Cardi B and Nicki Minaj call a truce amid feud

Cardi B and Nicki Minaj have decided to play nice for now. The rappers, who have been at odds since their New York Fashion Week fight in September, settled their differences on Oct. 29. "Ok you guys, let's focus on positive things only from here on out. We're all so blessed. I know this stuff is entertaining & funny to a lot of people but I won't be discussing this nonsense anymore," Nicki tweeted. "Thank you for the support & encouragement year after year. Love you." Cardi posted a screenshot of the tweet on her Instagram, writing "@Nickiminaj alright then! Let's keep it positive and keep it pushing!" Their truce comes just hours after the two went at each other on Instagram and on Nicki's radio show, "Queen Radio."

Ariana Grande performs for the first time since Pete Davidson breakup

Ariana Grande returned to the stage for the first time since ex-boyfriend Mac Miller died of an overdose in September and she ended her engagement to Pete Davidson in mid-October. Justin Timberlake revealed that he wrote his hit song "Cry Me a River" in just two hours after splitting with ex-girlfriend Britney Spears. The singer opened up about the 2002 breakup in his new book, "Hindsight: & All The Things I Can't See in Front of Me." "I've been scorned. I've been pissed off. The feelings I had were so strong I had to write it," JT explained, without naming Britney. "I translated my feelings into a form where people could listen and hopefully relate to it. People heard me and they understood it because we've all been there."

Kanye West is distancing himself from politics, claims he's been "used"

Kanye West is done with politics. The rapper, who has been vocal about his support for his "brother" Donald Trump, said that he no longer wants to be involved in political discussions. "My eyes are now wide open and now realize I've been used to spread messages I don't believe in," he wrote on Twitter on Oct. 30. "I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative !!!" He later called TMZ "to make it clear he did not mention Donald Trump in his tweets," the site explained.

Classic country singer and songwriter Freddie Hart (pictured) died on Oct. 27 at 91. Hardy Fox, a founding member and main composer of the Residents, died on Oct. 30 at 73 after a long battle with brain cancer.

Neil Young confirms marriage to Daryl Hannah

Neil Young confirmed his long-rumored marriage to Daryl Hannah this summer in an Oct. 31 post on his website. He referred to the actress as "my wife Daryl" in a message about the importance of voting in the midterm elections. "Give us common sense gun laws that protect our people, in schools, in places of worship, in the workplace and on the streets. VOTE," he wrote on Neil Young Archives.
