In July, Kanye West delivered emotional, bombastic and polarizing remarks at a campaign rally after announcing his decision to run for president. Among his headline-making comments was the revelation that he and wife Kim Kardashian West almost aborted their eldest child, daughter North, 7.
Kanye — whom Kim strongly hinted was in the midst of a bipolar episode at the time — told the crowd that he changed his mind after God intervened and told him not to terminate the pregnancy. The rapper-designer told the audience, "So even if my wife were to divorce me after this speech, she brought [our daughter] North into the world, even when I didn't want to. She stood up, and she protected that child."
But according to a new report, Kim may yet divorce Kanye — and part of the reason is his stance on abortion, which changed after he embraced Christianity and was born again last year.

Page Six spoke to a source who revealed that Kanye's bipolar disorder — he's previously spoken about not taking his prescribed medication — as well as his anti-abortion stance (Kim is pro-choice) have negatively affected their marriage.
"Kim has the whole divorce planned out," the source told Page Six, "but she's waiting for him to get through his latest episode."
That latest episode is believed to be behind some recent troubling tweets including one Kanye posted on Sept. 18 directed to his daughter in which he writes about being murdered. "NORTHY I AM GOING TO WAR AND PUTTING MY LIFE ON THE LINE AND IF I AM MURDERED DON'T EVER LET WHITE MEDIA TELL YOU I WASNT A GOOD MAN," he wrote on Twitter, adding, "WHEN PEOPLE THREATEN TO TAKE YOU OUT OF MY LIFE JUST KNOW I LOVE YOU."

That came after he was briefly banned from the social media platform after posting a video of himself urinating on a Grammy Award that had been placed in a toilet. He captioned it, "Trust me… I WON'T STOP." The post came after he'd spent time tweeting about the unfairness of the music industry, specifically Universal Records.
Kanye claimed he should be able to own the master copies of his songs and argued that Black entertainers and athletes aren't getting their fair share of profits. Kanye added that people don't speak up for fear of repercussion, something he's not afraid of. He claimed the reason that Universal won't sell him his master records is because the label knows he can afford them. He also uploaded copies of his 10 Universal Records contracts and implored "every lawyer in the world" to look at them.

In mid-August, a source told Us Weekly that Kim and Kanye were "in a better place" following a family vacation to the Dominican Republic earlier in the month — a trip that was described as a last-ditch effort to save their marriage. But clearly more has changed over the last month.
