It's been a tumultuous few weeks for Kanye West, but reports suggest that following his brief hospital visit for "anxiety," he appears to have calmed his nerves and returned to "focusing on music."
"[He] seems much more relaxed and chilled out for the past couple of days," a source tells People, adding that he still harbors "regrets about sharing such private details" about his wife, Kim Kardashian West.
"He definitely understands that he upset Kim. He feels very bad about it. It's obvious that he still loves Kim," says the insider.

At a somewhat disastrous South Carolina rally for his presidential campaign, Kanye revealed that Kim initially considered having an abortion when she was pregnant in 2012. He later posted multiple rants on Twitter about Kim and her family members and said he wanted to get a divorce.
The rapper has since deleted those tweets and apologized publicly to his wife.
"I would like to apologize to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter," he tweeted on Saturday. "I did not cover her like she has covered me. To Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me."
A source later told ET that Kim and her family "are hoping this public olive branch is a start for him in allowing Kim to help."
The same day he apologized to Kim, Kanye was spotted entering an emergency room near his Wyoming ranch. According to ET, he had been feeling anxious, but only stayed for a few minutes. He reportedly had doctors see him privately at home instead.
Kim, meanwhile, shared a long, public plea for "compassion" with regard to her husband last week.
In the post, the reality star acknowledged Kanye is likely suffering from a manic episode related to his bipolar disorder. She also reminded fans and critics alike that making pubic assumptions about someone else's mental illness hurts everyone who's struggling with a similar disorder.

Kanye previously announced he would also be releasing a new album named after his late mother, "Donda," on Friday, July 24. That album never materialized, but Kanye did post an image of the album artwork over the weekend.
On Sunday, an insider told ET that after getting some assurance that he was in decent physical health, he returned to working on music in his studio.
People's source shared a similar statement, telling the magazine Kanye is "very excited about his new music and can't wait to share it with the world."
As for the album's delay, the source added, "He wants it to be perfect though. And it's almost perfect."
