they followed with 2007's "Jonas Brothers." 2008 marked the peak of their teenage fame — they starred in the Disney Channel original movie "Camp Rock," debuted the Disney series "JONAS" and released their third studio album, "A Little Bit Longer," which earned them a Grammy nomination for best new artist. Sisters Chloe and Halle Bailey — better known as the R&B duo Chloe x Halle — were discovered by Beyonce and signed to her label, Parkwood Entertainment, after posting covers on YouTube. After releasing the 2016 EP "Sugar Symphony," which they followed with the 2017 mixtape "The Two of Us," Chloe x Halle gained more prominence in 2018 when they landed co-starring roles on the "Black-ish" spinoff "Grown-ish." That same year, the duo released their debut album, "The Kids Are Alright," which earned them two Grammy nominations (for best new artist and best urban contemporary album). 2020 marked the release of their second studio album, "Ungodly Hour." Its lead single, "Do It," became their first song to enter the Billboard Hot 100. Recommended tracks: "Happy Without Me," Who Knew" and "Forgive Me."

California-born sisters Este, Danielle and Alana Haim formed HAIM in 2007 after growing up in a musical family (their parents used to play in the cover band Rockinhaim). Following the release of their 2012 EP, "Forever," the trio signed with JAY-Z's Roc Nation group. In 2013, they released their debut studio album, "Days Are Gone," and three years after that, they earned a Grammy nomination for best new artist. 2017 marked the release of their second studio album, "Something to Tell You," which debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200. In June 2020, HAIM released their third album, "Women in Music Pt. III." Recommended tracks: "Falling," "You Never Knew" and "I Know Alone."

2015 was the year that changed it all for then-13-year-old Billie Eilish. The Los Angeles native uploaded the track "ocean eyes" — which was produced by her older brother, FINNEAS — to Soundcloud. She was subsequently signed to Interscope's Darkroom before she released the EP "Don't Smile at Me" in 2017. Her debut studio album, 2019's "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" — and its hit music — went on to win five Grammys in 2020 including album of the year, best pop vocal album and record and song of the year for "bad guy." Billie also took home the prize for best new artist and FINNEAS, who's also a solo artist, won for non-classical producer of the year for his work on his sister's album. Consisting of brothers Gerard and Mikey Way, Ray Toro and Frank Iero, My Chemical Romance was formed in Newark, New Jersey, in 2001. They released their debut studio album, "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love," the following year. In 2004, after signing with Reprise Records, the band released their second album, "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge," which was certified platinum less than a year after its release. MCR reached even greater heights critically and commercially with the release of their 2006 concept album "The Black Parade," which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and went three times platinum in the United States. Their fourth album, "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys," was released in 2010, and three years after that, they announced their breakup. In December 2019, My Chemical Romance reunited for a concert in Los Angeles and announced a subsequent mini tour that's scheduled to kick off in 2021. Oasis, which was formed in Manchester, England, in 1991, originally consisted of members Liam Gallagher, Paul Arthurs, Paul McGuigan and Tony McCarroll, with Liam's brother, Noel, joining the band not long after. Oasis went on to release their debut studio album, "Definitely Maybe," in 1994, which was followed a year later by one of the bestselling albums of all time, "(What's the Story) Morning Glory?" Their third album, "Be Here Now," was released in 1997 and became Britain's fastest selling album of all time. Amid changes to their lineup and the increased tabloid coverage of Liam and Noel's sibling rivalry, Oasis went on to release four more albums: 2000's "Standing on the Shoulder of Giants," 2002's "Heathen Chemistry," 2005's "Don't Believe The Truth" and 2008's "Dig Out Your Soul." The band officially called it quits in August 2009 after Noel's departure. As of 2009, the British rockers have sold more than 75 million records throughout the world, making them one of the bestselling bands ever. Siblings Sydney, Noah and Graham Sierota (and formerly eldest brother Jamie) formed the indie-pop band Echosmith in 2009. The California-born teens rose to fame with debut single "Cool Kids," which was released in 2013. With 1.3 million downloads, the track went on to become Warner Bros. Records' fifth bestselling digital single of 2014. Their debut album, "Talking Dreams," was released in 2013, while their sophomore album, "Lonely Generation," debuted in 2020. Recommended tracks: "Cool Kids," "Bright" and "Love You Better."

Identical twins Tegan and Sara Quin formed the indie-pop duo Tegan and Sara in 1998. They released their debut studio album, "Under Feet Like Ours," in 1999 and have since released eight additional albums and several EPs. 2011's "Get Along," a collection of three films and a live album, earned the Canadian singer-songwriters a Grammy nomination for best long form music video. In 2014, they and The Lonely Island recorded the theme song to 'The Lego Movie" — "Everything Is Awesome" — which was nominated for best original song at the Oscars the following year. 2019 marked the release of their ninth studio album, "Hey, I'm Just Like You," which debuted three days after their memoir, "High School," was published. Recommended tracks: "Closer," "Back in Your Head" and "Walking with a Ghost."

