Steven Tyler sends cease-and-desist letter to Trump for use of Aerosmith song
Steven Tyler wants President Donald Trump to stop using Aerosmith songs. The rocker sent the president a cease-and-desist letter on Aug. 21 after Trump played "Livin' on the Edge" at a West Virginia rally. The letter, which was sent through Steven's attorney Dina LaPolt, accuses the president of willful infringement in broadcasting the song.

Jennifer Lopez, Camila Cabello win big at 2018 MTV VMAs
A number of stars rocked the red carpet at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards in New York City on Aug. 20, but Camila Cabello was one of the big winners of the night, taking home the video of the year and artist of the year awards, while Jennifer Lopez dominated the stage during her Video Vanguard performance. Queen Latifah to be honored with Marian Anderson Award
Queen Latifah will receive the Marian Anderson Award, an honor that celebrates "critically acclaimed artists who have impacted society in a positive way," Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney announced on Aug. 21. The actress will be honored at a Nov. 20 gala in Philly.

The Eagles have the No. 1 album of all time, surpassing Michael Jackson
The Eagles' greatest hits album has officially been declared the best selling album of all time, beating Michael Jackson's "Thriller." The 1976 album, "Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975," was certified 38-times platinum on Aug. 20, pushing the 33-times platinum "Thriller" to second place.
Country singer Gretchen Wilson arrested following flight disturbance
Gretchen Wilson was arrested on Aug. 21 after she allegedly caused a "minor disturbance" on a flight, according to police. The country singer was taken into custody at Bradley International Airport in Connecticut after she landed and reportedly became "belligerent" toward Connecticut state troopers who wanted to speak to her following an altercation with another passenger over the plane's bathroom.
Paul McCartney addresses "Paul is dead" conspiracy theory 49 years after rumor emerged
Paul McCartney has spoken out about the longtime conspiracy theory that claims he died in the late '60s and was secretly replaced by an impersonator. The Beatles star addressed the "Paul is dead" myth, which took off in 1969, in a segment that aired on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" on Aug. 20. "We just kind of let it go," he remarked.
