Gleb Savchenko says same-sex "DWTS" partners would be "awesome"
In a new interview with Mr. Warburton magazine, "Dancing with the Stars" pro Gleb Savchenko is advocating for the show to take a progressive step with same-sex pairs. "Last season when Johnny Weir got on the show I was like, 'Johnny, you HAVE to be my partner,' but they ended up not doing it," the 37-year-old Russian explained. "Of course, there is a strong male/female dynamic in dance, but if you have two men doing the same thing it would look awesome and be so fascinating. I would love to do it, but it would have to be with the right partner." "Ballando con le Stelle" which is the Italian version of "Dancing with the Stars," was the first iteration of the show to feature a same-sex couple, which they did in 2018 with two men.
Larry King's wife, Shawn, is contesting his will
Following Larry King's death, his wife, Shawn is contesting his amended will, which the TV personality updated in 2019. King updated the will on Oct. 17, 2019, two months after filing for divorce from Shawn — a divorce that never proceeded. In the amended will, King instructed that his five children, Chaia (now deceased), Andy (now deceased), Larry Jr., Chance and Cannon were to split his fortune evenly, with his then-estranged wife to receive nothing. On Tuesday, Feb. 16, King's wife of 23 years filed a legal objection (obtained by ET) that stated, "Shawn was actively involved in Larry's career and businesses, was a partner in many of them, and continued in that role up to Larry's death, and currently. Shawn is the one with the most knowledge of Larry's businesses, assets and wishes." She claims the 2019 will is not sufficient to replace his "official" will, which was filed in 2015, of which his wife was the executor on, sole trustee of the King Family Trust and sole shareholder of his companies, LK Productions and Larry King Enterprises, Inc. The documents also claim that she became aware of a secret account, in which the 87-year-old paid $266,000 in gifts to his son, Larry King Jr., which she states makes him "conflicted in representing" his father's estate.
Aaron Carter takes drug test on Instagram
Aaron Carter is proving his commitment to staying somewhat clean and sober by taking a drug test on social media. The singer took to Instagram to share footage of him urinating into a sample cup and shaking around the sample until results were revealed through an indicator strip on the cup, which showed that it tested for things like THC, antidepressants (TCA), barbiturates, benzodiazepines, methadone and amphetamines, among other drugs. Carter, who came under suspicion for the color of his urine (he explained he was merely "a little dehydrated"), shared the results of his test, showing that he tested negative for everything other than THC (he is open about smoking marijuana) and benzodiazepines, which he attributed to his Xanax prescription.
Kristin Wiig subtly reveals her twins' names
Kristin Wiig gave her family a special shout-out at the end of her new movie, "Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar." At the end of the film, which is streaming on Amazon, Wiig thanks her husband, Avi Rothman, and then "Luna & Shiloh," which seem to be the couple's twins, whose names were unknown before now. Wiig and Rothman welcomed their twins in early 2020 via a surrogate and Wiig has been mostly private about the children, save for an interview with InStyle in August 2020. "We've sort of been quarantining since January because of the babies. We're nesting, and we're tired," she said at the time. "Having two 9-month-olds is a lot! But they're growing, and I can't wait to see them every morning. It's not all just lying around and smiling at babies, though. It's overwhelming to think about everyone else who's struggling, and it's hard to be good knowing that." Before turning to surrogacy, the 47-year-old was on a long journey to motherhood, which included IVF.