Who could forget the brothers who brought us one of the most infectious pop songs of all time?! In 1992, Isaac, Taylor and Zac Hanson joined forces to create the pop-rock trio Hanson (formerly known as the Hanson Brothers). They gained widespread recognition following the release of the 1997 smash hit "MMMBop," which was the first single off their debut Grammy-nominated studio album "Middle of Nowhere." The band of brothers has since released nine studio albums including 2000's "This Time Around," 2017's "Finally It's Christmas" and their 2018 symphonic effort, "String Theory." To date, Hanson, has sold upwards of 16 million records worldwide. Recommended tracks: "Yearbook," "Penny & Me" and "Running Man."

Sisters Alyson and Amanda Michalka formed the pop duo Aly & AJ in 2004. They went on to release their debut studio album in 2005, "Into the Rush," which was certified gold by the RIAA. The duo's second album, "Insomniatic," was a critical success and their highest debut, peaking at No. 15 on the Billboard 200. After temporarily changing their name to 78violet in 2009, they returned to Aly & AJ in 2015 and released their first EP, "Ten Years," two years later. Their latest EP, "Sanctuary," debuted in 2019 and received rave reviews for its evolved, '80s-synth-pop sound. Recommended tracks: "Potential Breakup Song," "Like Whoa" and "Church."

British rock band Radiohead, which consists of members Thom Yorke, brothers Jonny and Colin Greenwood, Ed O'Brien and Philip Selway, was formed in 1985 in Abingdon, England. They released debut single "Creep" in 1992 and followed it with their debut album, "Pablo Honey," in 1993. The group earned widespread critical and commercial success upon the release of their second studio album, 1995's "The Bends." 1997's "OK Computer" was another standout for the band, with critics recognizing it as a defining record that spoke to Gen Xers. Their fourth studio album, 2000's "Kid A," has been praised by critics as the best album of the decade. From 2003 to 2016, the Grammy-winning band released four more albums: "Hail to the Thief," "In Rainbows," "The King of Limbs" and "A Moon Shaped Pool." Recommended tracks: "High and Dry," "Fake Plastic Trees" and "Paranoid Android."

Fronted by identical twin brothers Joel and Benji Madden, rock band Good Charlotte was formed in 1996 in Waldorf, Maryland. Following the release of their self-titled debut studio album in 2000, Good Charlotte found fame with the release of their 2002 album, "The Young and the Hopeless," which was certified three times platinum by the RIAA. The Maryland-born rockers went on to release three more albums — 2004's "The Chronicles of Life and Death," 2007's "Good Morning Revival" and 2010's "Cardiology" — before going on a four-year hiatus. They announced their comeback in 2015 and have since released albums "Youth Authority" and "Generation Rx." Recommended tracks: "The Young & the Hopeless," "The Motivation Proclamation" and "Change."

In 2007, Swedish sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg formed the folk duo First Aid Kit. Since gaining popularity for their single "Emmylou" in 2012, they've released three albums and three EPs including "The Lion's Roar," "Stay Gold" and 2018's "Ruins." Recommended tracks: "My Silver Lining," "Wolf" and "America."

Kings of Leon, which consists of brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill and cousin Matthew Followill, was formed in 1999 in Nashville. While they'd already released three albums — 2003's "Youth & Youth Manhood," 2004's "Aha Shake Heartbreak" and 2007's "Because of the Times" — it was their fourth studio album that launched them to international fame: 2008's "Only by the Night." In addition to becoming their first platinum-selling release in the U.S. and earning them a Grammy nomination for best rock album, it was also considered the bestselling album of 2008. They've since released three more studio albums: 2010's "Come Around Sundown," 2013's "Mechanical Bull" and 2016's "Walls." Recommended tracks: "Use Somebody," "Waste A Moment" and "Pyro."

Australian brother-sister folk-pop duo Angus & Julia Stone hit the scene in 2006. Their second studio album, "Down the Way," was released in 2010 and included the popular track "Big Jet Plane." They've since released their third and fourth albums: 2014's "Angus & Julia Stone" and 2017's "Snow." Recommended tracks: "Santa Monica Dream," "Grizzly Bear" and "Chateau."

Rock band The Cranberries consisted of members Dolores O'Riordan, Fergal Lawler and brothers Noel and Mike Hogan. The Irish rockers rose to fame following the release of their critically and commercially successful debut album, 1993's "Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?" They released 1994's "No Need to Argue," 1996's "To the Faithful Departed," 1999's "Bury the Hatchet" and 2001's "Wake Up and Smell the Coffee" before going on a six-year hiatus. After embarking on a reunion tour in early 2009, their sixth studio album, "Roses," was released in 2012. However, after lead singer Dolores died in January 2018, The Cranberries made the decision to disband. They released their final album, "In the End," in 2019. In 2004, identical twin sisters Lisa and Jessica Origliasso formed the Australian pop duo The Veronicas. They released their debut studio album, "The Secret Life of…," which was certified four times platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association, and followed it with their sophomore effort, 2007's "Hook Me Up." After a seven-year hiatus, they released their third studio album, "The Veronicas," in 2014. 2020 marked the release of their latest album, "Human," which included their third No. 1 single in Australia, "In My Blood."
