Michael Jackson's brothers slammed a new HBO documentary, "Finding Neverland," that claims the singer sexually abused two men when they were children. "I don't care to see it," Jackie Jackson told Gayle King on "CBS This Morning" on Feb. 27. "No, because I know my brother. I don't have to see that documentary. I know Michael. I'm the oldest brother. I know my brother. I know what he stood for. What he was all about. Bringing the world together. Making kids happy. That's the kind of person he was."

R. Kelly released from Chicago jail after posting bail

R. Kelly was released from a Cook County jail in Chicago on Feb. 25 after his $100,000 bail was posted by a friend. The disgraced R&B singer surrendered to police last week and pleaded not guilty to 10 counts of sexual abuse. He's been accused of preying on underage girls for decades.

Ariana Grande addresses Manchester Pride controversy

Ariana Grande defended herself on Feb. 27 after fans criticized her for her upcoming performance at Britain's Manchester Pride festival. Critics argued that Pride ticket prices skyrocketed after Ariana, who does not identify as LGBTQ, signed on to perform. "I have nothing to do with ticket pricing," she wrote on Twitter. "Manchester Pride sets those rates, and they're mostly out of my control… I want to celebrate and support this community, regardless of my identity or how people label me. And also I wanna visit a city that means so much to me."

Ed Sheeran is a married man! The British singer secretly tied the knot with childhood friend Cherry Seaborn in December 2018, according to reports published on Feb. 27. The Sun reported that only 40 people attended the winter wedding, which was held at the couple's private estate in England's Suffolk county.

Peter Frampton diagnosed with degenerative disease, announces farewell tour

Peter Frampton revealed that he suffers from body myositis, an incurable condition that causes muscles to slowly weaken over time, during a "CBS: This Morning" interview on Feb. 24. The musician shared the news just a few days after announcing his farewell tour. "The reason I'm calling it the 'farewell tour,' again, is because I know that I will be at the top of my game for this tour and I will make it through this and people won't be saying, 'Oh, you know, he can't play as good.' I can. But we just don't know for how long," Peter told host Anthony Mason.

Andre Previn, a four-time Oscar-winning composer, died on Feb. 27 at 89. Peter Tork, the bassist for the hit '60s band the Monkees, died on Feb. 21 at 77. Mark Hollis, the frontman of the new wave British group Talk Talk, died on Feb. 26 at 64. Jackie Shane, a transgender soul singer who became a pioneer in the Toronto music scene, died on Feb. 22 at 78. Andy Anderson, a former drummer for rock band The Cure and punk singer Iggy Pop, died on Feb. 26 at 68. Mac Wiseman, a country and blues music icon, died on Feb. 24 at 93.

FCC receives complaints about Adam Levine's shirtless Super Bowl Halftime Show performance

The FCC received more than 50 complaints about Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine's decision to take off his shirt during the 2019 Super Bowl Halftime Show, according to reports published on Feb. 23. Critics were quick to point out the apparent hypocrisy since Janet Jackson was punished and shamed when Justin Timberlake revealed her breast during their 2004 Super Bowl Halftime Show appearance yet Adam revealed both of his breasts without consequence.
