Welcome to double digits, Eddie Murphy. The comedian, 57, is expecting his second child with his longtime girlfriend, model Paige Butcher, 39. It will be Eddie's 10th child overall (with five different women). Eddie's rep confirmed the news to "Entertainment Tonight" on Aug. 27. The baby is due in December. In 2016, the actor spoke about fatherhood, telling reporters, "I really got lucky with my kids. There really isn't a bad one in the bunch, everyone turned out to be really good people. None of my kids are like me, and I'm sure parents say this all of the time, they are all totally different from each other. None of them are chips off the old block. They all have their own thing, They're good kids."

Secret wedding
Neil Young and Daryl Hannah have secretly tied the knot, it was reported this week. Multiple media outlets reported throughout the week that the duo married on Aug. 24. On Aug. 30, the New York Post said Neil serenaded Daryl with his song "Harvest Moon" during a full moon. The Post added that 100 guests were invited to the top-secret ceremony near San Luis Obispo, California. It's believed that the couple intentionally chose that location to make it difficult for paparazzi to document their day. Guests' invitations read, "Please note the hotels do not have information about the event, so please only contact them to book a room (and do not mention anything about this event)." A wedding planner also told guests, "Everyone will be asked to leave their phones and cameras at the hotel." People magazine noted that the duo had two wedding ceremonies — one in California and another on Neil's yacht off the coast of Washington State.

New charges
Heather Locklear will be hit with three new charges stemming from a June arrest during which she allegedly attacked a cop and kicked an EMT. TMZ reported that the new charges include one misdemeanor count of interfering with a law enforcement officer and two counts of misdemeanor battery for allegedly attacking first responders. On June 24, the '80s star was arrested and booked on two counts of misdemeanor battery upon an officer and emergency personnel. During that incident, Heather allegedly hit a deputy who was trying to separate her and her family members. She allegedly kicked an EMT while she was being put on a gurney, TMZ reported at the time. The EMT claims he suffered serious injuries and has contacted a lawyer.

Surprise album
Guess who's back! Without any warning, Eminem dropped a brand-new album on Aug. 30. "Tried not 2 overthink this 1… enjoy," he tweeted, along with a photo of the album, "Kamikaze." Eminem almost broke Twitter with the surprise project, as people were amazed that he'd released an album with zero advertising or marketing or heads up. Lebron James tweeted, "Now if y'all think this @Eminem 'Kamikaze' album isn't [fire emojis] you're just hating and incompetent of lyrics/cadence/breakdown of his raps. Oh and he putting quite a few in a body bag too!" (Em takes aim at a slew of bold-faced names including President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, Machine Gun Kelly, Joe Budden, Tyler, the Creator, Lil Pump, Lil Xan and Lil Yachty, among others.) It's fair to say that this was the nicest surprise of the week.
Treatment-bound
Mel B is planning to enter treatment for PTSD, she confirmed, while other sources claim she's also seeking help for alcohol and sex-addiction issues. In a statement released to The Sun, the Spice Girl said, "I've been working with a writer on my book, 'Brutally Honest,' and it has been unbelievably traumatic reliving an emotionally abusive relationship and confronting so many massive issues in my life from the death of my dad to my relationship with men. I am being very honest about drinking to numb my pain but that is just a way a lot of people mask what is really going on." She continued, "Sometimes it is too hard to cope with all the emotions I feel. But the problem has never been about sex or alcohol — it is underneath all that." She later added that she has "recently been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder." Mel said she would seek additional treatment "in the next few weeks" and explained that it would be in her native Britain. "I am still struggling but if I can shine a light on the issue of pain, PTSD and the things men and women do to mask it, I will do. I am speaking about this because this is a huge issue for so many people," she added.
Married man?
Ed Sheeran might be a married man. Then again, maybe he's not. This week, he kept everyone wondering. In a series of interviews to promote his new documentary, "Songwriter," Ed dodged the question of whether he and fiancée Cherry Seaborn quietly got married (Ed announced their engagement in January). "Maybe we are," he told a reporter from "Extra." When the reporter guessed that a wedding could have happened in Thailand, Ed said, "Wouldn't have happened in Thailand, but maybe it happened." If he got married, he said, the location was "probably [the] U.K…. Home with the fam." "Entertainment Tonight" tried getting him to answer the "is he or isn't he" wed question too, but Ed just offered a shrug. In a chat with Sky News, he showed his ring when he was asked if he had picked a wedding date. Asked how he pulled off a secret wedding — if he is indeed hitched — he said, "I never do anything too public anyway."
Almost divorced
More than three years after announcing their split, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have finally reached a divorce settlement. However, the couple will not submit the paperwork to a judge until after Ben successfully completes his stay in rehab, according to multiple news reports from Aug. 26. A judgement was filed on Aug. 9 to finalize the divorce, but the court has not signed the documents yet, meaning the couple is still legally married. Ben and Jen did not have a prenup, but TMZ reports that they were able to reach a property settlement and agreed to joint custody of their three kids, Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 6.
Rule breaker
Miranda Lambert is a single woman. Late last week, she singer told a newspaper that she was "happily single," indicating that she and Turnpike Troubadours frontman Evan Felker had split after several months of dating. No one seemed to know why. According to People magazine, Evan crossed a line toward the end. "I don't think it was a dramatic split, but he knew what he was 'allowed' to do based on her rules and he broke them," a source said. "He did something that he knew she wasn't going to approve of, she assumed he did it and he didn't deny it." Note to all of Miranda's potential suitors: Don't cross Miranda.
Lawsuit
An attorney announced on Aug. 29 that he plans to sue Brad Pitt related to the actor's Make It Right foundation, claiming the post-Hurricane Katrina homes that the foundation helped build in New Orleans are falling apart. Ron Austin told WWL-TV he plans to file the lawsuit on behalf of some Lower Ninth Ward residents. Pitt's foundation helped built homes for displaced survivors after Katrina decimated the the city in 2005. Ron said many of the homes have serious infrastructure issues and claimed residents have reported illnesses and headaches. He added that Brad's organization "was making a lot of promises to come back and fix the homes that they initially sold these people and have failed to do so." Brad, who founded the organization in 2007, wants to resolve the issues. According to The Blast, the actor is encouraging the foundation to respond to the homeowners' needs.
Sexual assault accusations
French actor Gérard Depardieu has been accused of sexual assault and rape in France. A judicial source told news agency AFP on Aug. 30 that the Paris prosecutor's office has launched a preliminary investigation for "rape and sexual assault" against the legendary film star. According to Le Parisien, the 69-year-old actor "absolutely disputes" the allegations. AFP said a woman in her early 20s filed a complaint on Monday, alleging that the actor abused her in his Paris home early in the month. The actor's lawyer said, "Gérard Depardieu is shaken, this accusation is the opposite of what he is and what he respects. He is totally stunned by this complaint."
