Reality TV star Jesse James is gunning for President Donald Trump, but not in that way.
The former "Monster Garage" host took to Instagram to share an image of a custom-made gun that he made for the 45th President.
"I think it's pretty much the Law. If you build guns and your friend becomes President. You build him a Badass gun!," he captioned a pic of the ornate pistol.
In speaking to Maxim about the gun, Jesse, who befriended the Prez after appearing on "Celebrity Apprentice," said he felt it was necessary to build a custom .45-caliber handgun for No. 45.
"Besides us being friends and me building guns for a living, as soon as I knew he was gonna win, I was like, 'Oh, I'm gonna build him a gun,'" he told Maxim. "I wanted to really do something special. Even without the presidency, I wanted to do something that was a little on the flamboyant side."
The gun says "Donald J. Trump" on one side, and "45th President of the United States Of America" on the other. The gun is plated in 24-karat gold.
Jesse said the gun rests in a box that uses wood from one of George Washington's 13 Chestnut trees. "DJT" and "45th" are engraved on the box.
Jesse, who was famously formerly married to Sandra Bullock, said he wants the Prez to buy the gun from him, so that he can keep it. If it's presented to Trump, it becomes property of the United States and would probably end up in a presidential library on display.
"I guess is cool for the gun because it'll be on display, but I kinda think he should keep it and shoot it, because it's an awesome gun," Jesse said.
Asked how much it was worth, Jesse shied away.
"We can't really talk about that," he told the mag, "because there's a limit to what the president can accept."
